I know, but I am looking for the widget normal. is it possible that there isn't?
its non-exist in tab s since samsung disable it on the stock firmware. you use supersamsung v2 custom if you want it. i think thedevious1 has enable the widget in his rom.
With NOVA launcher does not open that widget has some good launcher and do not deprive me of this widget, s planner?
Splanner widget apk is in the original firmware but is not enabled. Maybe someone could help us to enable...
If it's in the firmware, but disabled, might it be enabled using the de-bloating tool in the linked thread?

So those widgets apparently only work in TouchWiz, and while they're really useful, I'd very much prefer to use Apex launcher. What are some good replacements?
S planner aka calender widget works with apex.. But still if you want a replacement try android pro widgets

No, Calendar and S-planner are different widgets, and S-planner only shows up in TouchWiz.
Anyone that knows how to get s-planner month widget to work in apex launcher ?
Looked for ages and no go.
mate, the s-planner widget does not work on apex. i tried searching all over and could not find a solution. the best replacement is the Jorte calendar widget. although good, this widget requires quite a bit of config and re-config till you can get comfortable with the fonts, font sizes and the way calendar info is displayed. i use the Jorte now and quite happy with it.
Is there one that works with google like the S Planner did?
i have used apex on my SGS 2 for many months. after upgrading to SGS 3, im starting to like touchwhiz launcher! the widgets for calendar and yahoo finance are totally irresistable. so i decided to stick touchwhiz. its still a much improved UI than previously.
I just love the default weather widget for Samsung Galaxy S3. Problem is that when I change to Nova Launcher, the weather widget is not available from the widget list! What can I do to get the default weather widget in Nova Launcher? Must I switch to Apex or another launcher? :S
The default weather widget is part of Samsung's TouchWiz so when you change launchers you lose it. Going to another launcher other than Touchwiz will still not give you access to that widget.
You might try some of the widget programs like Beautiful Widgets in the market. They might have similar weather widgets. I know on my Rezound I use Beautiful Widgets for my HTC Sense style weather/clock when I run Nova.
Is there any way???? i need the weather widget in my apex launcher...

Doesn't look like it, I want the s planner widget but that too isn't available without touchwiz.

Yep, you only get the 'Calendar' widget.
The touchwiz widget apks are system apps. If some brilliant mind could pull them from system/app and (somehow) convert them to installable user apps, we would be able to use them with any launcher.
I'm not sure if this is even feasible...any takers;-)

Partially true…
On my Galaxy Tab P5100 with stock 4.1.2 and Nova launcher, the Accuweather widget was working flawleslly. It is a case, that it is partly a part of the system, because when pressed, it opens a full screen application...
Now, on 4.2.2 Nova can't pick it up anymore

That is inaccurate.
On my Galaxy Tab S2 the built-in Weather app used to provide both of its widgets to Nova Launcher without any problems: both the wide "clock & weather" widget and the small "weather only" widget were available in Nova. I had that classic Samsung's widget it on my screen in Nova for several years now. However, in my case just recently (around the beginning of November, I think) the wide "clock & weather" widget suddenly became unavailable in Nova Launcher.
The small "weather only" widget is still available in Nova Launcher though. When I switch to TouchWiz, I see two widgets under the built-in Weather app. But in Nova I see only one - the small one. This is a recent change.
I have no idea why "clock & weather" disappeared in Nova, but "widget is part of Samsung's TouchWiz" and "touchwiz widget apks are system apps" theories obvioulsy don't hold any water. Anyone?
I just installed Nova Launcher on my stock G Pad and imported all of the apps from the stock launcher. The stock weather widget doesn't seem to work with Nova. Does anybody know a workaround to get it to work?

Afaik not possible. Like on samsung roms, only for stock launcher. Stock calender widget should also crash on nova launcher.

You are correct, Sir. Stock widgets, HTC, LG and Samsung will only work in their respective UI Launchers.
OK, thanks for the heads up on that. There are plenty of other weather widgets, I just like the look of the LG stock one.

You'll have to read and learn that's the best solution imho. It seems that this snapshot is a mix of UCCW + Zooper Widget + an icon pack. Bunchs of tutorials & templates are available on XDA for UCCW and Zooper.

The launcher is likely Nova or Apex and there is an icon pack applied however it would be nearly impossible to tell you which icon pack it is without asking the phone's owner or scouring the Playstore or XDA or elsewhere for hours and hours.
That vertical calendar widget is defintely from Zooper Widget. You can download the app for free in the Playstore. The vertical calendar comes with it and it is called UpCalendar. Once Zooper is installed add a 2x4 widget to your screen and choose that UpCalendar widget
That clock widget may be Zooper as well but I agree with Primokorn that it may be UCCW. You'll have to search for it. Another option for a clock is to use the Playstore App called Zooper Widget Gallery. It will show you a lot of other clocks that are really nice as well.
Also, there is a really cool website called My Color Screen that has beautiful home screens and phone themes and they have step by step tutorials telling you exactly what to download and how to configure the widgets, icon packs, launchers, etc. I highly recommend checking the site out and trying out some of the themes so you can get an idea of how to customize your phone and make it look pretty :silly:
I've been using Themer for a couple of weeks, really nice app. I noticed that the Calendar Widget is no longer shown, in fact only the Everything, RSS and Zooper are the only Themer widgets now listed. Is the Calendar widget missing intentionally? If not, how can I get that feature back?

Hi,
Unfortunately those widgets have now been removed due to many complaints from the Play Store about the permissions the widgets were requesting. Sorry about that.
The Calender events are already displayed.

It was a very useful widget. The current event is already displayed, so you already have the permissions for that. So, please add that widget back.
Thanks
