Hello everybody, after update Android 4.4.4, when i unplug the charger water resistance notification doesn't appear. I tried in apps erase data of the App "Smart connection" But don't work....
Someone has the same problem? Before the update worked fine. Regards!
Go to setting -> apps -> find smart connect -> check if "show notifications" is enabled
I can`t find any other way... Maybe Sony removed that warning.
Is enabled correctly........
someone in 4.4.4 can try this? Thanks in advance
EDIT: SOLVED in 4.4.4 the notification doesn't appear

andftp
astro

I was working ok. Last night i left my phone charging and went to sleep. Then, this morning i started to use the phone and found out that the volume on the speaker was very low despite being at maxium in the handset configuration settings. And its not on silent mode.
Also when in a call, i put the speaker and i cant hear anything.
Also i restored the phone to factory defaults, soft and hard reset.
The phone didnt get wet neither was dropped....so i wonder what can be wrong!!!!!
please help me, i really love this phone....
Thank you in advance
Fernando
Ok, some additional info:
I dont know if i did in fact a hard reset, i have tried this:
1. Menu -> Settings -> Privacy -> Factory Reset.
2. Pressed the following code 3845#*500# shows LG Hidden Menu. Then the option Factory Reset -> Factory Reset.
3. Started the phone holding: Home+On/Off+VolumeDown.
However none of those procedures worked. I think its a hardware problem, however, i found something weird. When accessing the hidden menu using the option 2 (3845#*500#).
You select Device Test -> Sound Test -> Audio CAL Tool -> Sound Calibration
Does anyone knows how this tool works??
Thank you again in advance.
i m facing same issue .
i have flashed various stock roms but problem persists. i think its an hardware issue .
plz help anyone .
I just clean the speaker on top with a brush and it is working fine now.

Hi guys, it's moomoomania here. I have a question whether or not it is possible to pair my HTC M9 with my Nexus 9 via bluetooth for smart lock purposes ONLY (just like if I was to have an android watch -which I don't- to bypass my lockscreen). I've looked a million places and I have yet found an answer to my question.
I don't wish to pair it so I can tether internet access to my tablet; I just want to pair my android tablet with my android phone so I don't have to wait for my phone to see my face or do my pattern code.
If anyone has any knowledge or have successfully done it, let me know and I'll give you a huge thumbs up with my butt. Thank you!
you just need to pair them via bluetooth then uncheck "internet access" in the little settings box you can open with the gear icon.

Yes but everytime I do that, I am not able to connect it together. When I go into the Smart Lock settings, and try to apply my Nexus 9 as a trusted device for my M9, it always says "not connected" (at the "Choose device" tab). Do you have this problem or have successfully connected your tablet with your phone without a hitch?
EDIT: If I click the little smart lock notification, it says "Add trusted device? Connect your M9 to keep your phone unlocked". There is only a cancel button.

actually I have the same problem. :') it's been a problem since I updated my phone to lollipop, it was fine before. I think it's probably an AOSP bug since nothing I've ever done has been able to fix it. I wish I had more to add, maybe someone else can chime in.
Somehow all of my headsets are not recognized by my Z5C.
Sound keeps on coming out of the speakers.
Believe there were similar issues on previous Xperias.
Cleared Smart Connect data, etc.
Does anyone know the solution to this issue as it is software related?
Thanks!
Hello! I have experienced the same issue, here's the steps what fixed it for me:
1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All
2. Scroll down until you find Smart Connect
3. Disable it
4. Reboot device
After doing that I have had no problems with the audio coming from the speakers. Let me know if it works for you.
No luck...

Still haven't found a solution...
Hi Guys,
i have a elephone p9000E...watch out the roms of p9000 (without E) will not working on this model. By needroom you can find some roms, if you need, and they are working 100%
I have a question, is there a way to improve the battery performance? i meand without grenify and that kind of apps?
Also a way to get notifications? this phone has no led notifications so it would be fine to could see something on the screen when you get a whatsapp message or email.
Thanks.

Is your handset branded as a P9000E in the "About Phone" section? Does it have QI/wireless charging and NFC?

