I am most likely going to switch to CM11. I've got my unlock key already, there is just a couple of things I want to know, before switching.
* Does the 120FPS recording work under Cyanogenmod? I know there is flashable camera, but I was just wondering if there will be media profiles to support the feature.
* is the DT2W (doubletap to wake) implemented in CM11 stock kernel, or do I have to flash different kernel to get the feature?

I think it should work in CM11 itself since couple days ago (saw people mentioning that in M5 forum).
One more thing - does the camera button work?
Camera button works when camera is open but doesn't launch camera as it does with stock

Hello,
Within all the call recorder app available on the play store, which one has fulfill your needs ? One of them is open source ? I don't know which one to choose and there are no reviews about it...
And I heard that a lot of these apps record only mic and not the other voice during the call.
Thanks.
After investigation, it appear that the only app working for the latest Android version are some up-to-date paid app.
Only CallRecorder by skvalex works, but it needs root access, kernel support, and is quite expensive.

And because he is the only one, he can put a big price. Fair, I understand his position.
By the way @sashank do you know if Cyanogen have this kernel support ? (2-way patch)

Yes, it has worked fine for me in both CM7.2 and CM10.1. I think almost all DHD kernels and ROMs have this.

But I heard by @avs333 and @skvalex that they have so many trouble to make this working for Nexus 4.
Do you know some people with the Nexus 4 and CM10.1 with this working ?

tnx for your replay
have a way to install this for s5?
there is a built in work-around bro, turn on air wakeup in accessibility setting, you can wake up your phone by gesture. my tip is you dont need to follow the illustration exactly, just a light swipe near phone sensor is enough to wake up your phone. somehow I find it more comfortable than knock on

I would like to make everyone aware of a camera app called Mi2raw, which enables easy RAW capture ALSO on the G2!
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maginmp.app.mi2raw&hl=nl (all credit to MaGin)
Thread: http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/mi2-mi2s-app-mi2raw-–-enables-capturing-real-raw.23563/
In my opinion, only one thing is missing to enhance the G2 camera, which is manual shutter speed control.
I read that the ZTE nubia Z5s has the ability to select a manual shutter speed (don't know what the range is).
I wonder if the nubia camera app could also be ported, I think the Z5s has the same IMX135.
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.nubia.camera&hl=nl
EDIT: Sorry everyone, I didn't realize the version you got is probably 2.4 which indeed only works for Mi2. However, I'm in the beta team, and I have access to the 2.6 version of the app.
I can assure you it works.
Edit 2: the new app will be available soon from play store. I cannot share it at this time. I promise it will happen
Didn't work on stock 4.4.2.

The app from the Play Store only works on stock ROM.
I can provide app that works on custom ROM based on LG G2 ROM, but I must ask permission from the developer.
This app probably doesnt work on CM based ROMs.
Probably due to missing modules or whatever.

I just realized the version you must be getting is 2.4. I have 2.6 which does work correctly. If developer allows me to I will share a working APK.
Yeah please

please find out i would love to take raw pics.
See first post!
Thanks for the info. I'm waiting.
already downloadable
Working. Thanks.
How do we decode DNG files? RAW Decoder from Play Store cannot do that.
Does this require root on LG D802?
Or I just install apk on unrooted stock firmware?
Is backup needed before installing?
For raw image editing, I see that people recommend Adobe Camera Raw.
The official thread for the Mi2Raw application can be found here.
Well i am apparently bad at reading rules

Adaway: http://adaway.org
Kernel auditor: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ladiutor&hl=en

I simply just disabled my nav bar by adding "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 "
to my build.prop you can use this app
im using this theme for black and red and matched the colors in the settings of LMT and positioned pie to launch from the bottom

The elite kernel team pre-configures their kernel
cool feature of it tho is you can enable grey-scale mode in kernel auditor and it makes your battery life insane (because your screen is only black and white) kinda like the Samsung super battery saver on the galaxy series i just set a tasker profile that changes kernel auditor and some system settings
@Dreamlogix
I've cleaned installed it and my SIM can't be detected :/
Hmm I'll have to take a look when I'm home anyone else having same issue?

True! I was asking because I find it kind of odd that you have a linaro kernel on a uber build ROM. About to flash now & check it out?

I've had this happen on several different ROMs lately. Normally, it will get detected after a few minutes.
Otherwise, popping the SIM out and putting it back in has solved it for me.
