Hello, I have a rooted xperia mini pro SK17i and I'm stuck to the CyanogenMod ROM 7.2.0 which seems to be the only one to work with my device.
I have written to you in the past to ask: "Why the wifi stops working if I try to install the cm-9.0.0, or 9.1.0-cm, or 10 cm-.........? ?? "
but no one has ever found a solution or the solution just did not work ...
I know from what I see in the forums that mine is a very common problem.
Now, years later, I ask again the same thing: "What should I do to install a more recent rom without losing the wifi?"
hello

wifi is defend by your kernel install.. try use another kernel like cm10 or cm11 and make full wipe n install your rom again.. or switch to another kernel and rom..
When I installed the cm-9.0.0 I used its kernel and I did the same with the 9.1 and the 10 ... did not work ..
But maybe I did not understand. You say, for example, if I install the 9.1 should I try Kernell of 10? Does it make sense?
Please........ :crying:
Does WiFi work on Stock ICS 0.587 firmware ?
I am ashamed but I do not know what it is ...
I'm no expert, I have not yet figured out a lot of things ... I'm still learning ...
I followed a guide to root my device and install the cyanogen rom.
If I look in the device info read:
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-FXP root @ ubuntu # 6
Android version: 2.3.7
This is all I know ...
Before roottare the phone I upgraded the original operating system of the phone and the wifi stopped working.
Precisely for this reason I decided to install the CyanogenMod ROM: to try to recover the wifi.
The cm 7.2.0 did it. The newer versions like 9, 9.1 did not work ....
My question is .... why??? it is obvious that it is not a hardware problem ...Because if it were so it would not work even with cm 7.2.0 ...
I'd like to update my device to the latest stable CyanogenMod rom for my device which is 9.1 ..
But I can not because the wifi stops working ... Heeeeelp!!

i think you ALLWAYS forget to flah the needed kernel. (& allways have this old GB kernel) so only wifi works with this.
you should make sure you following the install EXACTLY.
also cm 9.1 is old like hell. this is also no stable release. at least i wouldnt call it like that.
Look for LX (Legacy xperia) which provides cm10.1 , 10.1 (jb) & 11 (kitkat) this is far more stable. also many bugs fixed there.
cm 9(.1) is abdonned long time
First of all .. Thank you so much for your help.
Ok .. I'll try .. I'm just worried because in thr LegacyXperia site I see a lot of bugs in the Working / not working lists..

ok good luck this time all works incl. wifi (should work 100% if doing all right)
i think the best is to test a rom 1st so you can say how it fits your usage . just a few tips:
-use minimal gapps after flashing rom
-LX 10.1 has a release candidatefrom march this year its a pretty stable daily driver. dont use the 10.2 release theres nothing better..
-maybe also you can test cm11 if want, but keep in mind 19/3 is the last PMEM build which is based on old kernel, will probably deliver the stablest experience. IMO the latest release is also very good but this contains some bug like the ANDROID_OS wakeclock (need power on phone on charger to avoid this) & its still in development (so its more for dev users)
for the buglist:
CM10.1:
- maps flickering its true but fixed in CM11
- wifi gets drops sometimes .. but it work at all
- camera is not good quality/buggy bcuz of driver lacks (also no 720p video)
CM11:
- sometimes wifi a lil bit buggy but its minimal. works like a charm for me
- 720p video is working here
BOTH:
-sometimes bluetooth battery drain after using it (need reboot to fix) i not face this is issue when i send something to friend.... (works normal..)
- NO FM radio, HDMI port will not work (if you have one) & ANT+ (no drivers)
good luck for you
Yesterday I installed the CM11 and ... it works!!!!
The wifi works! :good:and I like the rom.:good::good: ... so ... thanks a lot bejunk!!!! thanks thanks a lot!!!!! You are a great!!

np bro im happy you have now good rom & working wifi
just 1 thing if you use the latest version (02/07) it has a bug that you get android os battery drain. you can solve this by:
-power off phone
-plug in into charger & wait till you see the battery logo
-power on . done
Thanks again! The only problems with this rom are:
- the phone takes a long time to boot. Almost two minutes ... every time ..
- When the device starts up many icons disappear and others are in different positions ... I do not know why ...
Is there a way to fix these problems? Maybe I did something wrong during the installation ...