In model it is only P9000 but in buld number see it is E
Hi,
No is branded as P9000 but I bought it as a P9000E.
Stock rom offline P9000 works but no fingerprint.
I don t have wireless charge and NFC. Even any led notification.
Same as my handset. I think I got ripped off, as the qi charging was the main reason I went with this handset.
New P9000E
I have a brand new P9000E direct from the Elephone Aliexpress shop (delivered to UK).
It's a stock rom and updated as soon as it booted to;
Elephone_P9000_E_20170401
It also has P9000 as the model and also has a working fingerprint scanner.
Anyone need any info from it ?
My only issue is the default browser...... when did Android force the default browser to need access to every permission? Am I missing something.

Does yours have QI/wireless charging?
Do you have a notification LED for ANYTHING?
The default browser sucked hard. I just installed chrome....
So this is the item in their shop.

-Does yours have QI/wireless charging?
I don't think it can do wireless charging. Don't have a charger to test.
Certainly doesn't mention it anywhere in the docs/specs.
-Do you have a notification LED for ANYTHING?
No LEDs at all as far as I can see, although the touch button at the bottom might possibly have some form of led in it.
I guess it's possible this android build doesn't have it activated.
-The default browser sucked hard. I just installed chrome....
Completely agree. I've seen the same issue on a lot of chinese android 6. And yet Samsung don't enforce any permissions on the default browser. Just makes me suspicious about why they would do this.
- Also no factory reset from the Factory Mode.... only auto test/test report/gps/version
Overall I think the phone is brilliant but maybe there are some updates to come.
Since the Pie update if I have bluetooth on and connected, my s9+ has no notifications sound. It will vibrate but no sound. I have checked what I think it could be and tried the device in safe mode to eliminate an app issue. Seems Pie has a notification bug. How do I submit issue to Google or get help?
Any ideas on the issue?
So I did a network settings reset on the device. Seems to have fixed the issue.

I have the same issue on Samsung S9 with Pie.
Because of your post I reset my network settings but the issue is still there. (all the wifi and Blutooth settings are gone).
So, that doesn't seem to fix it.
You just need to reconnect to your wifi and Bluetooth connections. Mine worked until I restarted the S9 back to no notification sound.
Same problem here. If my bluetooth device is connected, but not in my ear, I don't hear the regular notification sound as I did before the upgrade to Pie.

Sorry, but in my eyes that is not a fix if it doesn't survive a reboot.
It's probably a workaround hack with nasty side effects of loosing all connection info.
Someone tried with a factory reset? I'm thinking about doing it, but if someone did it and it did not work...

I have done the factory reset and nothing has been changed, still same issue
I believe Samsung can solve this issue, but as usual they are lazy as their monthly update
Notification Problems in Android 9.0
I don't know whether this is the correct forum, but I am having problems with repeating notifications that worked perfectly well in 8.0 before the update.
I use an app "Prof Reminder or Missed Call Reminder" that allows repeating notifications with a specified notification sound and repeat period.
With this app, I have been unable to get repeat notifications with WhatsApp, the first comes through, but then after nothing (it seems the signal is dismissed).
When using BlueMail (email app) repeat notifications work perfectly.
Have checked app the settings, permissions etc., and everything looks correct, been through it so many times and double checked everything.
Cannot understand why one app works perfectly, yet another will not work!
Would appreciate any advice or experience, if this is the wrong forum please let me know.
Were are the Notification being stored since Pie?
It looks like to me they are in the system and not reachable unless rooted. Since Pie, I've lost needed sounds that no longer are available.
Is there a way to add back some of the lost sounds that existed prior to Pie?
Notifications for indiviual apps do not sound. I have an app sound for messages but it does not work nor do anyother app sounds work even the Settings Sound does not sound for any app that is requestiing an individual sound. Is this just mine or are others having the same problem???
My notification sound is reset to zero about every day or other day since the upgrade to Pie (no bluetooth involved). No idea what causes this but I am pretty sure it's up to Samsung to fix.
It's occurring on Pie based ROM's. Verified in LineageOS 16 & crDroid 5.4. When connected to Bluetooth , phone is not ringing in speaker but vibrates. So you'll miss calls if you not wearing the Bluetooth headset.
Reported at https://github.com/crdroidandroid/android_frameworks_base/issues/245 , but they mentioned this needs to fixed by core team.
