Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Grand 2 - Galaxy Grand 2 General

There might be bad news for us. Our beloved Galaxy Grand 2 might not get Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

For now our galaxy grand 2 will not receive lollipop 5.0 but he will receive kitkat 4.4.4 according to unnofficial document published by net

Also i contacted the Samsung Customer Support for this. i get the below answer from the Samsung team

Samsung have a scheduled plan of update. As per the plan grand 2 will get 4.4.4 update. It's too early for Samsung to comment on lollipop update to grand2. Though specifications support lollipop, it needs considerable time for Samsung to test and release. Let's wait for sometime n have d anticipation for 4.4.4 now

Grand 2 won't be getting any Lollipop. 4.4.4 is also doubtful. The previous Grand just received one update, from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2.
So, its highly unlikely for an update.

We are not getting any new updates. Full stop. No update. Zero, nought, null, no update.
Except if someone (I think I'll try) porting it by hand from a CM build and a phone with similar specs. We got both CM11 and CM12.

I M 100% sure grand 2 will never get lollipop update becoz of laggy phone lagy UI interface. guys dont use crapy phone guys sam is **** sam****. use stock android phones. like nexus motorola android one. android one price 6000rs and geting lollipop update and grand 2 price 18000 lol not getting lollipop big LOL thu :v go for motorola phones #Motorola #Rocks

if there is no Chinese letters it would be okay
and does it requires root? I can't root because of the warranty (>﹏<)

I just recently downloaded the rom, but I have no idea in how to install it something like flashing?
Pressing the button volume up and home and power key at the same time?
And the last very stupid question is should I backup my current TGY rom to prevent error and warranty will be void? Thanks

Normal flash with Oden 3.9
No problem for warranty
Format reset factory
Press power home volume down to get on download mode
Open Oden
Enable USB debugger on your phone
Connect with USB
No ROM backup required.