There's a Q&A section for that ROM. Anyway, long boot time should be fixed in the upcoming release. The simplest way to fix disappearing icons problem is to install another launcher. Hope I've helped.
Hey guys !
As announced today, I will release a mod for our Xperia X10.
The full review is available here.
You can download it here (mediafire link)
WARNING The rom zip file is a CLOCKWORKMOD BACKUP. Means you musn't flash it as a update.zip. You have to unzip it with your computer to push the "clockworkmod" folder yo your SDCARD. If you don't fail, you must be able to restore my backup with CWM recovery.
Of course, flash the same kernel i used. it's this kernel. Thanks @Achotjan
Maybe this rom works with this kernel too. Thanks @scritch007
Lets list all the apps and features i added (clic show to show x) ):
- Google Search 4 and libs from Lollipop to enable voice recognition.
- Google Fit if you want to lose weight because you spent too much time to compile
- File Manager (The same who was in my previous mod.
- Android 4.2.2 Clock
- Kitkat Fonts
- Titanium backup standard
- White icons on statusbar and Lollipop network icons
- Lollipop launcher
- Nexus 6 Wallpaper
- Cyanogenmod 11 Changelog in about this phone
- ANDROID L PREVIEW, NOT LOLLIPOP FOR NOW easter egg. Using eggster xposed module
- Xposed installer with Xposed Gel Settings, Gravitybox and eggster
- Google Keyboard 4, with marerial design of course
- Android Lollipop Bootanimation
- Google Play Store 5.0.38 with material design
- Overclock to 1267MHZ set on boot, ondemand governor and KSM enabled, for SDE kernel users
- You'll see
- Forgotten it : DPI set to 200
BUGS :
- Some rares random graphic glitches
- Camcorder
- Same as CM10
- Random reboots if you let CPU run @1.2Ghz for some users. To fix it, goto Settings; scroll down to Performance; and change max frequency to 1.1Ghz or lower.
- You tell me
If they are modders able to backport Lollipop settings, deskclock and systemUI to Jellybean 4.1, please PM me to make it awesome
Dont forget the zip file is a backup and not an update.zip.
Install Material design Google keep : http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/keep/keep-3-0-03-apk/
This mod is based to @scritch007 CMX10, so it's 4.1.2. It's NOT Lollipop, and not Kitkat. It's themed Jelly Bean.
Happy flashing
Well done on this
I don't use my X10 for anything meaningful anymore these days but might have to give this a shot.

Me too. I turned to Nexus 5. Real lollipop is fine. I picked Google libs from my phone to make Google Search 4.0 working on X10. It seems to work fine.
Hope you enjoy it. Will try to mod apps but im noob for this dont expect perfect lollipop IU therefore

Just fired up the ROM. Loving the boot animation! I got into the main homescreen but then it froze and rebooted I know why - it's because as you said above, the default clock speed is 1.2Ghz. My X10 has never been able to handle anything above 1.113Mhz, so unfortunately I can't get into the settings fast enough to change it before it freezes
However, what I can see on the homescreen looks amazing! You've done a fantastic job with the presentation of the ROM.

Flash CMX10 kernel with flashtool and boot the rom with it. I think it will reset the CPU settings.
Thanks buddy
I have 4 invites with 6 days validity to buy the OnePlus One. I want to give it to developers so they can create ROMS for the amazing phone. If you know any developers in search of an invite please let me know. I will be more than happy to share invites with them
Hey guys !
Submit everything you want to see here, i will try to implement it
Cheers
PS: If you know someone able to help me to build a boot.img, and edit it to make it working for various manufacturer roms, please let me know
Hey, when I tried to install the rom, it's great, very great but no sim card detected, I haven't any network.
Have you a solution please?
Thanks a lot.
EDIT : I think it's good now, sim card recognize ! But have you random reboot and looooong freeeze you too?
I can't use the phone more 2 minutes because after, my phone reboot.
Hey guys !
Eggster module has been updated and now with Lollipop easter egg support. Please update eggster in xposed installer and select Lollipop easter egg

Maybe because default clock is 1267Mhz. Goto settings; performance and set clock to 1GHz, and make sure you use SDE kernel.
some screenshots or video review of this rom would be very nice.

