hi all,
if I want to install a new launcher like that, how can I do? Does it need root??
Can someone tell me if there is a possibility to have this one?
cause I've see it on a PoV mobii Tegra...
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/16220-app-3d-launcher-port-v10-g-tabletzpad-t2/
I'm guessing that you would have to have someone port it for the galaxy tab 10.1
Uplinked through my mind
Why would you want that???

Good answer...also bad answer.
the only answer
Guys, I just picked up a new SGS2 Epic 4g, and would like to root it and continue to use the stock kernel along with Wifitether. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.

Anyone knows the answers to question???
If you have a 4G i imagine that your in the states and i think that tethering is a carrier blocked thing over there isnt it?.
So I got an unlocked Verizon-VS980 LG G2 (I have t-mobile) and when I first started the phone it could connect to the t-mobile service right away, however after a few minutes of playing with the phone, it knows there is a sim card, but is not connected to t-mobile. The only way I can get this to work is to switch over to an AOSP rom but I really want to use a stock one. Currently using Xdabbeb and it's still not working. Any help would be great!

Are you sure it's an unlocked g2? I mean i can probably help you out with it though to make it work on stock.

Yeah for sure it was unlocked. I used it for a few days before the problems occurred.
If this is any help, I've used Mahdi rom and it worked but, but I hate using Google camera and most custom cameras don't support it. Also the battery life isn't where i like it to be (using greenify and all the other what nots)

When you got the device did you buy it from someone and did it already have a rom installed?
To make this quicker you can email me at "[email protected]" so that we're not waiting for responses on here for hours.

Just put this together for myself and decided to share.
Its 100% pure aosp so there isn't much for me to support.
Forgot to mention when I first posted, pre-rooted and busybox pre-installed.
It is set up for Canadian geeb which has green led.
For AT&T you could try xposed and gravity box and set the notification color from there.
Latest build doesn't use touchboost and you should see some battery improvement. Also removed stock aosp recovery from install.

Banks GAPPS I use:

Thanks! Your AOSP 4.4.2 was my first ROM with the geeb, I thought the old thread got bumped until I realized the date and version. I love all the bells and whistles of CM based ROMs, but AOSP + Gravity Box is a pretty good combo.

Glad to hear that, hope it works well for you!
I prefer aosp for its lack of weird behaviour

This ROM looks very interesting! Even though it's stock barebones AOSP, sometimes that just the best ROM to run on your phone Is there any possible way a gee version can be built for us Sprint and Internationals? If not, I totally understand <3

This is a boot.img for gee I just built:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712460412
Flash the rom as is, and fastboot flash boot boot.img after should work.
Or just replace it in the rom. Whichever is easier for you.
Let me know if it works, if it does I will start a new thread in International forum for you guys and upload a zip with this boot.img in it.
Just installed, and the ROM is working smoothly. Thank you very much for this!
Thanks for building this...
Gotta have AOSP ! [emoji106]

Forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't flashing this even with the gee kernel give us data issues?

If you have an e975 it should work just fine.
Only difference between our phones is the camera module.

LS970 over here. Unified Gee ROMs work for both LS970 and E975, but not specific E975 builds. Kinda weird how it all works, lol. But it sounds like I should he fine, right?

No need to worry about AT&T LED colors. We only have a choice of red, red, and red.

Well, I took the plunge and flashed the ROM. It booted up, but as expected, data was a no go. Tried every trick that I know to get it working, but nothing worked. Still though, the ROM was amazing and smooth

I'll see if I can find out the difference for ls970.
They are CDMA and not GSM right?
Maybe as simple as a build.prop edit network??

Yes, we are CDMA. One of our first KK ROMs was actually an AOSP geeb port, exactly like this ROM (but older), and it worked. So its definitely possible!
so im wondering, would the build prop edits from the g2 and flex (sprint variants) work for the g3?
the edits im asking about is freeing up the phone to use gsm service. also, i know the sprint g2 had a dedicated tmobile rom that was sim unlocked. i believe there was a lego rom too.
any roms out there that are premade sim unlocked?
thanks for your input in advance!!!

Cloudy seems to be GSM unlocked, but with the Sprint LS990 there are some additional details for running that International based ROM. I have to say I've been following this topic as a matter of curiosity, but haven't tried it myself.

ill give cloudy a shot for some reason i thought that was a g2 only rom.

Here's a place to start. Read up before you pull the trigger. There's an Ls990 specific section in herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2920503
