Hi, I've modded the theme of GB .62 myself.
It's an unified Holo ICS look for GB, including the Sony theme system!
Features :
- Holo background everywhere
- Modified pop up window
- Modified list divided be dimmer
- Very lite framework-res package, only 4.4MB ! I emptied the trashes .pngs from the framework.
- Changed status bar background to LG's (It's color is smoother)
Note :
- Please choose Flow/Blue theme in Display->Theme.
- Flash with CWM.
- You may choose to wipe cache and dalvik-cache to make sure that the system is clean before installing.
Note :
- If u want my fonts posted in screenshot, it's Segoe WP. Flash it in CWM.
See screenshots in attachment.
Credits to XtremeSilencer who make Atomic GB ROM.
My opinion about GB :
After some times using ICS, I'm really tired of the lags. It's really sucks.
GB is a really powerful, fast, fluid OS. Even my hands is not faster than the UI !
I don't need the ICS features, I think ICS is just a remake of the UI. I don't see any useful new features there.
What's more you want form GB?
So I stumbled across this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ide-xperia-z-lockscreen-hdpi-devices-t2189923 and noticed we did not have anything like this for Samsung Galaxy Star. I have successfully ported this to our device. The only rom that I have tested this on is JB Stock Deodex. It probably wont work on other roms.
NOTES FROM ORIGINAL THREAD
This modified android.policy.jar. So please do not try it on other phone models.*If you have other mods in your android.policy.jar, this mod will break it.
*This mod doesn't gives you toggle between Samsung Circle lockscreen and Xperia Z lockscreen. You will get only Xperia Z lockscreen. If you do not know how Xperia Z lockscreen looks like, watch this video prepared by MohammedAzi (included a guide to change lockscreen wallpaper) :*YOUTUBE*Thank you MohamedAzi.
Bugs1) Upon unlocking, Samsung lockscreen's wallpaper is still visible for about 0.3-0.5 second. Solution by JoFury: set fully black wallpaper for samsung lockscreen. Then go to settings - developers option and set windows animation to 0.5 or off. Thanks JoFury.
2) The music control/widget in lockscreen doesn't works with Samsung music player. Install third party apps as workaround.*
3) The music control/widget always show "No Tracks Available". Maybe installing Sony music player would solve it.
4) No shortcut to change Xperia Z lockscreen wallpaper. Workaround:*Solution by RocketSauce83Replace the UxpNxtLockscreen.apk with this version :*http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=39354512Thanks RocketSauce83Solution by Hyperrunner :*http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=38960185Thanks Hyperrunner*

Nice work buddy...
So u have deodexed rom.
Buddy , upload framework.jar . Ineed it for my next custom rom. Hope u will upload it soon
THanks in advance
Requirements:
1. A rooted Samsung Galaxy Star.
2. CWM version 6.
Steps:
1. Install Xperia Pirates ROM. For help go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748747. 80% of job done. Now its time to do small things that really matter.
2. You can install stock Sony Apps (like a Normal apk). Unfortunately I could not make stock phone and messaging app on our phone. Apps are included in attachments.
3. Although the ROM themes the elements, the progress bar is not that Xperia like, so install Smooth system progressbar (Xposed Module).
4. The Lockscreen Remains unchanged, install Xperia lockscreen from this post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687654.
5. What's still missing is the bootanimation, unfortunately I could not find Xperia bootanimation, if you find it, please comment with the link
Some instructions to make the ROM more meaningful and beautiful
1. Change android version to 4.4, because by default it comes with 4.4.2 xperia pirates, but on launching the easter egg, you find 4.4. You can change it by editing build.prop.
2. Keep the font size of the home screen and app drawer at 13.9. you can change it in launcher settings.
3. You can use seeder to reduce lag.
If I have helped, click thanks

