Wondering what Launcher is most used with the Note 4.
I've always used Nova primarily cause I like the icon gestures options and increased grid options . But new to the Note 4 and just wondering with the Spen and all most would stick with Touch Wiz.
I'm on Nova since this got the smart gestures and works simple the best for me not to much just enough of everything.
I installed nova as I'm used to it also. I don't think it takes away from any of the spen functionality switching to nova though. I may be wrong.

The only thing I've noticed we can't do with Nova is ... 'pin' Action memos to our screen. On TW launcher the memos have a pin icon top right which dissapears on 3rd party launcher.
I am using smart launcher for efficiency

But you can put said pinned notes on the homescreen via SNotes correct?
I'm using next launcher 3d here, the 3d settings look awesome xD

Via the widget, yes. That is a different method than pinning individual action memos
And GEL is Google Experience Launcher
Sorry xposed XGel is a tweak to customize the launcher.
I use Action Launcher. It has unique functionality, like the ability to swipe up on a icon and assign any widget to it. It's fast too

Nova launcher because i can pull down the notification with a swipe from the homescreen without reaching the status bar.

I use Touchwiz and Nova only but i still much prefer Touchwiz.
Nova since Galaxy S1. I like the customization and its very fast and fluid.
Nova Launcher Prime + Tesla Unread!!
Nova, for me is the best

Z Launcher
Please add the Nokia Z Launcher to the poll.
I've tried a few since getting my note 4, smart launcher is nice, then Nokia z launcher (which I loved) but the best for me so far is launcher 8 for Android it looks so cool on the note 4 screen

Which is better?
Go. Hands down the smoothest. Although battery sucker.

I would say Nova, but the new Beta version.
It's crazy fast (Set the Scroll Speed and Animation speed to "faster then light"),transparent statusbar support (the only launcher that actually made my statusbar transparent ) and has a Kit Kat look. Tons of customization. What more do you need ?
I have 2 launchers for you. First of all is Apex Launcher it's smooth and faster and the second is KitKat Launcher it's great to live KitKat experience.

Haha oh dear here we go again... just go with Apex its light on memory and has all the functions you need.
Plus this belongs in Q&A (just for future reference)

I can't believe you're discussing this...it's all matter of taste, and that's very individual. After all, all of them are free on GPlay, so try it, only you know what suits you best, and it cost nothing.
waking the dead is my thing!
any way....I have been using go launcher. found on accident. It is really neat and I am just starting to understand it fully. Now Im seeing here that apex may take up less memory?

I had Apex.. Once. Then I downloaded Nova Launcher beta and I´m still using it No regrets about it, pretty smooth and easy launcher.
Just my opinion
You should try adw launcher. It is the only one I found that has a categorized app drawer. Makes things soo much more organized. And you can just put folder-like category shortcuts on your homescreen for easy access.
Beautyful transition-effects, great dock customisations... Gove it a try, if you are looking for a new favorite launcher.

Alot of users still see ADW as the boring launcher they used whilst on Froyo or gingerbread, as apex is for ICS

Is there a launcher that allows alphabetical listing in the app drawer like in the samsung touchwiz?
I just installed holo laucher as the first since I bought my GN3 last year. it looks smooth and very customizable as I can finally change the grid's density from 4x4 to more icons in the home screen but I miss that one column list like app drawer from touchwiz
ADW .
ADW launcher EX pro is the best launcher i found for me
it is really awesome , just try it
fast , easy , have a lot of customizations

I installed Nova and I must say I'm pretty impressed so far. I can configure the apps drawer in an alphabetical list style and much more.
One thing I find a little disappointing but that seems to be the same problem for all launchers is that the non resizable widgets are screwed up if I add them to the home screen when the grid size is changed to 5x5 or more
I know there is the Go HD for pad for tablets. Anybody using Go Launcher Ex 5 instead?

Yes, I'm using Go Launcher EX 5 and works fine. You can play with the settings and remove the dock bar, etc to make it more like a tablet than a phone. Go HD is not getting developer support anymore...

Thanks for the input. I purchased the Next 3d shell when it was on sale. I was thinking of putting that on but the new version of Go Launcher looks pretty good as well.

