Active notification with Gyro working - G 2014 Themes and Apps

Hello everybody, for those who want to have the notification peek with the functionality "lift and look" (only on phones with gyro), just download the application on play store "PEEK" by Francisco Franco. Works with Gyroscope and Proximity sensor
Here the link:
Free - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jedga.peek.free
Pro version - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jedga.peek&hl=it (Let's see the price... Ahahaha :silly
If it isn't compatible search the free version by your own with GOOGLE!
:victory:
This phone is complete with this function!
Tried on XT1063, XT1068, Nexus 5 and HTC One M8!

I really loved Active Notification, but I found it totally screwed with other apps, like Facebook or anything with a "chat head" type deal - guess it was the "Fullscreen" conflict

Awesome Apps for the L9

These are apps that I use on a daily basis that look good and run well on our device. For now I'm just going to post things that have helped me speed up my device and made it look nice! More details to come... If you have a app that you think should be included, just post away!
Leeeets begin.
Utility apps (REQURIES ROOT!!):
Pimp my Rom:
Great app to have, lots and lots of tweaks you can apply to your device that can help boost (or slow down) your device. This is really meant for advanced users who have decent knowledge on these types of tweaks.
XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1908269
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androguide.pimp.my.rom
Seeder
This is a VERY simple app, with some small reading to get you up to speed on what it does. I run this on my device all the time and have noticed a great improvement in switching between apps and redraws.
___________
***One thing to notice and remember. Pimp my Rom has a built in entropy seeder that may conflict with Seeder. During my tests I've noticed the boost that Pimp my Rom offers is the EXACT same as seeder with some more detailed tweaks to apply, but may fail to reapply on reboot and gets stuck. That's why I prefer to have the standalone app- it's small and no worries with it! :good:
XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lcis.seeder
Look & Feel
In no particular order or preference, these are apps for weather, widgets, etc
1Weather
Gorgeous looking weather app with simple controls, nice animations and even widgets! Built in weather map, severe weather alerts and interesting weather facts!
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handmark.expressweather
Battery Widget?! Reborn
Very straightforward app- gives you nice details about battery usage, accurate discharge/charge stats and an overall clean Holo look and feel.
Google actually uses a screenshot of the main app for the nexus 4 wireless charging orb! Once we get AT LEAST 4.1 on our devices there will be more awesome notifications in store with this app.

Clock 4.2
I threw this in here because I love the clock that comes with stock 4.2 but as we all know we don't have it (and might not for a while.. lets go devs! :victory and all efforts by myself and I'm sure countless others, cannot get the actual app pulled from a 4.2 device to work on our devices. So I ended up finding it on the Play store and gave it a shot. Aside from those annoying ads at the bottom (which can be removed for about .99 if you're daring) the app performs and looks great on our phone.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.intrications.android.deskclock
Sliding Messaging
If any of you pay attention to the front page of XDA, I'm sure you have seen this little gem come floating by.
I greatly dislike the stock LG texting app, dabbled in a blacked out app from an old device and finally settled on this. It's currently a work in progress and has a great developer who listens to our feedback, and has constant updates. The free version does NOT have MMS built in, it defaults to the stock texting app on our phone, and the pro version has LIMITED functionality for MMS and a couple cool new features thrown in.

Phonechievements
This one is a little on the silly side, and I'm a huge gamer so this is a plus to me. Also, WHO DOESN'T LOVE ACHIEVEMENTS?!
So you get achievements just by doing day to day things on your phone, some are a little on the extreme side, while some are easy to get. And it all looks great too!

And since I don't like the physical Home button of L9, here is one of my favorites:
SwipePad https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.conduction.swipepad.android&hl=en
SwipePad is a launcher panel overlay. With a single swipe action, you can launch anything from within any app. (even go to Home or turn off screen (with additional apps))