Hi everyone !
Today I will explain how to install the theme SamSonya v4.8.2 , because we don't have any customs roms or full modded themes to flash through recovery, we will go with "Superuser mod" ! ;- ) I tried last night on my Z3 and it worked perfectly !
If you are not sure of what you are doing; don't go further !! You alone will be responsable in case of problems with your phone ! And above all , remember to make a backup before any manipulations !! I'm not the author of this theme, i'm just sharing this beautiful theme to the Z3 community.
Pre-requisite :
- D6603 Model (If someone can try on other models and tell me if it's working)
- be on firmware 23.0.A.2.93 / 105 (Not tested yet on latest .77 firmware but should works too as it's still android 4.4.4)
- Unlocked bootloader
- Rooted
- Xposed installed ( Link : http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer)
- Serajr module installed (v3.3) and "Superuser mod' activated (Link : http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.serajr.xperia.xposed.kk)
Download link :
Update V9.2:
- Added Support for stock applications "download"
- Added Support for clock widget
- Added, As an experiment, some animated icons (missed call, sms, notification of charging, the charging indicator (lightning)
This is blue version: SamSonya-blue-v9.2.apk : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/af8dee9896cd/SamSonya-blue-v9.2.apk
This is blue version, with "Xperia" nav bar: SamSonya-blue-v9.2-Xperia.apk : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/76ed5e1101af/SamSonya-blue-v9.2-Xperia.apk
This is blue version, with "Sony" nav bar: SamSonya-blue-v9.2-Sony.apk : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/d442c9349845/SamSonya-blue-v9.2-Sony.apk
And this redyellow version, with "Sony" nav bar: SamSonya-redyellow-v9.2-Sony.apk : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/95be99865665/SamSonya-redyellow-v9.2-Sony.apk
Installation :
Once you have completed all the prerequisites , install the previously downloaded theme , then go to Settings / Personalization / Themes and choose and apply the theme "SamSonya" .
After you apply this theme, remember to restart your Z3 for all the changes to applies
And here you are with a Xperia Z3 better customized than with official themes for Sony ...
PS 1 : Go to Settings/Input and Language/Xperia Keyboard settings/Skins and choose the "black Skin", it will be fully themed ! thanks @runels !
PS 2: Feel free to play with the settings of the Serajr application to modified even more your phone ! For example, go to Serajr app, then go to System UI, activate it, scroll down a little, check thefollowing boxes :

Are you trying on Odex?
Basiacally its developed for ZL/Z and should change about 90-95% of system interface. On another models superusermod will be required. Tested and fully adapted for: ZL, Z, ZR, Z1, SP, M2Dual, Z2.
Xperia Z2 (with latest 4.4.4) and Z3 are not fully adapted jet. (dialwindow and may be something else)
This variant of theme is for 4.3-4.4.x roms with root, deodex, blackthemed.
Up to now there are 5 variants for blackthemed roms and 3 variants for light.
Full list of changing items you can see while theme applying.
Sorry for english.
I'm still odex, i try to flash the de-odexed firmware .93 on my phone but when i reboot my phone just messed up, i try several times but no luck... So for now, i keep it that way.
I know that Xperia Z3 wasn't include in the model phone list compatible for this theme, but i thought i might give a shot, and even if all the system are not themed for now, it's quite a start and most importantly, it doesn't messed up the phone, so that's a good thing ! I mean no FC or whatsoever...
Maybe if someone have enough knowledge to adapt this theme for our Z3, it will be great !
And by the way, i love the blue keyboard on your screenshot ! Wish i have it on my Z3... That's why we need to get this theme on our Z3.. I'm starting to think that rom custom development will never comes out for our precious...
I think the best would be to take black theme for Z2 as a base, as the system it's almost similar with Z3...
I`m the author of this theme.
Ab keybord: check keyboard skin settings. Now you are using 2-d skin, try 3-d (dark) variant. It should be fully colored by Theme.
Sorry but what is "ab keyboard" ? Can you provide me a link ? That would be easier.

The theme isnt contain 3d party aplications, all changes only in system.
Icons you can find inside theme at the folder "assets"
Do you think that we can manually replace the stock icons by those from your themes ?
EDIT : Nevermind.. I tried to replace "Conversation.apk and¨Phonebook.apk" and it didn't worked as i expected
Would it be possible for you @runels just to take a look to help us to make this theme fully or as least a little more compatible for our Z3 that it is actually ? I can be your tester, and i can provide you the files you need
Even a donation from me is possible if necessary
Why not? If you have some experience on it.
Adaptation to Z3
1- need root, deodex, superusermod and mostly preferable blackthemed phone interface. In this case you should see maximum changes. I think only incall window isnt adapted to Z3. All other items should work perfectly.
2-send me max. number of screenshots where something isnt changing.
Only after this I will see the variants.
Well i'm not a noob, far from it, but i never developped anything, but i like to test it on my phone !!
This theme is update to v8.4.3
Sent from my D6502 using XDA Free mobile app
Yes i know, i have to update the OP.
I already installed it and sadly, it doesn"t change anything... It's exactly themed like the v8.4.2
Any icons are changed...and the blackground of settings, phonebook and messages is (sorry to say this, as i respect the developper of this theme) quite ugly. Maybe it's because it's not fully compatible for our Z3 yet that it looks like that but i hope someone will change it very soon !
I blakthemed the phone isn't possible yet without Custom Rom like "Criskelo Rom", or maybe by modding the system framework.apk
First of all, you need to read the Theme changelog. Thats why you cant find changes. All current versions and changelog: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=436246&view=findpost&p=28412348 (sorry, but only in russian for the moment)
Current verson 8.5 (for blackthemed)
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/fa812e464c13/SamSonya-blue-v8.5Xperia.apk
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/2266dcc4c4ca/SamSonya-blue-v8.5.apk
Thanks for your answer
But what the difference between those 2 links you just provide ? For me, it looks like these 2 themes are the same.
Maybe you can help me @runels, i'm not deodexed right now cause i didn't succeed to get the deodexed .93fw working on my Z3... If i was deodexed, do you think that the theme will worked better ? I mean, myabe more stuff will be themed ?
Or do i have to get absolutely Blackthemed settings framework/Custom rom for the theme to be successfully working ?

