LTE config update - LG G2 Mini

Today my mini got an update for "LTE Config". It said that now my phone will support 4g lte networks (which is awesome!)
I noticed LTE logos under cover before, and wondered why the phone doesnt actually have it..
I had to activate the new parameter in the settings under mobile data tab
Then I noticed 4g logo appeared when I roamed the city
Thoughts?
Thumbs up for LG, looking forward for lollipop update in 2015

Sent from my LG-D620 using XDA Free mobile app

how did you make such 5.0 android look? is it nova launcher , xposed, and g2 tweaks ? or some other kind of magic

I have d620k but there is no selection for lte. It says on back cover lte but cant see on moblie networks. How did you got and what model do you have?

My model is LG-D620r (in the settings)
The launcher is Apex with Xposed G2 Tweaks, enabled stock kitkat statusbar, custom navigation buttons and custom app icons.
I got Lollipop icons from deviantart. Navigation buttons from XDA forums (had to modify a bit to look nice.)

Can u upload the Navigation buttons images? thanks !
I tried chaning the nav bar images on the g2 xposed app but it does nothing.. i put images and it doesnt change, else i tried change menu for recents and doesnt work, its only me? Where do u changed them?
PS: sry, for my bad english XD

[MOD][XPOSED] Smart Alarm Icon [1.2][HTC/Samsung 4.0.3+]

New Xposed Mod: Smart Alarm Icon
This mod will change the alarm icon in status bar to be only displayed for a configurable time before alarm will go off. This for example will remove the icon on Friday and Saturday if the alarm is scheduled for working days only. The threshold for when the icon gets shown is configurable via UI.
=> This makes the alarm icon more valuable again, since if shown permanently one gets used to it quite fast.
Limitations
Works on HTC and Samsung stock-based ROMs version 4.0.3 and higher (permanently hides the icon on other devices)
You MUST accept that you use any modification at your own risk
If you want to try it, follow these steps:
If not done yet or included in your custom ROM, install the Xposed framework as described in this thread (requires root)
Install the attached APK and activate the module in the Xposed installer (this is also described in the framework thread)
Reboot
To change settings, tap on the module in Xposed installer
ChangeLog
Code:
[B]1.2[/B]
- Samsung ROMs now fully supported
[B]1.1[/B] (392 dloads)
- Preferences now include "show never" (slider left) and "show always" (slider right)
- Removed "active" checkbox (now configured with slider)
[B]1.0[/B] (86 dloads)
- Initial release
Hope you enjoy and let me know. Great thanks go to rovo89 for this fabulous framework.
My Other Xposed Mods
All HTC and Samsung ROMs Android 4.0.3 and above

All HTC Sense 5 ROMs

Custom Status Bar Opacity

Glad to hear. May I ask which phone and ROM you're running exactly?

Probably yes. I don't have my hands on any AT&T/Rogers ROM, on which NFC icon it is reported to show up. Furthermore, I'm not using NFC at all, so I'm afraid it makes no sense for me modding this. I suggest keeping an eye on trixx's TrickDroid thread, his ROM at least supports AT&T models - maybe he's willing to include this at some point

Dev edition, stock but rooted. With the Xposed framework now, I find I can get the tweaks/mods I want without even needing a different ROM.
1.29 rogers stock Rom here and everything is perfect. Xposed is so good it's almost sexual...

Cool thanks man being waiting for someone to get rid of that works great
Thanks, working fine on TrickDroid 5.3.0
Thanks!
Dude. I didn't bother looking around to see if anybody had tried this on a GS3 (yeah I know wrong thread) but this is awesome. I absolutely HATE the stupid icon up there all frackin day when my alarm isn't until the morning. So far works great on my sprint GS3. Thanks!
Beautiful.

Has work great on my note 2, but really it should work on any device as long as you have xposed installed. Would be great to hide other icons as well.

Works fine here too. Thanks!
it works partially for me on my note 2.
hiding permanently works.
but if I set the icon to be visible again it stays hidden.
is there a delay in this, or is it a bug?
it's not a disaster if it's a bug though, I wanted the icon gone permanently anyway.

