Looks like 3 colors available at the moment. I need rugged protection in a fairly slim package. Kickstand is a nice plus.

So... how exactly does the kickstand work? I can't see it!

The case itself doesn't come with a kickstand. The slots in the back you put a card (credit card, ID, or something like that) in there and it will prop your phone up.
The case has a small card under the plastic outer layer where it hides. It includes the actual "kickstand".
Ordered the metal slate. Hopefully it gets here before my nexus 6.
the phone is curve so in order to store a card in the back means this case is very thick

I'm hoping to see case's that have removable backs so we could switch out batteries without removing the whole case.
Does anyone know of a case maker that has this ?
I've looked around a little, but haven't seen any. I was about to ask the same thing!

How about this one:

Check out the thread about the Taurus Bumper Case.
I'm actually looking for something quite opposite, a case that replaces/integrates the battery cover to save on weight and bulk. If any one finds one, can you let me know.

This case does not have a removable battery cover, it's actually a 2 part case, a silicone cover, and then a plastic "band" on top of it.

This one allows you to remove the battery cover.
SGP Neo Hybrid Ex = removable battery cover, bumper style case.
SGP Neo Hybrid = non removable due to 1 piece silicone covering the whole back.
Case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JW7AYYE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I purchased this case from amazon. With the thought in-mind that I could create my own graphics for the frosted back. The materials for the case are as expected, and seem to have a nice quality and feel to them. The black rubberized area around the perimeter of the case doesn't seem to get in the way of any charging, headphones, or the ir blaster, everything seems to work well.
The frosted back has a noticeably different texture and hardness than the rubberized perimeter. Overall the case doesn't add much by way of bulk or size to the phone, and the ability to create your own graphics is wonderful. Great case, I'm immensely satisfied!
I've attached a number of photos showing some random designs I've created using some random stuff from google images, and attached a zip with the photoshop template to create your own. Enjoy!

Very nice. Creative.
Definitely a solid case, although I find the hard edges of the case change the feel of the phone in my hand a bit too much for preference. Makes it more angular rather than super slim and curved. That said, I may not be able to resist slapping the Supcase back on with a custom design once in a while!
Thanks for sharing the template!
I also have this case and can confirm it is great quality and feels nice in the hand. But a bit bulky for me so will try the official Quickcicle case.

Same. I mean it's a thin case, but the phone is big. I might prefer even thinner case even at the cost of don't protection. Think this case will protect well. I don't find the edges a problem.
Have my eye on oem black cover replacement case eventually
I have the supcase as well and was at first amazed by its looks and build quality but eventually let down by its ergonomics and feel in the hand. My Caseology just feels way more comfortable to use while still looking pretty good
Transmission sent from my LG G3.
what type of printer
can you tell us what type of printer you used to make those designs ? and what kind of paper ? I just ordered the case
thanks in advance:good:
I ordered the Grey/Frost Clear one from Amazon, and it looks great on my white G3. The .3mm iCarez glass screen protector fits like a glove inside the case's bumpers on the front, making the whole thing completely seamless. Once I get my wireless charging sticker (and maybe a MicroSD down the line sometime), my G3 is set to go - I am EXTREMELY pleased with this combination.

Imagine the phone being 2mm bigger in all ways except the front, with grippy rubber sides and you have this case. The shape is pretty much identical to the phone itself; same curve to the back and all.
Awesome! I also have this case and this material is very high quality. Great idea and job, congrats, using this template for made my covers... But, i tried create one template for case Spigen Ultra Hybrid and don't have success. So, are you can help-me? Ty :fingers-crossed:
Any chance you can scan the empty case and send me a Png or jpg ?
I have don't scanner, but took some pictures using ruler. Hope that helps.

mine just arrived, i bought the black/frost clear one, too.
really pleased about how it fits, how it feels, and how it looks like. the shape of the bumper sides and the lips, the micro usb and 3.5mm port cut out, everything feels great!
i'm just worried about how long the frost clear black will hold up until it went yellowish, just like any transparent materials.

Hey everyone,
Since I typically use a flip case (a regular case with a protective cover for the screen that flips open) with all the phones I've owned, I thought I'd open a thread to start a discussion about people's experiences and recommendations with flip cases for the 6T.
Share something and help someone with what product to use!

I'm currently using this one:
Foluu Compatible OnePlus 6T Case,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K2S5DFC?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Pros:
+ magnetic edge on flip cover afixes the flip cover to the back, neatly preventing flapping
+ the sides of the phone are completely covered by a transparent bumper, with cutouts only for usb, alert slider, and speakers
+ relatively screen protector friendly
Cons:
- not a smart cover
- back cover is not a single piece with the sides, adding to bulk
Again, the pro/con list reflects my personal preferences and of course, may not apply at all to you.
Orzly Wallet Flip Case looks decent enough. I am currently using the oneplus 6t flip case with card slot, and its okay. Doesnt flap much, but it does not compare to my last otterbox strada case for the iphone 8 plus. Still looking for something similar.
I've also purchased some ringke 3m card slots, both the plastic and the nylon to add to the tpu cover that was included with the phone. Although not a flipcase, the downside with not having a solid magnet or full edge protection gives higher probability of the phone landing face down when dropped.

