My Sony XZU GPU is running at 450 MHz stock, and Doomlord showed us how to overclock to 533 MHz.
I am seeing devices in 3DMark with Adreno 330 running at 578 MHz, like the Z3, Z2 etc.
Is there any difference on the chip?

My neo got Andero 205 GPU and my friends Xperia Sloa Got Mali 400. I know Sola got 1Ghz Dual-core CPU but my question is whic Gpu is better for gaming?
Mali 400 or Andero 205
Mali 400.
You could have got the ans using google too!
lazy you......

Nah,I searched Google but couldn't find any good answer. Many said Andero is better and Many said Mali 400 is goo But Mali 400MP is better and I got confused :S
Mali 400 and Mali 400 MP are different??I dont think so..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1050968 ..
Mali400 MP can have UP TO 4 cores.
Xperia U and Xperia Sola have Mali400 MP with 1 core.

Google for benchmark tests and maybe (user) reviews.
225 is way better, 305 is just old 205 on steroids ?

Adreno 305 is more like a cut down Adreno 320, it has the same feature set just less power.
Adreno 305 is equal or to much bettter than Adreno 225 depending on the graphics benchmark used. The only drawback it that it's usually paired with a slower processor and ram which holds it back.
For example in Nokia Windows Phones the high end devices its Adreno 225 is paired with 1.5 ghz core's with dual channel memory and 1gb of ram. While the mid to low end devices with Adreno £305 only have 512mb of single channel ram and use lower clocked cores.

Thanks
MT6577 (dual core) uses PowerVR SGX531 and MT6582M (quad core) uses Mali 400 MP2. Which one is better because said PowerVR GPU have 522 Mhz clock speed and Mali 400 MP2 have 416 Mhz clock speed. So in this case which one is more better at gaming performance and 3D graphics?
Better 3d gaming
It is natural that mali 400 MP2 with quad core will give you better performance but instead of going with MT6582M go for MT6582 which has same gpu with 500Mhz clock speed
Hello,
Fifa 16 UT:
Minimum requirements: 1.5 GB RAM, A9 Cortex 1.6 GHz Quad-core CPU or 1.7 GHz Dual-core Krait CPU, Adreno 305 GPU (or equivalent)
Lenovo A850+ with octa core Cpu @ 1.4ghz and only 1gb ram and Mali-450MP4 gpu?
or
HTC Desire 526 with Quad core cpu 1.1ghz and 1.5gb ram and adreno 304 gpu?
I dont really know how the Adreno 304 and Mali 450 compare , but the adreno is just 1 step below min requiment. And would the superior CPU make up for the lack of ram?
Thanks.
Due to overheating issues I've underclocked z5c cpu ( using this method and flashing the recompiled kernel ), is it possible to do the same with gpu? Which file do I have to look for?
AFAIK Adreno 430 runs up to 650 Mhz, 450-510 Mhz should be enough for my standard usage.

I have no idea but you could take a look at the Adreno idler commits...
Here is one I did to add 27Mhz as the lowest clock (might be a good file to look at), instead of 180Mhz...
All creds go to @arter97