I use Next 3D...love it.
Honestly Go Launcher isn't that great when compared to TSF Shell
go launcher seemed really laggy for me when i tried it. hd was fine though.i usually stick to nova, but tsf is a nice change every so often. chameleon works well on the tab too
Go launcher stil use cpu not gpu for ui. That's mean will very lag on high resolution. Not recommend use for tablet. TFS shell or nextlauncher good for tablet
I use Go Launcher 5 too, but it's a real pain to add widgets/shortcuts to screens because it will only add in portrait mode. I'd switch, but I love the transparent notification bar option.
Anyone know of any other tablet-oriented launchers with a transparent bar option?

Attached are the images of my setup with Next 3D. The home screen, my book/media screen, the folder/drawer view of the media icon, and the app drawer from the all apps page. The status bar has option to be transparent or solid blank...there are a lot of bells and whistles to customize to your hearts content. You can apply other icon themes...Apex, Nova, Go...name it. Hope this helps.
For all you lucky people out there that got your Edge already, have you replaced the launcher? If you're using a 3rd party launcher, would you please maybe share a screen shot of it? Maybe tell how the Edge features work on a 3rd party launcher
I'm waiting for Verizon to take my money and would like to have an idea of how it looks ?
Here is my edge running Nova. You can see in the top left the little bar for edge contacts. It still works great.

Thanks mate. Great news.
I use Dodol launcher. It's light and offers a good number of settings. No bugs so far.
Everything works fine on Total Launcher and Themer too!
I'm running nova launcher, i really like being able to categorize my app drawer. I wish i was able to use the touchwiz weather widget.

Check out Zooper Pro. They have an S6 widget add-on (paid widget) that looks exactly like the stock tw widget.

Nova Launcher Prime as launcher for me !
Touchwizz weather widget unacessible with Nova Launcher Prime but I use Chronus widget instead ...
L Launcher here, no problem with the edge
Using Nova Launcher. Crashes a LOT, but then so did Apex when I tried it. I'm on AT&T and 5.0.1 and those crashes a probably to do with the RAM management issue that Samsung just admitted (well, it might be Google's fault anyway)....
im curious. im still sticking to touchwiz for now.
what about you guys?
I'm not a Samsung fan. My gs3 I rooted and flashed cyanogenmod within 6 months, so just got a nexus 5 when it dropped, but this phone is so "beast" I had to come back to Samsung, but it's Google Experience Launcher all the way for me!

I use picspeed wallpapers just to get the option when setting wallpapers, best wallpaper "setter" I've encountered. Can set scroll or not, landscape, portrait, with any of those you can zoom in and out while maintaining the proper size box which can be moved around so WYSIWYG. Never use it for getting wallpapers and cant comment on the part but it carries its freight for me by being the default "setter".
I'm using Action Launcher 2, all edge features work.
Nova would be awesome if the swipe down actually made the notifications expand. For the moment, I'm using Action since all the gestures work properly.
I used TW for a few days. It was fine. I didn't really hate it.
But I saw Nova had a beta version and I love it. Been running it a little over a day now without issues.

yes it's really annoying. I don't think it will be fixed.
I'm using stock, I would use Nova if the animations were less janky. Also I like the stock clock and health widgets which you can't use on Nova :/
I'm using the Rootless Pixel Launcher. Very smooth and, in my opinion, a much better fit to the screen of the P30 Pro
I use Nova. No animation problems here. I have also used Smart Launcher 5. It's good but still lacking in some areas. For a month or two I used Microsoft launcher and that worked fine.
Nova here too, have played about with the alpha version of Lawnchair 2 launcher and I like it a lot but would never switch from Nova
Nova launcher.
Has everything I need /want.
Action launcher here
Used Nova to begin with but I find the quick page on Action too handy to keep using Nova
Once emui10 hits I will try stock again.
Stock on 9.1 actually wasn't as terrible as the media and youtubers made out.

Lawnchair.
Best Google-like experience IMO...
I use Microsoft Launcher, which I think is cool and very modern
I used OnePlus launcher when still on Android 9.
Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore with Emui 10.
So untill I get it working again using stock launcher.
Im on stock and its good for me. I try Nova, Action and Evie but stock work perfect for me

You know how to get the stock animations when going to the recent apps screen or when going to the home screen? All the launchers do it in such an ugly way...
