While I have used the Jelly bean and Kitkat both. I have found that Kitkat is way too slow for this phone. Looks like they need more improvement for the phone.

Me too found kitkat a bit buggy and unstable but on switching from dalvik to art, all was fine. So I am currently using KitKat with art. This is better than jelly bean.
And have u rooted knight with KitKat. I had rooted jelly bean but could not root KitKat, so if u have rooted KitKat please share the method

Search google regarding that. Simply understand that dalvik is more stable but art is more faster and battery consuming. To enable go to developer options in settings.

See carefully there and extract contents of both in one folder so that the folder has files named recovery, boot, ebr, scatter, system, secro, etc.

I am telling you just try once. And for screenshot, I will have to flash mine device too. At least try once. It would hardly take around 5 minutes after downloading files.

I heard this phone has a major heating issue.. Which doesnt affect the performance that much, but drains battery.. But that was with JB.. Does the KK upgrade fix this?

jus go to uc browser settings and stop hardware acceleration

That is common problem in all cm12.1 ROMs , ROM bug , you have to install game from playstore , as soon I fix , I will post it

This problem is only occur in high graphics games
I have just downloaded the rom i will tell u my experience and any bugs i found thnx for the rom buddy u r great

Is ussd working in this version? Please check the following too.
1. Notification led
2. Notification headsup
3. Show notification count in status bar
These three are not working in CM in shubham9543 version on A311. I want to flash this version if these are working.

Are you using A310.? Cause am on a311 and CM 12.1 works like a charm. Get it from mtkroms. And also there's a patch named starwars mod flash tht patch and thn try, Its best. Don't forget nandroid backup.

And must follow the instructions linked on the post. And you don't need to flash dolby atmos too as starwars mod comes with best audio settings, Pon3 audio control +maxx audio. What Android version is it based on ? KitKat or lollipop? (It isn't marshmallow)
And how can both sims have 3G when the second sim slot doesn't support 3G??
I use this for more than a month. Its bugless. And i m using 2 nd sim as 3g...
Its android version is 6.0 and nova prime launcher is inbuild... And is less than 200 mb

You can make both sins 3G on any mtk devices.
First Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Thn select first option tht is Phone Information.
Scroll down and select the GSM only option. Mostly it would be WCDMA preferred as default. Selecting that would open up drop down list box
Now first press Refresh then click Update and you will get 3G on both sims.
PS. Mostly work on custom roms.

I like the cynogen ones and had tried them,But I wanna know the best ROM I could get for this device. Thanks in advance ?
You can try RR Remix Rom or any AOSP based Rom for lag free performance and also as daily driver. Actually there are lots of ROM for our device you can try yourself and find out which satisfies your needs. Best of luck.

RR Remix Rom based on android 6 (MM) is good and stable for daily driver & we too have RR Remix Rom based on android 7.1 (Nougat) but it has some bugs. So you can give it a try. For me I'm getting good battery life on Nexus Rom so right now its my daily driver. But it depends upon one's preference if you want features and customization RR Remix is best but if you want Stock android with lag free performance and battery life AOSP based Roms are good. Do check out the links below.

I have heard the CM13 being stable and many people using it as their daily driver.
was using MM RR 5.7.4 rom for a few months now but now i went back miui with xiaomi.eu rom. i missed a lot of useful features which arent there in RR. like the good gallery app, call recorder, recorder app, good camera app, scanner app and so on. if you dont care about those dann i can recommend 5.7.4 ... but i only got 6h SOT with tha rom. with MIUI without any problems i get 8-10h SOT

There is no best rom, lot of them are great and you can't really choose one that is best one of them. There are lots of people using AICP, NitrogenOS, RR, maybe AOSIP. You can check the most popular ones and see which one you like most and which performs best for you.

There is no any nougat rom without camera fc or torch but it's rather rare

I am on latest rr 5.8.1. Torch toggle has been fixed. You can use google camera app or one plus camera app which run smooth, tho stock camera works fine for me.
I think I found a ROM for me the RR 5.8.0 cynogen based . I found it pretty smooth than the lineageos based one but the only problem I'm facing now is the VoLTE feature .I'm in dire need of that feature cause I'm using jio cellular network , and I tried some patches which didn't do the job. If anyone has a working patch or a cynogen based ROM with volte please direct me . thanks in advance again .and thank you for all the replies

I am using stock kernel & there is no 2% bug . Its a good Rom for daily use.

In my opinion The stable roms are :
1.DU --> for gaming combined with elementalX kernel
2.PureNExus --> for gaming combined with Guyver kernel
3.AOSIP 5.9 --> signal bar is very strong,for battery combined with infected r6 kernel
4.Carbon --> signal bar is better than du,purenexus but inferior to AOSIP5.9 COMBINED WITH INFECTED R7 kernel
great battery life.
Using all Roms with dual boot patcher.

if u really looking for bugless,stable rom like stock miui go for Omni official rom :angel: tested , the button mapper app well u may not use it according to the bug posted, becoz u wouldn't have touched in miui too :silly:

Right now I am on multirom miui and for atleast 6 months I will not switch roms due to exams.
Btw I have tried
Omni ROM - it has signal issues,while playing games on stock kernel cpu frequency always stuck on lower frequency which caused lags and heat , same thing happened with rr by movzx.
movzx resurrection remix (rr) boots faster than any roms i have tried,signal is best,the only problem is low transfer speeds when copying files and earphone issue , one side work but not the other one. can't say much about battery because didn't try it for long time only 4 days.
AOSPA Was laggy but has great audio IMO. can't flash custom kernels

By any chance does anyone believe that the title of this thread could be grammatically wrong it could be 'Most Stable' instead of 'Most Stability'. .
Running Lineage OS 14.1 no lags and bugs so far and battery backup is quite good,must try this rom.
