Also having the same problem as OP. On a WPA2 Enterprise network at my workplace and I can't seem to stay connected. My iPad easily stays connected throughout the campus so it doesn't seem like the signal is unreliable...but on my S3, it would disconnect sometimes even while my screen is on and even when it does show that it's connected, most of the time it only shows sending packets but not receiving. Any ideas?
I'm running Archidroid v3.0, KitKat 4.4.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have the following issues with my Razr:
1. When connecting to my home network, sometimes the WiFi logo won't turn blue. This causes google talk to be unable to sign in. However the phone is connected to the network, internet browsing with Dolphin and Market work fine. Rebooting fixes the issue, when connecting now the WiFi logo turns blue as soon as connected and all is good.
2. I can't connect to my university's wifi: it is an 802.1x secured with PEAP and uses MSCHAPV2. When I set up the connecting (which i have to do manually by long pressing network -> modify settings) it fails to connect (says connecting to... then Disconnected). Weird thing is when modifying the network again, the settings are screwed up (e.g. set to use TLS, MSCHAPV2 unselected).
Does anybody have any ideas what to do about these (except for waiting for an update?) I am using the 651.73.18-version, so not updated so far...
Also, WiFi strength seems rather crappy with the Razr, i'm only getting ok signals where i used to get good ones with my desire and fail to connect when my cheap hp netbook connects fine...
Thanks lots for any help!!

Hope to understand you correctly.
You have got issues to connect your phone (SGS2), your iPad and other phones to your WLAN (wifi access point, router or what ever)?
Then it seems to be a problem in the configuration of your access point, and not an issue of your SGS2.
Maybe you have enabled MAC address filtering or static IP addresses?!
I cannot connect to my school's WiFi anymore and it's really frustrating. WiFi is critical when I'm at school because there is little to no wireless network signals. It used to work on an older ROM so something WiFi related on my phone changed, as I'm the only Android student with this problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?
My school is using the following type of WiFi:
EAP type: PEAP
Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2

My HTC One is running Android 4.4.2 with sense 6.0 and it refuses to connect to my company 802.1x EAP network. I have a Nexus 5 that's also running Android 4.4.2 and it has no problems whatsoever connecting. I compared the settings side by side and everything is the same yet the HTC One just gets stuck at the "Authentication" step.
Since they're running the same Android version, one would hope that they should be using the same WiFi protocols (visible and hidden) to connect to an 802.1x EAP network. Both phones connect to my home WEP secured home WiFi w/o any problems.
There are a bunch of WiFi fixers, connection aids, etc in the Play store but none of them has helped.
Any tips to solve this problem?
Hello,
since around nov. 7, when Change 117894 was merged, I have unstable connections to 802.1X Networks (WPA Enterprise, PEAP, university network, you log in with username and password). The connection is established, icons shows no traffic problems (especially no exlamaction mark), but connection is interrupted after around 7 sec, wifi symbol disappears completely.
Connection to WPA2 Personal wifi networks (password only ) is rock solid.
I don' t have an idea to provide helpful logs. Please advise. I suppose this problem also exists in the 13 release, but I admit 802.1X is not used often.
I am currently on 12.1-20151205-NIGHTLY-condor .
Best, kralo
