So this is my first time installing a custom rom and I've decided to flash cm11 to my lg mini. I've seen the bugs of cm11 and I'm completely OK with most of it. I can't seem to find a step by step guide to install a rom for g2 mini. Are there any threads available here in this forum section?

Hi,I'd like to ask how can I upgrade my LG L9 p760 to Android KitKat 4.4 ?I've never rooted the phone,I saw tried to google it but the only things I got were 2 videos of a spanish guy and some links that were redirecting here on xda but I didn't understand very much ,it wasn't looking like a tutorial at all.Can anybody link me a tutorial with a trusted room KitKat 4.4 ?
You should first try to unlock your device's bootloader, once your bl is unlocked you can follow a guide on how to install a cam recovery and flash a custom rom (for example a cyanogen mod based on android kitkat)
Asking for the best way rooting my L7 P715II and the best kitkat rom "Official" KitKat rom if there is one

Are you using the stock rom? What version of Android do you currently have?
Have you tried flashing first the KDZ file that maxx_hr has? It is very nice that it's the stock kdz from LG but only modified to have root access, and unlocked bootloader. The rest remains untouched so you can have a very close experience in the stock Kitkat 4.4.2 BUT... with root :good:
*P715 V20A OPEN ESA (India)*
*P715 V20A CIS by vvitaly*
Search one rooted kdz prepared for flash here: Various Rooted Kiktkat KDZ.
Then you can use the custom recovery to flash another ROM. I don't have the Dual-Sim so I can't suggest an specific one but having root and a custom recovery... just backup your files and try everything haha
Hello,
Yesterday I downloaded new update for Lg G2 mini and after update was complete I realised that update was acctually upgrade from kitkat to lolipop android version.
I don't like new design of lolipop, so I would like to ask for your help to downgrade from lolipop back to android 4.4.2 (Kitkat).
I don't want to loose warranty for my phone by doing that, so I would need stock ROM or however that's called.
I just want to go back to android 4.4.2 from current 5.0.2.
I saw some post about stock android versions to download, but links aren't working anymore.
Any kind of help would be nice
go to http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=57 choose your countrie and your g2 mini variant d620r V10 make sure you choose V10 and flash the downloaded kdz with LG flash tool http://www.mediafire.com/download/fwrcd3pdj0svjtb/LG_Flash_Tool_2014.zip

Hi guys,
I'm here to ask you a good MT6592(m) porting guide. I just bought my new THL 5000T, a MT6592m Octa-Core with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and 5000mAh battery! It's a monster. It has 4.4.2 stock firmware and I saw someone ported MIUI 7 for it, on NeedROM. But I also saw LolliPop and CyanogenMOD ROM ported to MT6592.
I searched over Internet and I discovered that porting MT6592/T ROMS on MT6592m works flawlessly, so MT6592 (1.7Ghz), MT6592T(2.0Ghz) and MT6592m(1.4Ghz) ROMS are interchangeable.
So I started trying to port some ROMs like OctOS, CM12.1 and even KitKat Roms like AICP or CM11. I searched obviously the porting guide. Well....Here's the problem
Over internet there are thousands of guides, all differents each other, and NO ONE WORKING GOOD
I also tried to mix them by copying as many files from stock as possible. No luck. The only ROM that booted to launcher was OctOS but no network, no sim, no 3g, no nothing. I tried to fix them by "Bugs fixing guides" over internet, but they result in bootloop.
I'm here to asking you, my favourite and main Android modding forum, if someone has got the definitive guide for porting MT6592(m) ROMs.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my english, I'm Italian
No one?
I can not help you about your problems, but I'm interested in, how you were returned to stock rom after installing a custom ROM. I also have problems with the installation and instructions on how to install ROMs on mtk

It's easy to return to stock rom after installing a custom rom.
You just need to flash your stock rom through SP Flash Tool!
