hi everyone!!
i want to buy a nexus 9 i want to know 2 things before:
1) it will support the mhl or the slimport? how?
2) it will support the otg without any problem?
thanks!!
It doesn't support mhl or slimport right now, and I doubt it will do so in the future. Read about it in the OTG threads.

It's not just about the software. If the pins for mhl or slimport are missing, then it's never gonna happen. Sorry to burst your bubble

For LG G2 Mini (D618 variant) it does not support USB on-the-go.

Thank you Zyper. I really appreciate your response. So that means, only the LTE version (qualcom snappdragon and nvidia tegra processor) supports it. Hmm seems great. Though GSM arena's review shows that it does not support it. Anyway, no need for me to have it rooted/bootload the g2 mini.
So can I use any type of USB otg cord?

Oh I see. Thank you for the information. So in short, USB OTG is not supported for any lg g2 mini versions.
I saw a post somewhere saying that you'll have to bootload the g2 mini to enable OTG support? Is this true?

Hi Myron,
I was just wondering if you managed to figure this out as I'm thinking about ordering a cable for my kingzone k1 turbo.
Let me know?
There are 2 different MHL cables. I only know this because my Galaxy S 2 and Galaxy Tab 3 use different cables. I bought an adapter for the tab to use the S2 cable.
When my K1 comes in, I'll give it a shot and let you know what I find.
Also, are you on stock ROM or custom? I know the S2 with a custom ROM not based on stock the MHL does not work well or at all (depends on the ROM... I could get still images out, but no motion).
Just in case you didn't know, MHL works with the Mediapad X1. I tried my MHL adapter that I got for the Samsung Galaxy Note, which I believe also works with the Note 2 and it works like a dream. The newer Samsung MHL adapter for the Note 3 and S4 / S5 doesn't work though.

What firmware version do You have? I checked one MHL adapter with my 4.4.2 X1 (Build 7D-503LV100R002C233B007) and nothing shows up on the tv, although HDMI cable is detected by the tablet.

I've got the 7D-501U, with the stock B019 ROM, Android 4.2.2. It's not rooted.

Thanks!
Has anyone with 4.4.2 got MHL working?
Update: I just checked it with stock 4.2.2 (B007) and it still doesn't work for me :/

As of 2013, there are 4 types of MHL adapters
The Galaxy SII, Note 1, and Galaxy Nexus (and more than 50 smartphones by other vendors) support MHL 1 with a 5-pin connector,
The Galaxy SIII and Note 2 support a 11-pin version of the MHL 1,
The HTC One is the first phone to support MHL 2 with the standard 5-pin connector. It is backward compatible with MHL 1 5-pin adapters.
The Galaxy S4 is the first phone to support MHL 2 with the Samsung 11-pin connector. It is backward compatible with the GSIII/Note 2 adapters.
Version 2 of the MHL standard increases the maximum supported refresh rate from 30 to 60fps (at 1080p), and it also doubles the rate at which the MHL cable can charge the phone (when used in conjunction with a micro-USB cable).
Huawei Mediapad X1 works with the first one (MHL 1, 5-pin) and probably with the third one (MHL 2, 5-pin) because of backward compatibility
I bought an ipega pg-9025 gamepad
It paires bluetooth OK with my Huawei Honor 5X (KIW-L21), Android 6.0.1
But the controls do not work...
No bluetooth HID support by Huawei/Honor 5X (answer of HiHonor support)
So, which CianogenMod or other alternative android OS supports bluetooth HID, supports USB OTG, and Wifi 5 GHz perhaps?
Does it have all functions of Honor 5X supported as well... fingerprint scanner, ea?
know where to ask questions..
plz know the xda rules before posting threads..
there is a separate Q AND A section for asking your doubts... so first read and then post dont simply spam

Cyanogen Mod 13 support USB OTG.
For Bluetooth HID, I never tried, I don't know.
Wifi 5 GHz will never be supported, hardware limitation.
The best is to try, just make a nandoid backup of your actual ROM (you need to unlock bootloader first), so in (the very unlikely) case you don't like CM13, you can revert easily to your current ROM.
bluetooth HID is the question...
Before I do all this effort/take the risk
Maybe buying a second hand Samsung which has OTG and HID?

Hi all!
Do you know if the usb c port of the poco F1 is compatible Power Delivery (or Power Delivery 2.0).
It's to get hdmi support (with Display link hub maybe) AND CHARGE the phone during mirroring.
If anyone found the solution to get hdmi support and charge the phone both at a time. Thanks !

Did you ever find a solution? Does the Poco F1 work with display link without charge? I'm thinking of getting a Poco but need the ability to screen mirror via HDMI. Thanks in advance.

I did already read that thanks, my only issue is investing money in it without knowing how good the latency is. What is good for you may not be for me if you know what I mean.
I understand, but i m just okay with that solution with the chromecast.
So i didn't test with a display link device. (too expansive)
I have no noticeable latence with my chromecast ultra... so, i don't want to buy an expansive solution like a : display link device