I second the motion -- the Otterbox Strada on my Samsung S7 Edge is the gold standard for me. Most expensive case I've bought but has lasted many multiples longer than any other case. It's still a tank and still in use nearly three years later.
Closest case for OnePlus to that standard was the Tech21 flip case for my 6. Don't think they make it for the 6T though.
I'm using the flip case that I got from OnePlus when it's working fine.I've had better and I've had worse but pretty good I'm happy. No issues,, thinking about getting a OtterBox when they come out just for safety. But they're so big and bulky and ugly.,,,,,,,, I guess we'll see
I like cases.
My wife thinks that I have a fetish for phone cases.
I change them when I go out depending on what I feel like.
Here are the flip cases that I have purchased so far;
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-OnePlus...var=472229251615&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
The traditional brown leather flip case.
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-OnePlus...var=591631248320&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Dr. Who TARDIS because....every phone needs to be inside a Tardis...
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/For-OnePlus...var=572979395291&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Blue leather scroll work for when I'm feeling like Jazz.
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/PIN-1-Art-C...var=472327549790&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Old School fun right here... I have purchased so many freaking cassettes over the years.. ugh. Why not put my phone in one...
I chose the white and green tape.
https://ca.mobilefun.com/olixar-xtome-leather-style-oneplus-6t-book-case-brown-70015
Old brown leather bound book.
I think that this book one will be my favorite flip case.
Only the Cassette tape case has come in so far.
It's a bit larger then a real cassette tape and it's a big large for the phone.
Then I've purchased another half dozen or so hard cover cases/non flip.

Damn, your wife's probably right..!
But it could be worse: you could have a phone fetish instead of a phone case fetish, and that would be much more expensive.
The flip cases that I have ordered so far have come in.
Also, two of the hard cases have arrived as well. (As an aside, I don't like any of those yet. We will see if the rest of the hard cases are any better)
I like the oneplus oem flip case because it is the only one that has a magnetic feature that turns the screen on and off.
That is nice.
But I find it too small and it doesn't offer much protection.
And it only has one debit card slot.
Not useful as a wallet.
The oneplus, cassette tape and book flip cases do not have a magnetic clasp to keep them closed.
I kind of like that feature.
It gives me a fidget to play with.
And it makes it more noticeable if someone opens the case to take my debit card? Dunno.
Lol
Taking a look at the back side of these cases, some of them are not like the others.
Some of the cutouts look off.
I haven't checked them to see if it affects function or not.
Honestly I don't use the camera much anyways.
If anyone has any questions about these cases, let me know and I will do my best to answer them.
If anyone has a suggestion of another flip case for me to try out, then I am all ears!
P.S. And yes. The book is my favorite case so far. Followed by the Tardis.
Hi, I am looking for the same, but it is so hard... I know exactly what I want but all of the good looking cases are plastic inside and all the silicone ones are not-so-good looking.
Anyone found so far a sleek and elegand flip case with silicone inside?
I'm looking for a back cover style case with a (single) card holder for my driver's license and a kickstand. Not a folio / wallet case.
I use a Spigen Tough Armor one now with the kickstand and have the card just between the case and the phone but it doesn't really allow the case to sit properly around the sides. It worked pretty well on the S21+ I had before as it has a flat screen so the little extra height of the card didn't let the case go below the screen edge but with the S23 Ultra I have now it does kinda go below the screen.
Anyone know of any case like this available in Europe? I found a few on AliExpress but yeah I don't really trust the build quality of a €3 case from China..

Hi...just a hint... what about Amazon ?...have a ton of it...
I am going to try the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and Case-Mate Tough Clear Plus and will report back. It seems like some cases cover the hinges while others do not. Please post what you are using and what you think of it. Thanks.
I got this delivered today. It's a thin matte finish case in 2 pieces, so no cover over the hinge. For the low price I'm quite impressed. It feels nice in the hand and snaps into place easily but securely.
It is only a temporary case though, as I have this one on order. I like the material finish on that one, but they're not in stock for a couple of weeks.
I'm curious to see what others are getting and how they get on with them.

Thanks. From what I can tell, the case does not have to fully cover the hinge area. If they protrude and/or wrap enough, there will be drop protection. I like the 2nd case you linked--it should provide traction for holding. With the Fold's form factor, we definitely want something that helps to keep the device in our hands and not slip out.

It would be difficult to get a case that covers the hinges at all but still allow you to open the phone fully. The case I linked is flush with the hinge but sticks out everywhere else - the important places where you'd want some bump protection.
It's clearly not a rugged protection case like an Otterbox or similar, but it gives me a little peace of mind with my new toy

I can imagine that, but I look forward to have things in my hand to see how things will fit together.
This Case-Mate case from Google Store shows covering for the hinges, but I can also see that it would add width to the phone.

Ah okay, so the case is also hinged. If protection is the aim then that's obviously worth it.

You are correct that the Caseology is slippery and I am thinking of returning it as well. The Foluu is definitely a keeper. It is not bulky and yet feels solid.
