It is synched directly with https://android.googlesource.com/ there has been 3 new tags added this evening
* [new tag] android-5.0.0_r3 -> android-5.0.0_r3 "hammerhead" for Nexus 5 (GSM/LTE) 5.0 (LRX21O)
* [new tag] android-5.0.0_r4 -> android-5.0.0_r4 "razor" for Nexus 7 [2013] (Wi-Fi) 5.0 (LRX21P)
* [new tag] android-5.0.0_r5 -> android-5.0.0_r5 "volantis" for Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi) 5.0 (LRX21Q)
They are the same, the thing that differentiates them is the vendor binaries, as I have included the binaries for LRX21O Nexus 5 when compiling and I lunched aosp_hammerhead-userdebug it builds with the LRX21Q tag. The factory images come with the binary files included in the image, when compiling AOSP they dont.
Thanks for the update. Are there flashable zips for new bootloader and radio?

Good question... About bootloader and radio. Did you find them? Especially bootloader flashable?

So, if I wanted pure up to date AOSP, with all the new bug fixes found in the system image, for the NEXUS 5, I can use this with gapps? I flashed the stock image but I miss Browser and MMS and some of the other features of pure AOSP. I basically want the developer preview with bug fixes. Thanks.

Pretty much this is pure AOSP flash with Gapps and you'll still have AOSP Browser/MMS plus Gapps
Downloading right now... Does it have ambient light enabled? Thank for your work!

hmmm let me see what else is out there.
Do I need to go back to KitKat or the developer preview with the older radio before flashing this? Or can I go from 5.0 image to this rom direct? I've been reading around that data is messed up if one goes backwards. Thanks.
Personally I went from the 5.0 release to this without any problem. I'm sure the issues with sdcard is a result of not wiping sdcard before flashing 5.0 when coming from kitkat.

Hi guys.
What version of GAPPS do you use for this ROM?
Installed the 3.0 build, everything is good no problems so far but i have some glitches with the animations (loading circle in playstore, battery charging animations), other then that, liquidsmooth .
First of all this is a very good rom :good:. I can say it is stable(no reboots), powerful (12085 with antutu), fresh(4.4.2) and battery life is good also. thank you so much for your good work @johnnyslt.
here is some the minor bugs I found if that helps:
- Returning home ( Google Launcher ) gives the music to the speakers even though earphones plugged in ( I think this is on Gapps and Google Launcher's speaking back ability. but turning it down from options didnt work )
- Loading Circle animation is having seizure everywhere everytime (flickering)
some minor liquidsmooth extensions like multiscreen didnt work or I couldnt make it work I didnt try so hard tho

i am using the GAPPS from the below link and they are working fine on our device
http://goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps/4.4.2
Some movies not working in MXPlayer, MXPlayer Pro and BSPlayer stops everytimes. I tried in your roms cm-10, cm-11 and liquidsmooth 3. What is the problem?
Hi there.
I am experiencing some issues with the battery: I have percentage drops of 3-4-5% especialy when I use the phone(just opening calendar app or calculator).
And something strange to mention: 4ext recovery is running in "safe mode" and after wipeing cache problem still remains.
Does this affect the battery life?
10x

Hi
I flashed this rom 2 days ago and it went good with latest recovery.
2 things for me: I couldn't find button to clean recent apps, I had remove them one by one, that's a little bit annoying, second: where is no option to answer call with home button - I got used to it.
Thanks for your awesome work Johnny.
I'm currently on your CM11.
I have been on liquid 4.3.1 for 2 months and it is awesome rom.
I hope You can implement those 2 things I have mentioned.
Thanks again.

Try the app OmniSwitch. Its a task killer
Thanks for this, just flashed this ROM and I keep getting Setup Wizard force closes and AOSP Keyboard, so basically, im stuck in a black screen. although I can see status bar. Anyone else have that?
Edit: reflashed 3 times and now its working. Issue now is Messages cant be sent. Smooth ROM

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system me and @-+BB+- added some changes from CyanogenMod. We added also some non-AOSP features like init.d support, @alucard_24 kernel for better performance and energy saving, STweaks for advanced kernel settings and support for Over-The-Air updates through a dedicated app (OTA Updates). Maybe something else from us might be added, but please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.

Reboot in TWRP Recovery
Wipe /cache and dalvik-cache
Select "Install zip from SDCard"
Choose AOSP zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Reboot system
We don't have a backup/restore GApps script yet. When you update /system is formatted, so you need to reflash GApps package too. In case you don't do it, Google Apps will fail in endless force closes after boot.
First boot after install/update takes a while, wait at least 5 minutes for it to boot.
To convert cache, data and system partitions to F2FS look in post below.

Downgrade bootloader to 4.4.2
This will fix the problem with the sound (crackling) on my firmwares in the transition from the official 5.1.1 firmware.
Attention! I do not take any responsibility for possible negative consequences.
1) Make a backup copy of all data (including sections EFS, Modem, Preload)
2) Copy backup on PC
3) Download Odin 3.10 and Bootloader (You must rename the file, so extension was .tar or .tar.md5. For example - BL_P601XXUCOF1_CL5054848_QB5172195_REV00_user_low_ship.tar)
4) Run "download" tablet mode.
5) Connect tablet to PC
6) Run Odin
7) In the BL (bootloader) field, insert file BL_P601XXUCOF1_CL5054848_QB5172195_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
8) Start.... The bootloader will be installed and the tablet reboots.
9) You can go to TWRP and restore the backup (It is enough to restore the data and /data partition).
10) Installing firmware and OpenGapps-nano.
P.S. If you have not switched on my firmware (use stock 5.1.1 firmware), it is recommended to remove all of the data (not to restore /data partition)
Great news ShevT... Thanks a million!

Good job!
I hesitate to mention the "no placeholder" rule, especially to a dev who do original work, but...
Anyway hope to see a release soon, keep up the good work!
