Hello community.
Anyone working on the unbrick this device?
The other day I went up a picture where you can see a semiconductor, which would block the entry into the bootloader with Fast-Boot Cable

That chip is probably not anything as nefarious as you're speculating... I believe it's just the standard USB EMI filter and line termination circuitry, similar to the STF202 device. Here's its spec sheet:

JTAG?

If possible, I could use some help identifying (potential) JTAG pads on the new Fire HD 6. Below are photos of the board courtesy of ifixit.com ..

The areas of the board that immediately sparked my interest are labelled JDEBUG, JDBG2, and JDBG3. I've googled the hell out of those identifiers, and have been searching for schematics for the MT8135, but information is thin - i'm assuming its because this SoC is relatively new. Does anyone have have any tips or suggestions on how I may be able to go about testing these pads? I have a multimeter and most importantly, a brain , but i'm inexperienced when it comes to JTAG and hardware debugging so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I found it! It's on JDEBUGhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2991474

Composite (RCA) Video/Audio Output from Mobile

I just bought a Nissan GT-R and I wound up getting a nice AV input added to the mix on the car. The input unfortunately is an RCA connection (analog SD Yellow/White/Red variety). I'd like to be able to mirror the phone's output onto the screen using this input. Is there a cable that allows this to be easily done on an android phone?
Current daily phone is a stock, un-rooted, AT&T Galaxy Note 5.
Before anyone asks here's the ride and unlike the phone this thing isn't stock. :silly:

Cannot unlock the bootloader

Hey, today I went to LG's developer website and got my unlock.bin, but sadly cannot flash it for some reason.
Basically what happens is when I insert the flash command into cmd, it stays at "sending 'unlock' (1 KB)..." forever.
I've installed the LG drivers but the problem still persists. Can someone give me a piece of advice on how to tackle this issue? Thanks.
EDIT: Attached a screenshot below after disconnecting the device.

Strange RK3188 board, drivers problem.

Hello,
I'm working in Digital Signage company. We bought ultra-wide displays (1366x70, 19:1) with android board. The problem is that we want to install own software on this screens but display shows only 70px of top side of android. I think that LCD controller is set on 1366x768.
I can't connect to board via external usb ports but there is two USBs on board (OTG and USB1). I made a cable for connectors but Windows can't recognize this device.
Could anyone tell me is that some way to get to this players?
