where to find ( if exist ) EMUI 3.0 for mediapad 7D-501L ( internationnal version with full 4G support ) ?
if i flash a 503 version, did i lost 800mhz 4G frequency ? can back to 501L rom ?
actualy , i am on 7D-501LV100R001C136B001 ( android 4.2.2 , emui 2.0 , 320dpi ) , and software update say no update available ....
and other question, did u think that we cans have lollipop one day ? or huawei totaly forget their users ?

as of now, EMUI 3.0 roms for 501u and 503L are still in beta (in China), if all go well, the final versions will be released to public end of Dec 14 or early 15.
my guess is once the EMUI 3.0 roms for 501u and 503L are released, 501L's will follow closely as they are near clones of each other (with the addition of google services and different radio firmware in 501L); I simply don't see Huawei intentionally antagonizing the rest of the market outside China when only a little additional work over and above what they have already put in is required.
stay tuned to Huawei Deutsche / Taiwan / HongKong websites for latest info.

Since been number of KitKat release recently for Mediapad X1 7D-501L, Which KitKat 4.4.2 version is better (why?), and which version currently you are using?

According to my knowladge 501L is 4g international model
503L 4g for chinese
501u is 3g version
For your 501l u will found 4.4 roms wiz 2 version 320 dpi and 400 dpi
And people here prefer 320 dpi cause of 400 dpi have issues wiz app compatiblity

Hi all
I got yesterday a Mediapad M1 8.0 4G (S8-301LV ..... ). It comes with Android 4.2
I readed Lollipop improves performance. Somebody knows if it's possible to upgrade M1 to 5.0, or some newer version than 4.2?
About upgrade to 5.0 I found some blog posts but I don't trust (they point info is here, but here there are any info), and I found too other posts about 4.4.2, but don't fits the samen number S8-301U, S8-303U and so on.
Some light please?

P.S.: I don't have any clue right now with device, I just searched just if it's interesting to upgrade.

MediaPad M1 S8-301W & S8-301L have already released 4.4 firmware but not for the S8-301U version. May be the near future they could release Lollipop upgrade with EMUI 2.0 or 2.3 but not with EMUI 3.0 because i have researched all EMUI 3.0 released phones have 2GB of ram so MediaPad M1 has 1GB of ram.

Dear Sanup2006,
Huawei is about to launch Mediapad X2 (successor to X1). It runs on 5.0 Lollipop with EMUI 3.0. So, my advise don't buy X1 and rather go for X2.