Let me have a guess...
Android v 4.2.2
Based on Xperia v2 ROM ( from the A919 Tool app icon and the normal nav bar icons in screenshot no. 2, and also the background in screenshot no. 1 where a message is seen saying that " Actually I was bored with Xperia v2 ROM so I made this ROM. " )
Changed Framework apk and systemui apk
Added Samsung Apps like the launcher and calendar, etc.
Updated GmsCore.apk (or Google Play Services to be simple)
Did not edit and/or change the data folder
Followed any MTK porting guide
Did a quick port today ( from the date and time in the screenshots )
Better RAM management -- Tweaked minfree values would be my guess
Did not change the Flashlight app (TinnoLED.apk)
Brighter Flashlight -- Not as easy as he hoped. He would need some redirection of app processing power to the flashlight app to increase its importance, and thereby increase the flashlight brightness. I'm guessing he hasn't done that, so you'd better remove that line.
Did not change the default time zone in build.prop settings (It is set to phillipines time. )
Neat. Good attempt.
Bugs :
Transparent Status Bar
From the screenshots, it is apparent that the Status Bar isn't transparent. You mean that the background of the Notifications panel is transparent. Status Bar transparency refers to the status bar having the colour of the app's upper part. Like in the first screenshot, the status bar (the part with the battery charging info, network signal info, clock, etc.) should have the colour of the app. (like its background should have whatsapp's green colour while running whatsapp)
But, that is more of a misconception than a bug.
Here is a bug which he cannot fix.
3g support on both SIMs.
For that, you need hardware support. It is wrongly mentioned in the Xperia ROM v2 too. I have tried and tested that in almost all other ROMs like MIUI v5, Xperia ROM v2, Stock ROM, etc. and it all comes down to the same thing. YOU NEED HARDWARE SUPPORT FOR 3G IN BOTH SIMS.
A piece of advice : Do not bet that there won't be an bugs at all. Each and every ROM might have a bug that the developer might have overlooked.
Here are some things your friend might have done or should do if he hasn't done yet.
Changing the build.prop setting of ro.product.**** to that of Karbonn's from MyPhone Agua Cyclone ( Xperia ROM v2 was built on that phone's ROM )
Add Material Design Apps from Apkmirror like Gmail 5.0, Maps, etc.
Try porting Kitkat ROMs to Jelly Bean based devices by modifying the installation procedure to include the priv-app folder
Try porting CyanogenMod to this device
Help me in porting Carbon ROM and/or CyanogenMod 12 to this device.
Mention how he got the updater script to work properly and install the ROM perfectly in TWRP and Philz Recovery
Sign the ROM using ZipSigner app and then upload it.
Add more features to it
Here are a few suggestions :
Update the version of SuperSU and then install it.
Make the Xposed Framework built-in. ( Not to be installed manually after installing the ROM )
Pre-install GravityBox or XBlast tools.
Odex the apps folder for better RAM usage
Increase the wifi supplicant scan interval
Throw in some paid apps for free.
Increase the net buffer size
Add the X-Reality engine
ZipAlign all apks.
Add some more fonts ( other than Choco cookie )
Add more sounds for ringtones, audio, etc.
Mention all these to him, and if possible, ask him whether he could help me to develop other ROMs for this device.
BRO thanks for your opinions and thought

Yeah, I just thought I should type out my thoughts about the ROM and then wait and see your reply. Sorry for that, though.

You used some MTK porting guide, didn't you ?
Another thing, what do you mean by Material L ? Do you mean to say that you have ported an Android L ROM to this phone ?
I think you have just ported some ROM with just the Material Design UI, as seen in the screenshots (They do not have the Android L Navigation Bar Buttons. )
You could try replacing the permissions in that, as most likely, that would be the root cause of many such errors. A permission file related to the camera settings could be improperly coded, and/or might have a bad file, either corrupt or something like that.
I just needed this tiny favour from you of creating a proper, working update-binary and updater-script inside a META-INF folder which can be used for all my ROMs. If that is over, you'll be seeing those ROMs on XDA quite soon.
Another thing. In the CyanogenMod 12 Lollipop ROM which I am porting, the apps folder has individual folders for each app. So, the flashlight app is in system/app/flashlight/flashlight.apk . Could that be the cause of the ROM not installing properly ? I'm going mad over that as that was the first time I have seen any ROM with apps grouped like that.
Thanks in advance for your contribution.
tnx for posting.. try to port this rom..we r same spec of ur device..

The ROM is great!!!.Have not found the bug till now.No at least in the last 24 hrs.Really a very good effort.I in fact don't really like touchwiz, but this COOL!!!.I guess Samsung has improved touch wiz, because the old one sucked!!
Thanks anyways.Hope to expect more ROMs from you in the future!!!