[Q] Bug voice recognition + CM11

Hello,
I identified a bug in the Google voice recognition. Since I do not know if it's because of the Google app or my rom, so I come here to ask you to compare with your system. It would be nice to try the same operation as me to tell me if you have the bug or not. Thank you to specify your device and rom.
Watch the bug in video:
Download the video (HD - MKV - 1m30s - 16 MB)
Context of the bug:
Occurs very often after using the voice recognition in the Google search bar and only without scrolling the search results. My device is a Galaxy s2, rom CM11 build M7, the Google search app is up to date (version 3.4.16.1149292arm).
Effects of the bug:
It disables the automatic rotation of the screen and the light sensor prevents the automatic variation of the brightness of the screen.
Notes:
Once the bug occurred, no way to reactivate functions disabled must then restart Android. Herewith, I made a video to show the bug. First, I show that the light sensor works, it varies when I cover with my hand. Then I show that the rotation of the screen works. Then I start a voice search in French with the word "pommes", and I come back home to show the bug. I show that the rotation does not work, or the light sensor no longer changes when I hide it with my hand.
Need help:
It would be nice to try the same operation as me to tell me if you have the bug or not. Thank you to specify your device and rom.

I tested this and you are right!!
I am using S2 with CM11/latest nightly and the same thing happens, but ONLY when using the Google Search Bar in the launcher.
When I use the Search Bar in Google Now, everything keeps working, but when I use the search bar in the Trebuchet Launcher, rotation and brightness stop working.
What launcher are you using?
I’m sure that the launcher didn’t care about this issue because the bug arrives after using the Google app “google search” using voice recognition. For replay, my launcher is apex. I’m happy you has tested, thanks.
I tested this issue with a galaxy s1 run CM11 build M7, with same Google search app version and no problem. I suppose this bug is only for Galaxy s2.
I don’t know how to communicate an issue to CM11 team. It would be nice if some one can do it.

But fot me it only happens when using the Search bar from the launcher, not when I use the Google app to search or Google Now. That's the weird thing...

It actually does have an led. It's hidden behind the speaker and only comes on when the battery is completely dead. I've seen it once. It's green.

- Google Camera (Because Moto Camera Sucks!)
- Pocket (Best article reader/ Offline reader)
- Soundcloud (Well.. Duh!)
- Pushbullet ( Best Utility App, ever! Period.)
- Dropbox/Box (Cuz 16 GB aint enough man!)
In alphabetical order:
1. Car Home Ultra
2. Chromecast
4. Nova Launcher Prime
3. Torque Pro
4. Trigger
Once I bought NFC tags and setup profiles, I can't imagine not having NFC. Also, Torque pro + an OBD2 sensor are a must have for any car lovers.
Pushbullet
BaconReader (yay reddit!)
Month (awesome calendar app/widget thingy)
PowerAmp (for audio) & MX Player Pro (for video)
SwiftKey (still love it more than the stock keyboard)
Okay, that's already six. And I have some more still...

IPHONE X GESTURE which will not disappoint u!

So I have pretty much tried all apps that have iPhone x Gesture feature form play store like:
- All in one Gestures (It's good, but accidentally touch is annoying)
- T Swipe Gestures ( if you want full feature, then have to pay. .... but not so good)
- X home bar ( not good for me)
- Xposed edge ( Its really good but you need Xposed.... but you will lose SafetyNet form Magisk )
- Iphone X Gestures ( its ok, but need some fix)
- Gesture Bar - 제스처 바 (BEST ONE SO FAR .. but you need to pay extra for more feature) :silly:
How to remove nav bar you can use "nav bar remover overlay" but it never worked for me :fingers-crossed:
Alternative way to remove nav bar is by editing build-prop .. ROOT - SYSTEM - BUILD.PROP which you can do by adding this line at the bottom of the page inside build.prop ( qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 ) .However, you will lose the ability of 3D home/ Force touch, but :highfive: it will work on always on display screen.
Conclusion - try out all of them but personally I recommend "Gesture Bar - 제스처 바" Good luck and enjoy :good:
Best gestures app in my opinion are floatingmenu in play store and swipe navigation also in play store. I have used all of the ones you mention and trust me floating menu gives you way more options. Paid of course. And navbar remover works fine for me. TMobile variant
Lol crapple and it's gestures now what's next. Fix that notch in the screen first please.
Anyhow here's something y'all can look into. Most recent beta is below check it out. here. Try it see if it works for you guys.
Enjoy.

Not even noticeable for me. When I started with the S2, I was very OCD about battery drain. I'm better now ;-)
Today for the app: 0.2% according to Android. Is that accurate ? Dunno as I don't use 3rd party apps b/c no longer obsessive
