Gonna try now. Does NFC work? Bluetooth? Video recording? With every ROM I've tried at least one doesn't work.

If people are going to share their builds or any rom in that case, they should really test it on their device before sharing it to the public.

Hi guys,
I compiled a kernel from the SM-P600 Lollipop sources for my personal use and thought I'd share, since there doesn't seem to be much kernel dev going on here. I want to make it clear that I'm not a programmer or developer, I just like to tinker.

Basic Troubleshooting
If sdcard/xluco_kernel/logs.txt doesn't show xboot.sh as being run, please run /sbin/xboot.sh manually! - very important for stability and will solve 99% of problems!
More:
If you'r WiFi stops working, or is forgetting passwords:
Edit your build.prop in: /system (you'll need to mount as R/W)
Find the line that says: ro.securestorage.support=true and change it to false.
If you're having FC issues, try removing all Samsung's KNOX apps, and change the following in build.prop
ro.config.tima=1 to 0
ro.config.knox=1 to 0
Hi,
Thanks for the kernel @xluco
I see you put this as 'Alpha' so is experimental or is it stable enough for flashing?
awesome
A lot of good stuff already, thanks! I'll be flashing shortly and post anything of interest.

Hi, it's stable enough to flash. I won't release anything for download until I've been running it for a day or two on my own tablet. I just put 'alpha' because there aren't too many major changes from stock. I want to have it upstream to linux 3.4.89+ before I tag it v1.0.
hope that helps

Usually, this means you need to edit the build.prop. Change ro.securestorage.support from "true" to "false" (may not be the exact wording, but close enough to get you there).
EDIT: It's also in the OP. I guess I missed it.
Yeah running my rom so should have it ?

in your changelog it says " Pen Inserted = digitizer off, even when not in battery saving mode "
does that mean you must use the pen to even use the device? i read that as when the pen is inside the device/stored then the digitizer is turned off so no touch input. im just curious.
i dont really have a interest in flashing as it hasnt really givin me a reason too take the risk yet as not enough changes but i still appreciate the work and hope for future releases.
and thanks for sharing
Can somebody tell me what pros a custom kernel has?
I don't know what the features in OP mean
Might of found another bug. Cant seem to rotate the screen 180 degrees. I had also just installed wanam xposed so it could an option i ticked in there. Maybe someone could check if 180 degree rotation still works after installing this rom.
So after long wait for new build (latest official is from 20150619), I make own build - everyone can get latest from google drive.
In next 24hrs I make screenshots and update what work OK or what not working
I next build I prepare own OTA for faster and better update and few things from AOSPA-L gerrit
Will be add from other rom - blacklist (as first), wifi priority,

cr3pt, does your ROM allow the changing of the pull down notification? I truly enjoy AOSPA-L, but being right handed , I swipe down and also open to the tiles screen. Does your ROM allow the changing of this to the left or not at all? Thanks.

Running great as mentioned. I can only think.of two features that I assume people would like to see while lurking the other threads and Google+; to be able to add tiles and weather displayed in the quick settings pulldown.
As always, thanks for the time you put into this for us.
Looking forward to the next release. :good:
What custom kernels work with this ROM? For some reason I remember reading somewhere that only one does? I'll search in the meantime.
*edit:
A little more reading and figured I'd try Render Kernel. No issues so far. Camera, settings, etc, all work. Forgot how fluid PA is...been a few months

Download latest ROM build
Reboot into TWRP
Make backup (optional)

Honestly, DSP has been causing issues on so many devices. With marshmallow Omnirom (creator of DSPManager) ditched support for it and as a result it has became very unstable. Regardless though, I will be replacing DSPManager with a modified very of AudioFX by CM that will be fully compatible with the ROM

Edit: Caused by Chrome or your ROM! Try a diffrent Browser or download with the G DRIVE App
Yup
Known Problem on many AOSP ROMs. The Trick is to choose First the App Backup, then choose Set as new Device and wait ~5 seconds. Then tap Next and all should be fine like you say...

the dialer will make the call but no info for the call appears. So can't hang up or use the dial pad. Just stays on the speed dial contacts page while the call is on going. No notification for the on going call either
Mega should be good link

You made an unofficial build of a ROM which was already official for our device (which btw you don't have) , i was and still am maintaining it and you never asked for any permission whatsoever so let's not start this again on other ROM thread,i only responded to this because i know you're talking about me,if you have any problems talk to me directly,i even proved there how you lie and try to blame me(i still have those ss)so like i said before let's not get the whole thing started again.
BTW @arpit_deshpande good job on the rom and sorry for the off-topic post.

Only in version OMS then?
Or the option appears in the features but is not present in the ROM yet?
Take it easy guys, **** happens it is life, now move on, arpit you could always update and compile rom already posted by you, instead of abandoning past projects.
Could anyone of you compile chroma or turbo?
It is just a suggestion though, ?.

Yep, I'm going to do turbo, just waiting for them to rebase stuff. And Chroma can't be compiled, as it doesn't have CAF stuff which is required on our device to boot.

good rom,
No random reboot & good battery backup. But i can't switch to recent application.
How's battery life? And how's general perfomance and performance on Pokémon GO?
And I didn't find the screenshots.
Thanks
EDIT:
What's the difference between OMS and CMTE ROMs?
EDIT 2:
This ROM supports F2FS on /data and /cache?