Thanks for your feedback. I updated to v1.2, which fully support Samsung ROMs now. v1.1 had the limitation that threshold was only working on HTC ROMs. On none-HTC/Samsung ROMs it will keep on hiding the icon permanently.
it's working perfectly now.
I have been searching high and low to get rid of that icon on JB. Thank you for freeing up some space on my status bar!
Tested on Nexus 4 and it works perfectly, Running vanilla Android 4.2.2, so it's not just limited to Samsung/HTC roms it seems.:good:

Thank you for this information. Wondering which clock app is installed / comes shipped on your device? Since only HTC and Samsung alarm settings and changes are handled, it should only hide (not auto-show) the icon on vanilla ROMs.

Floating window- moveable/interact/multiple

Hello all.
Not sure if any body knows of this or if anyone has been able to do it. If this is known knowledge then forgive me, but to me is new.
I stumbled upon this completely accidentally and still not completely sure how I did it. On stock room, rooted.
I have xhalofloatingwindow installed, an xposed module. This allows floating windows for app but one cannot interact with the window.
I then was trying out another app called slide launcher available on the market. It allows a quick launching of apps by sliding up from the home button, and up pops a list of pre selected apps. When selecting apps to launch, slide launcher gives an option for floating window which I enabled. The description of the app says it only work with PA rom. But guess what, it worked on my stock rom. And I am able to launch not one floating window but multiple. All movable and can interact.
The size of the floating window can be resized via the xhalofloatingwindow module setting.
See the screen shots

Switching network 2G/3G/LTE only

Hi, any apk to switch network 2G only?
I know the code *#*#4636#*#*
But i would like to get an APK.
Thanks..
HTC One AT&T KitKat rooted
If you are familiar with xposed and sense 5 toolkit you can use them to toggle network modes from the quick settings. Ok not sure if sense 5 toolkit has it or not since I was thinking gravity box for GPE. But sense 5 toolkit might be one option. There's really no app that does it as it'd have to access the settings.
Ok maybe there is, check the play store. Sorry I'm jumping around in my response.

Hey tiny, did't solve my problem yet, but sense toolbox it an EXCELLENT tool, thanks.
Gravitybox has that option... Check attachements "NETWORK MODE"

Ok solved:
Long press screen -> shortcuts -> Gravitybox Actions.
Thanks TopoX84.!

Firstly, i say 4.3 plus because it works on 4.4 but not 4.2
I havent actually tested in 4.3, so please tell me if it actually works
This mod will allow you change whether the signal cluster in statusbar says "4g" or "LTE" on the fly
Enjoy!
Download on Xposed Repo
Looks good. Maybe add an "h" or "4G" setting too!

There is a configuration option within android
That configuration decided 4g or lte
The maker of your ROM decides which one
This mod changes that configuration
Therefore I can't add H or 5g or any of that, unless I make a different module

I am a little confused by the description.
Does it mean that it will then switch between saying what the connection actually is (4G or LTE), instead of saying both at the same time as it does now (4G/LTE)? So like if it's a 4G connection, it will ONLY say "4G” and if it's an LTE connection, it will say "LTE" and it can switch what it says in real time, as the type of connection (4G or LTE) switches?
Or does it mean something else?
I apologize if my question is a dumb one and thank you for your time.

Themer App FINALLY *Officially Compatible* Aug 27 2014

I thought I'd share with everyone that the app/home replacement named THEMER is finally LG G3 Compatible as of today.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycolorscreen.themer&hl=en
If you aren't familiar, all you do is install the app, chose from one of over a hundred themes you like, and apply it. Widgets, backgrounds, everything on yours will look just like the pictures in the app gallery.
I've been using it for quite some time on my Nexus 5, and was happy to find out it worked fine on the G3 via restore from TIBU when I upgraded.
Doesn't seem to be working for me, says themer is not detecting a supported resolution

If you have modified your dpi or the size of your navigation bar it'll throw that error. They need to be set to stock.

Do know you what the stock nav bar height is by any chance?
I do not, but if you changed it using g3 tweaks box you can just turn that section of the tweakbox off and go back to stock.
You might need to do a quick search of all of the G3 forums to find the correct answer
Here's some info about DPI
http://forum.xda-developers.com/themer/general/best-dpi-to-themer-t2842008
And here's their sub forum here.

Lastly, this thread has some tips on how you can force compatibility through DPI and other tricks.
