[Q] [HELP] Xposed and Gravitybox on LG Optimus L70: Certain settings broken - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all,
I just downloaded Xposed and Gravitybox on my LG Optimus L70 (4.4.2) phone with Google Now Launcher. I tried to enable the Gravitybox Lock Screen and a few other features, but after rebooting a few times and uninstalling/reinstalling, they don't seem to work. Do these programs not work for the L70 and if not, what are good substitutes?

Hey,
The Xposed General and Xposed Framework Modules are not the correct section for module related questions/requests (module specific support should go in the module's thread, not as a new thread). Please read the guidelines of these section, as well as the forum rules.
Try posting your question in the GravityBox thread instead, assuming you're running a compatible ROM (read the first post in the GravityBox thread). If you're looking for alternatives instead, try asking here.
Thanks,

Custom Rom (SlimBean) + Xposed?

hi people,
i have a quick question..i've been reading into the xposed framework lately and the possibilities it gives you..i like some stuff it can do for you but i'm wondering if it's ok to use xposed along with a custom rom..i couldn't find any answers regarding this topic
i'm running the latest stable of slimbean and i'd like to try it out..could you guys give me your opinion
btw. if it's not ok to have a custom rom along with xposed, is touchwiz that far customizable with xposed so that it doesnt look like touchwiz anymore
i apologize if that question has already been asked..and for my english
thx

Z5C, does Xposed work?

I went almost crazy to root, and now I want to install Xposed. I tried different frameworks but they all makes the device show the lockscreen an then reboot after 15 seconds or so.
I looked everywhere I could, and I found that rovo89 sustains he's unable to make Xposed work because he can't do a deodex on service.odex (see https://github.com/rovo89/Xposed/issues/64) BUT AndroPlus lists the Z5C as working with broken camera in his guide on repairing the camera problem (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/z4-z5-z5c-fix-camera-fc-installing-t3246962).
I don't know who to trust, and I'd like to ask directly to AndroPlus in his thread, but XDA prevents me posting there (thanks XDA, I'm now opening a silly thread instead of being useful), so the question is:
Is there an Xposed framework version that works on the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact?
Don't post the same thing twice.
Try reading the main Xposed announcement thread and then the discussion thread relating to your Android version.
This sub forum is for modules, not for install questions. If you really can't find any information after reading those threads and doing a few forum searches, then ask in the the parent forum "Xposed General", not here.
Thanks for clarifying, I made confusion. I'll be more mindful.

Here on XDA we all know Xposed works mate, no need to create a separate topic for that. Elsewhere can't say though I have heard visiting certain social chat section might make your phone's bootloader locked, and you might not be able to root it at all. It is the "especial social group firmware" released by Sammy, not available for us.
ROFL
and xposed works on all available roms for 910 G 6.0.1
Yeah close the thread no need to open another one.
Sent from my SM-N910C using XDA-Developers mobile app
ok guys

Flashed TWRP, Magisk Latest Alpha (But still some banking apps not working) - Full details here

I'm using a POCO F1 device and I recently flashed it with TWRP as recovery and have installed the Canary build of Magisk (Alpha) with TWRP.
I can confirm, the device is rooted, and using zygisk, i have hide all banking apps, google apps(Playstore, Play Services, App Store, etc).
Many banking apps are working For ex:
1. ICICI Banking apps
2. Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.
But some apps like
1. SBI Yono Lite
2. IndOASIS
are not working, even after hiding the apps vie "DenyList", I have even made my app hide. Still, it was somehow got detected.
(Initially, GooglePay was not working, so installed "Riru, Riru - Enhanced mode for Magisk Hide" and due to this, i have to disable "Zygisk" and now all banking apps which i mentioned above worked, but still the same apps like SBI Yono Lite, IndOASIS is not working and it is detecting the root.)
So according to these forums, I tested it with RootbeerFresh, and it says ROOTED. I'm attaching my logs in this thread, Leets's give it a try.
