I with the music app was better. I organize all my music by artist/cd so all the meta data is set up like that. This player does not do that. Any one of of another music player for Tizen? Or maybe tips on how I can make this better?
edit
well I see if I look at them under albums, it will keep the mp3s in order of the way I set them up so that might help some.

Is there a good player that will stream all my music in a Music folder I created? I can play them but it only lets me pick one song at a time. I would like to just pick them all and put it on shuffle. -thanks

this is what i am discovering. it's bad enough listening to studio music, but it totally kills the flow of live shows. anyone got a good answer?
beyond that, google music and streaming media player both stop if i steer away from them. ES Media Player is the only one that will allow me to do other things on the phone at the same time. the issue with it, however, is that it doesn't stop if i get a call. i answer and the music keeps playing.
ideas?
There is a player I use called CloudAround. It's in the market and it's great!
you can also try MusicDropNPlay
Bringing this up again to see if there are any new recommendations. I'm downloading CloudAround now and will report back.
How do you like CloudAround?

Let us know what you think of CloudAround. We are running in the fast lane with it and have some large features coming this month. We are adding selective sync (no more syncing your 100GB of data for just 5GB of music), folder views (for songs you don't have tagged or weren't recognized), and m4a support (pending Jan launch).
We're always open to suggestions as well.
Have a great day
Hey all,
Im trying to find a way to organize my songs somehow.
I would like to separate my music into to categories or folders, one for rock and one for country and then be able to pick either country or rock from my stock Htc music player.
I can/have hooked my phone up to my comp, created 2 folders and organized my songs accordingly. The problem is when I start up my music player the player does not recognize the folders and just gives me a complete list of songs on my phone.
Sometimes I just want to listen to rock and other times, chill out to some country. If I had the ability to pick a gene/folder within my music player, then I could just shuffle all songs within that folder only.
I have not been able to figure out how to make the phone/music player recognize folders
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
Thank you,

I do believe you can set up playlists and just pick that from the music player, otherwise find a music player that does support them.

I have tons of songs for each gen. It would not be worth it to hand pick the songs, way to time consuming. Its quicker to just skip songs, that is what I'm doing now, Hoping for a much better solution.
Thanks for the input
Try this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrtstudio.AnotherMusicPlayer
Browse and play your music by albums, artists, genres, songs, podcasts, folders, composers, videos and playlists

Sounds like that might work, Im going to give it a try
Thanks
Although not folder sorted, separation by Genre is sort of built into the MP3 standard, you just have to add the appropriate Genre tag to the files. There are multiple programs for Windows/Mac/Linux that can edit MP3 tags on single or multiple files at once. Then you just need a music player that can sort and play by Genre, like Winamp, PowerAmp, Fusion, N7, or most full-featured players.
You can also use an app like this to make playlists based off of what songs are in what folder.

Hi,
I'm looking for a music player which:
1. Has a nice looking clean interface, Google now like. A good example would be Shuttle player.
2. Will not display the same album multiple times. Some music players put most songs on one album and the rest on another due to various reasons. On some music players, this doesn't happen.
3. IF possible - a music player that does not cause mediaserver to go nuts.
Thanks.

Thanks, downloaded it and it looks nice once you apply a light theme. Also doesn't have the annoying duplicate albums.
One thing no one has commented on, is there a music player that eliminates the mediaserver problem?
How about nexmusic+ , apollo, and Now playing. Shuttle is pretty great already, just wish thy would add scroll animations.
Hope this helped.
I'm looking for suggestions for a basic music player ie one that plays MP3's and playlists. I don't need any streaming radio stations, I don't need music suggestions, I don't want it to use data, all I want is a basic music player. Native playlist creation would be a nice feature too. For some reason, even though all my music is on my phone (actually external SD), Play Music sometimes tells me something is not available in "downloaded only" mode.
Thanks.
Eric
vanilla music is pretty nice. you could also try shuttle if you want something a little less simple.

Both of those look great. Thanks!
Been using Poweramp (paid) for years. IMO the only way to go (until we see what foobar brings to the table).
Shuttle looks good. The free version does not have folder browsing or native playlist creation, but those aren't deal breakers.
I'm looking for a simple, beautiful and good music player to listen to my mp3 files
I think the Spotify music player is perfect, with the dark and clean visual and the album art at the perfect size
I just looking for a simple music player, doesn't need to have equalizer or anything like this
Is there anyway to download the Spotify music player to listen to my mp3 files? Or there is a music player with the same visual like Spotify?
I personally really like Shuttle but I'm not sure if it fits your definition of 'simple' or not.
I would like the Spotify visual

BlackPlayer Music Player seems to be close to what you're looking for.
The bottom volume bar can be removed from the settings.
Also note that the album art image is set to fit the screen height by default, which means it will be zoomed in at first. You can set it to be centered, like I did, from the settings too.
AIMP. Nothing comes close in terms of reliability and simplicity. Foobar2000 is coming to Android soon as well.
Phonograph is clean and material, without sacrificing information with blank spaces.
You can delete songs straight from Phonograph. Hadn't had any lag or ceashes.Nice looking tablet UI too.
Help with ID3 Tagging
Hi,
I am sure that this isn't the proper place to post this question,
but I need somebody's help!
Please take a look at the attached screenshot,
I accidently tagged Eminem's album with a special character "E".
No matter what music player i use to edit the tag, whether it be Poweramp, Rocket Player, Hi Music, or Shuttle Player, I can't seem to get it to go back! I've tried everything!
I've even tried downloading an ID3 Tag editor from the Play Store...several actualy, but for some reason my phone is set on keeping Eminem's Encore album with a special character E.
I even tried deleting the album, booting into recovery, wiping davlik cache and the cache partition, rebooting my device, and re-adding the album, but I still experience the same issue.
Does anybody know of an app or a fix for editing tags with special characters? Once I went special character, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to go back.
All suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks World!