Rare issue, not due to the rom. Disconnect to your Google account, wipe Google Play Store app data and open it and re-add your account it should be Ok
how install rom ?? Please help!
Hi I recently updated my samsung glalaxy s4 active to the official lollipop 5.0.1 update. So it's cool and everything but some of games are crashing (Unfortunately
game has stoppes) each time I open each one of them. I tried to reinstall, clear cache and data but still nothing so I just wanted to know if I am the only one who facing this problem or is it general. And if it's me then how could I fix it
Here for anyone who want to help me. I have chosen you who have that version of the lollipop ipdate the smallest games to download so you can tell me if it works or not "Gravity Guy 2" or "Stick Run" or "'hambo"
Hey guys!
Hi just get my black Z5 Compact! It looks amazing!
I already unlocked BL and rooted my pretty little phone :3
Now I would like to install Xposed, but I just got a Q: wich fw should I use? I knew on my old big bad Note 4 I had to use an alternative fw for TW rom. Well, I know Xperia roms are pretty stock, but never know.
Thank y'all! :*
Well, I used XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk & xposed-v75-sdk22-arm64.zip & tested gravity box and a few others which seemed to be working fine, but as you'll see here, my camera is crashing, so until I worked out why, I can't say that xposed didn't have something to do with it.
I have camera crash too
This is the link :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58828974&postcount=1
Thank's, already installed and replied
"I have camera crash too "
Which Build are you on? I am on the old 32.0.A.4.11 and my phone force reboots after I start any app upon boot since I installed xposed sdk22-arm64...
32.0.A.6.152
tried xposed-v80-sdk22-arm64.zip from rovo89, resulted in bootloop and had to uninstall it. just no luck, wait for more stable version.
Anybody at all able to run xposed? No combination at all of versions from 67 to 80 of sdk22 and roms can get me to even boot up. Really really frustrating.
CM10 - LG UI
Hey everyone . This is my first ROM , it's based on the latest official CM 10 build , and it's a rom designed to give the look of the official rom , but with the flexibility and performance of Cyanogenmod 10 .
Features
Look of the LG Stock Rom
Very Stable Rom and App
Based of CM10 Official , one of the smoothest rom for this device
Some APKs removed , like CMUpdater or DSPManager to gain some precious RAM
Stock LG Apps : Clock/Alarm - Camera - Calendar - Weather - Voice Recorder - LG SmartWorld - Launcher - YouTube
No Theme , Native edited apps ( Some of them have a different icon (Calc) , others have slightly different graphic elements (Browser) , others are reskinned (Phone,Contacts))
Install Instructions
Go to Recovery ,
Wipe System , Dalvik Cache , Cache , and Data
Install the Rom , and all of the stuff down below (It's highly Recommended)
Reboot , and enjoy^^
Downloads
CM10 - LG UI V1
VectorKernel U0 (By JonasCardoso)
GApps 4.1.2
Fly-on-Mod (By Slaid480)
Adreno 200 Driver Update
GLTools
Play Store 3.9.16 Without Auto-Updating
(Replace Phonesky.apk in /system/app after Gapps installation . Set Persmissions to -rw-r-r--)
After the installation , You should go to the Developers options -> Force GPU rendering ,
Go to Language & Input to change your language (No Setup Wizard),
Then Performance , I reccommand checking everything in Memory , ZRam at 26% , and in CPU 1267 MHz max w/ Interactive governor .
I recommand also using an old version of the Play Store / included YouTube / Chrome , Old versions of those apps that don't require the Google Play Services , which is a RAM hog .
With my Rom and the tweaks , I was able to acheive a score of 9925 in Antutu Benchmark !
of course , games such as Geometry Dash are perfectely playable , and Temple Run 2 runs above 30-35 FPS (Old version of Temple Run 2 , the 1.1.1 , runs at a silky smooth 60 fps) , and Minecraft PE runs and is playable , as long as you use a modified apk to run the game on Android 4.1 .

Did you wipe everything before flashing ? ( cache , dalvik cache , system and data ) ?
If you installed this rom on top of a previous android installation , it can cause some errors like that ...
And if so , try installing only the rom , reboot into android , and go to the recovery again and install everything else .
thanks for your great work
did you tried to port cm12 or cm 13 or aosp 5 ?
