Hi,
I'm new here, I just rooted and just start using Xposed framework, Its very good.
Now I'm looking for a module to change the way the music is shown in native player, I mean organize the music alphabetically by artist name, instead of song's name.
Is it possible? Exist already?
Samsung galaxy s4 Gt-9500 with 4.4.2 android
Thanks.
Whats your native player? Do you use Samsung, Sony (walkman) htc, etc? Or Google play music?

Sorry, I already put it in the first post, It's a samsung s4 GT9500 native player.
Use the existing request thread for better luck and see if something exists.

Ok, so I see on alot of phones people using the Pure Music Widget. I go to use it on my Xperia Ray & it doesn't work. I look at the compatibility list and it says sony music player isn't compatible.
Is there a way to make it compatible or do I have to use a different music player for it to work?
Any help would be much appreciated!

I haven't tested this, but this should be a widget. Mostly used to add as widget to lockscreen via custom lockscreen app, but should also work when using as regular widget.

I love the fact that I can upload my music from my pc to my play account to stream my library to my s3. BUT i dont love the play music app, it works well. But its very basic.
Anyone know of an app that either adds features, or replaces it but can still access my play library?
thanks
Google play music app is horrible. There is something, I forget the name, that will download GP music to device so you can use a real player -- Neutron, Poweramp, etc.

Hello, my question is... I recently started using the Google Play Music free service, so I uploaded my complete music collection with the Music Manager software, everything is cool but I noticed that some of the album art looks kinda bad on my Nexus 7 (I guess is because the resolution). So my question is, if I were to change a tag of a song on my PC, will it be automatic updated to my google play account?
Thanks.

Probably would be easier to use one of the apps on the tablet to do that. There a few in the Play Store, though not familiar with any of them myself.

Hi all. Quick question:
I have google play all access, and I have stored the music locally on my device. I was wondering if there is a way to get all of my google play music files to play through the HTC Music app. Reason being, I want to install the Harmon-Kardon edition mod, but looks like the most benefit comes from using the HTC Music app. Does anyone know how I might go about sourcing all the google play files onto the HTC Music app?
Stock rooted, S-OFF, with latest OTA
Thanks!

The Harmon Kardon mod is really about enhancing compressed music, though it also supports 192khz via flac's, but you are asking about Play Music, which is compressed, even at high quality. The bottom line is that the mod works on all music apps, from Spotify, to Google Play Music exactly the same as it does for the HTC Music app. Technically, you can play the G Play music mp3's on any player, if you are rooted. You just need to move them to another folder. The down side is that the G Play app names all of the songs numerically, like 7483.mp3, so in the end, you are better off just using whatever music app you normally use.
another thing you can do is go into your default.xml file and edit the line pertaining to music channel (turning it on the rebooting, making sure the change has been saved). This allows me to play my playlists off Google music with the HTC player features, giving me access to the visualizer, lyrics (when applicable) etc, and the HK mod icons are active
Soon as I start a song, I get a notification that Music Channel is available, I click the notification and there it is
Hello guys, I was hoping you could help me out here. I have a Galaxy Player 4.2 and its music app is better than any other music app I tried. Most importantly, it has folder support which a lot of other music players don't have. I recently bought a new phone and want to use the music app from the galaxy player 4.2 with it. It's not on Google Play and I wasn't able to find an .apk of it. So I was wondering if there is a way to dump the music app from my Galaxy Player to an .apk and install it on my new phone. Or if someone happens to have an .apk ready to install I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
I guess that could work but I would use my computer to go into my system folders and look up the apk in the system files and copy it to my desktop. Then I would plug in my other phone and replace the music stock app on that with the galaxy players stock music. I'm not sure if that would work but you can give it a try. Also remember to take the music apk from your other phone and put it in a safe place you know so you don't lose your other phones stock music app.
