Introducing PURPLE PUNCH for Priest Punch v 1.2 4.4.2 rom.
Thank you very much to 1Brainsurgeon for a fantastic rom to build this upon. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have making it!
Special thanks to Droid716 who got the ball rolling and inspired me to start my own theme. Your help has been crucial to getting to this point!
Thanks to everyone in the Theming101 thread as well as Priest Punch peeps. So many have contributed to my journey and I cannot thank you all enough!
Donations are greatly appreciated but not required. After going through this process I realize how much time is actually invested in these projects. As does my wife..

A Review of Theme ALIEN GLOW v.51 for Eclipse 2.0 + By Android.Ninja
First off let me say that there are alot of developers / themers out there and this in no way discredits anyones work. It is simply my review.
ALIEN GLOW v.51 for Eclipse 2.0 + is a remarkable theme and once installed you can tell that time, care, and planning were put into place when this theme was born. The structure of the theme is evident right after a sucessfull install. Seeing the glowing green backgrounds, corners, borders, & dramatically glowing unlock screen icons almost illuminate an aroura of 3D effect.
The precision animations of "Flying Windows" give my X2 a new feeling , bringing every transistion and animation to life. The Framework, Moto, Blur, & System UI were themed immaculately giving the backbone of the structure a new lift.
The Keyboard is perfectly themed making it easily visible in all possible lighting situations.A perfect amount of aroura was supplied arround each character on the keyboard map, as not to distrurb the subtleness of the keys. This with the black background and green text, giver each character a clear neon glow.
The Contacts, Launcher, Calculator, and other various icons also deliver the same richness in the theme. Elegently delivering each tone of shade a radiant green glowing effect.
The font of choice is the Zerg system custom font. All I can say is "Well Done." This font is perfect for this theme. It gives you the alien type feel but delivers the crisp and raxor sharp image in each character and number displayed, that is sure to be the envy. It makes your X2 stand out, and that's no joke.
The dialer I think is my sencon favorite part of this well put together masterpiece. When incoming calls come, you get the full effect of the "glowing green on black" imaging this phone really deserves.
The Transistions of windows animitaions are just enought to bring new life to the X2. It doesn't overcome the phone or drown out the rest of the awesomeness this theme delivers. It's just enough to give a smooth transistion from the boring non animiation look of stock to the Area 51 precision that you will expect.
As for the install, It's the same as with any install. Pretty straight forward and to the point.
Screenshots are below. I give this theme a Android.Ninja Swords Up!

Nope, not a writer, (unless XDA needs one) A developer. But thanks!
It's a honest review of your theme. I have been developing for many years and while this is only my thoughts on the theme, I have a feeling that others will feel the same. Your theme work is excellent. Some of the best I have seen. Keep bringing it here, and I'll be glad to give it a review!
Truly good work!

I you are running the Keyboard supplied in Eclipse 2.0 + when you flash this theme it should overwrite and replace the keyboard.apk file. It wouldn't hurt to reflash. He also mentioned that you can wipe cache and Dalvik as an option. I would suggest this for sure. No need to wipe data, just the cache and Dalvik. Remember when you do this it may take a few seconds longer on the first boot however that will only happen once.
I installed this theme on the fisrt try, wiping cache and Dalvik and have had no problems at all.

Hi Mr_GreenJeans;
I wouldn't flash this over Eclipse 1.3.
You need to be on 2.3.5 running Eclipse 2.0 or above. If you flash on top of 1.3 you will get undesired results ending in a syncronus boot loop and will have to sbf to correct. The structure of 1.3. vs 2.0 and above will not match. This theme is designed only to run supported by Eclipse 2.0 or above.
When properly flashed on the correct version of Eclipse, this theme is fluid and impeccable. It will transform your X2 into a lean green alien machine with razor sharp imagery and astounding graphics.
Trust me.

Summary:
I have cooked my stock ROM's DefaultThemes.apk, and I think I should share it to you all. I have been shared already in my ZipThemer (for XPERIA ROM) thread, but it's better to attach the cooked DefaultThemes.apk, rather than use ZipThemer, right?
Compatibility:
The apk is cooked from stock 2.3.4 ROM, so it must also compatible tostock 2.3.4 based ROM. Unexpectedly,I found it compatible to SONY ICS PORT ROM. So, simply if your ROM have DefaultThemes.apk in system/app , you can use this mod in your ROM.
Instructions:
Replace the old DefaultThemes.apk in system/app of you phone.
Details:
The background image is actually captured from Cosmic Flow Live Wallpaper (so the title says Cosmic Flow style!), and now it's presented to you all.
See Screenshot below of my SONY ICS PORT to see the results
So if you like the mod please click thanks button, and make some reply too.
Now I'm working on hdpi version. Wait a bit for that I'm fourteen years old now and I have to attend secondary school so I'm busy at the moment.
reply and press thanks button if you like my mod

Go here download the Rom and then pull the .apk's from the zip. I would post them but am on super slow internet at the moment. Then just replace the ones you want with a file explorer, check permissions and you are good to go.

Before doing this, I suggest that you make a backup, and also copy the current apks that are functioning on your existing setup that you choose to harvest/replace from that rom.
Installing those or any system files from a Verizon rom is neither a horrible idea, nor is it a good one. Worth a shot, of course.
The above would apply to any modifications you might make to your phone.
Good luck!

I've got the black dialer and contacts from my maximus rom also if anyone would like to try,
though its calling system_dark_holo as the background
which is not totally black on a stock rom (though probably still looks good)
and you can set system holo dark color or image with wanam xposed.
also the top bars will be blue and not black without the extra framework images.
if anyone wants to try it shoot me a pm (id like to see a screenshot of it on a stock rom before i just release it into the wild)
though once we see how it looks i may tweak a bit and post it , and the needed files to black out a few more things (top bar, shutdown menu)

Blacked Out Dialer with Cobalt Blue theme
Screenshots are at the bottom of this post.
None of this is not my work and I take no credit for any of the mods or theming.
I'm not sure if anyone else has done this, if so I have not been able to find anything anywhere for the VS985 variant.
All credit goes to @hello00 and @dustinb17
Don't forget to show the developers some love and thank them.
I am just providing proof that this works and how to get it.
Use these at your own risk and I am NOT responsible for anything that happens to your device.
Anyone interested in a "dark dialer and contacts" along with "cobalt blue themed" here is how you go about it.
Prerequisites:
1. nandroid nandroid nandroid! Just can't say it enough.
2. Download all files needed. The links to the Dev threads where you can download the files needed are listed below.
3. Must have g3 tweak box installed.
4. Must have xposed installed.
5. Must be rooted and bump TWRP installed.
---
The blacked out dialer must be flashed through TWRP. Not sure if it is needed, but I wiped Davlic and cache when I flashed to prevent headaches.
---
To use cobalt theme go to G3 Tweakbox / theme tweaks / THEMES / phone app then choose cobalt theme and reboot.

Every time I downloaded one of these through Chrome or ES File Explorer it kept giving me an error saying problem parsing package. So I used Chrome and opened up an incognito tab and downloaded the apk that way. You may even use a desktop computer to download it then transfer it to your phone. Just letting you know ahead of time you may get that error, but once you get it to install it looks pretty cool. They have several to choose from in the link I posted.

I would not ask the developers for help since I do not think that they support the VS985 variant.

If you change the navigation bar button color to stock, you will see the original g3 home button color theme.

I'm using SwiftKey. And I like it, lots of themes to choose from. Is there anyway to adjust the keyboard size it's a little to high, wanna shrink it a little.
