hi friends, i use many apps in my xperia sola with gin gerbread .184 rooted, but the stock music player...I feel it is slower when I use the phone apps, i really like the apolo player, but when i install apolo.. the control music in lockscreen its not working, only works with the stock player..
is there any way to work with apolo or other music player? i really like apolo, but i like more the music control in lockscreen .
sorry for my English, i dont speak english very well :silly: , I ask here because it is the biggest and best forum for android phones.

I recently got a Xperia Ray, and a feature I seriously miss from my Cyanogenmodded X10 mini are the music controls in the lockscreen. Could there be some way to add them without using third party apps, even better if they are integrated in the lockscreen like in Cyanogen?
Also, I wonder if there is some way to let Sony know about features we want on new updates.

First of all, "Thanks ALL" for your work which make this community possible.
I am using Samsung Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod 7.1. I love it. I liked MIUI Music player than the stock on cyanogenmod. The only problem I am facing with this is, I am not able to control the MIUI player from lockscreen. Each time, I use the lockscreen music controls, it automatically opens up the stock music player. I really really like the Cyanogenmod Lockscreen. But I dont know how I could configure the lockscreen music controls to use MIUI player.
I want to stay with the stock lockscreen. So I have not yet tried any thirdparty lockscreen apps with music widget controls. Please refer one if you are already using any.

just remove the stock music apk from your system/apps move it to your SD backup folder or something in case if u want it later that will do it

I've tried the JB roms and was really impressed by how smooth and responsive they were. However, I am currently on the Task ICS rom and I LOVE the music player widget. Would I be able to install the touchwiz Music player onto jellybean? And if so, how?

simple answer u can't as it requires touchwiz framework ...........
so, i want to run music player app and video player of the touchwiz in an aosp rom. is it possible? is thr any port? i love the multi dpi support in the aosp roms.. so, i also want these players to run on the rom. is it possible? please help me out!!!!

with this working and added features:
The 2 useful features from stock
*light effects (the orange circle light on the top of phone) - i hope there is, i want this feature appears on new sony music player app
*Walkman Button - this one is so useful, i hope it would works on the new sony music player app
*able to customize Equalizer - stock music player from stock live with walkman (ICS .587) doesn't have this
*Visualizer - live with walkman will be much more cooler with this
i have live with walkman with stock ics but unlocked my bootloader. i didnt try to proceed to customs roms because i dont have idea and really dont have courage to do it. i hope that this request of mine to have a apk of new sony music player app will be possible. i would give thanks and deeply appreciated who can possibly made it, to make live with walkman a ultimate walkman phone

i don't think that it is possibe... but there is a app called "Light Effects" from jellyvanilla rom.

There are many Xperia S/T/V walkman ports available for our stock ICS which have clear bass, customisable equaliser. As for the Walkman button I am sure there is a fix that works with the modded Walkman players but for the lights the best you will find is a walkman lights app (separate app) not a setting within the player. I personally have not tried any, I don't like ICS (too slow) so I use stock modded GB.
