Is it possible to activate s-view window on Note 4 if you have fake flip case? Xoposed modules or something?
I tried some apps in google play, but they are to slow or ugly.

I think you'll need to get an "IC" chip to go in the back of your case and as of yet they haven't started selling them separately yet
Maybe someone tried s-view module for note 3 in xposed ? I didnt rooted my phone yet, so havent tried it

As far as I know there is a module that simulates the chip so you should find it. Look in the s5 forums. The only problem is the location of the magnet on your case and the cutout window size. So if you have the magnet in the right place, the right size window cut out and the exposed module you should be golden. Granted it works with the note 4 that is.
There is a few on ebay. That say ut has it.

Fake case and fake s view
My sister bought me a case off ebay for Christmas. Looked genuine and the peel off strip looked genuine. Then I noticed the qr code. Scanned it and it took me to a place to download software that simulated the s view. It was horrible. I would place my finger over the top of the phone and it would come up with the case open, the music option resulted in force close, the contacts appeared in Chinese, the only way to use it was to turn on the touch sensitivity which wasn't bad until you pressed the bottom on the case then the capacity buttons would operate your phone with the case closed. I ended up uninstalling the terrible software so now I'm waiting for an xposed mod or other work round method so I can use my case like it should be used.
Only buy cases with the pins to enable s view until an alternative method becomes available.

I know that many of us here are looking for a desk type dock that actually will work if the Note has a thin case on it. Anyone know of any? I can't see having to take the case off and put it on every time i want to use the dock.

I'm liking the Momax so far. It's got a lip on the front, which I love, and the fit was ok. The phone is much more comfortable against my ear now, but I had to trim the inside of the case where it touches the power button. I think the international note had a little more inset on the power button, so this case was over compensating with a little bump there. Quick trim sorted it out.
Bringing this back on topic, I can say for a fact that this dock (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/220923137856?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) which I bought prior to the Momax case, is not at all compatible. It is however a good fit without a case (not that that's any use to me now).
Curious about the doc that the OP is talking about. Definitely want to see more pics of docs with cases.
Just thought I should follow up on this now that I have the dock.
It fits great with the Momax case, and looks much better in person than I thought it would. Also the ebay seller was very good, they screwed up and sent me the wrong dock at first, but they caught the error, and shipped the right one within a day (and told me to keep the wrong dock when it got here, no charge).
I'll see if I can take a few pics in a bit.

Search for the original htc flip cover case. Resembles the wallet case, although there's no magnetic clip to close, but it allows the device to be charged with the case closed.

You don't know what brand, do you? A search for that brings up literally like 400 things in Amazon, and they're all similar but none that stand out. ideal features:
-Can charge and/or use headphones
-Easy in/easy out
-Relatively slim

This is the case I have, HTC HC V701 is the model number, if you search on amazon/ebay you'll get some results. It comes in black and white covers (although I only found the black one at 25 bucks on amazon), shell is always white/semi transparent.
It has all those features you mention, only drawback is it does not feature a magnetic clip to close the flip cover, as some wallet/book cases do.

Thanks man! Only issue is that it doesn't look like it includes the "wallet" portion for me to store some cash and credit cards in when I don't want to carry a separate wallet, but I might give it a shot.
If anyone has recommendations for cases that include wallet slots I'd be interested in hearing them, too.

I went through my amazon history and I bought this one february 20th and its still going.
Its less than $2 and $3 for shipping so its pretty cheap I might buy another.
The corners of mine cracked about 3 weeks in with the case but are still holding the phone in. I have dropped it a time or two and the phone has never fallen out.
At the max you can fit 4 cards and 5 bills so this might be the only drawback.
I would recommend this im deciding if I should buy another or just use it till my contract expires this fall.

It does fit and work as long as the cover is open. The problem I had is that it wouldn't stay open enough to be able to see enough of the screen from across the room. You could probably prop something against the cover to keep it open.
Looking for a Quick Circle Case from UK that replaces the back plate and adds the wireless charging and keeps NFC. Want a case that keeps this phone as slim as possible hate fat phones. Preferably ones you have used

I am usng Slim guard. Dont like those flip cases.
I got a spigen wallet case and was disappointed to find that it doesn't have a smart cover feature like my supcase wallet case had for my nexus 5. I hear some cover cases have this function so it seems the phone is capable of it but I can't find any wallet cases that mention having this feature. It makes it so the screen turns on when opening and turns off when closing the case. Perhaps it interferes with samsung pay? Does anyone know of any wallet cases that have this feature?

Do you think this might have something to do with the fact that they have that pixel only screen. When your phone is turned off it shows you time on the main screen and only those pixels are activated.
I'm also looking for a case like this. Seems really odd that no one has produced a wallet case that doesn't activate the sleep/wake function. Surely it's just the simple addition of a magnet. This phone has been out for almost a year but there's none of these types of cases. Wonder if Samsung have some sort of patent on the technology blocking others from using it because the official cases work the smart features so why not others?
I have tried a couple of the apps that will do this. . They aren't perfect but ok . I went back to my Samsung wallet case
