Hi Guys,
Im looking forward to buy a good budget smartphone primarily for camera.
Please suggest a good camera phone..would be using in low light and overall conditions.
i have narrowed it down to following options according to my research and reviews online.
1) Xiaomi redmi 2
2) asus zenfone 5 (pixel master)
3) lumia 720 (carl zeiss)
i would have gone for other higher end phones..but already using an xperia sp.. and the camera on this phone sucks..so plan on buying a separate phone just for camera purpose..any additions to the list are welcome..
While we were waiting endlessly for the second iteration of Z Ultra which never happened, Sony has apparently decided to shut the whole Z series down:

http://www.xperiblog.com/2016/02/xperia-z-series-is-dead-officially.html
This is the official statement from a Sony rep:
“The Xperia Z line has reached its culmination – Xperia X series represents a new chapter and evolution of our product strategy. Whilst the Xperia Z series was all about bringing the best of Sony’s advanced technologies to smartphones, Xperia X series is based on bringing smart, adaptive Sony user experiences across camera, battery performance and hardware / software design.”
To me, this is a grudging acceptance by Sony that they could not compete in the flagship segment of the competitive smartphone market. While Sony's Xperia Z series were fine devices, they could never reach the sales levels of Samsung's Galaxy S series or LG's G series. The Xperia X series will probably be cheaper devices but then, Samsung on the one hand and the plethora of Chinese makers on the other have already flooded those segments with all kinds of phones at all price points.
Sorry Sony, this is all but your fault. In today's environment, a fine phone with a few defects here and there will not simply cut it.
Life goes on.
I hope they will be smarter with X series and won't go with 6 month update cycle. Also, X Ultra, I'd want that.
Is there any info about support or is it open season for custom programing ?
the X Performance is the only one in the new line-up which I would vaguely consider, if there was an Ultra version of it.
I have resigned myself that a Huawei Mate 8 might be the successor to my XZU.

it s look like all xperia x phones has same screen size .. and there s no phab versions and compact.. if this is true it is really stupid move

I recently bought "I am Cardboard 2.0", but i haven`t got it yet. I`ll let you know when i tested it. people say it`s the best "non-expensive vr" like the 100 bucks Samsung VR or Sony`s 500$ device

Hmm thanks guys for your suggestions!!!I think that I can give 50 Euros, not cheaper than this and not more.I just dont understand what is the difference between VR glasses.I know some are more comfortable to wear but what other difference? And I think I need a VR with Bluetooth gamepad included as many games require it
Is this one good? http://www.plaisio.gr/tilefona/wear...rtphone-VR-Headset-Bluetooth-Remote-Leuko.htm
Hi,
I would like to buy this phone. The camera quality is on the 1. place for me.
I have read many review but everybody is talking differently...
I currently own Gionee E7 with great 16MP OmniVision shooter and I am
really afraid to swap it...
So is that 21mp camera good or not comparing to etc. Samsug galaxy s6??
Could someone upload unedited photos somewhere?
How camera quality is related to ROM updates?
Thanks!
There's camera samples everywhere, the sony imx 230 is very good at daylight, but for low light it is very under saturated! Also pretty noisy.
I reccomend to buy LeMax2 if you aim to buy a powerful device at a relative low price.
Otherwise, if camera is your number one reason to buy a phone, you should skip this.
It has a good camera, and sometimes you can take really good shots with enough lighting, but comparison with Galaxy S6 and others top-of-the-line smartphones is unfair.
Moreover, ROM developers are struggling to get full functionality with the camera, unless they aren't original based ROMs, so you are limited to EUI as of now.
And to add something, LeMax2 sensor camera is the same as these devices:
LeTV One Max X900
Meizu PRO 6, PRO 5
Honor 7
Elephone Vowney, M3
Lenovo Vibe X3
Sony Xperia Z5, Z3+, M5
Motorola Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Droid Turbo 2
Thank you Star_dust6 for great answer!
It seems I will skip this device because of camera...

You're welcome.
As for smartphones with a really good camera, you should aim for something like LG G5: is a little bit expensive (350 €), but worth every penny.
Hi so with my xz premium coming soon I'm still unsure which vr smartphone holder should go with.
Is the Google Daydream viewer the best option? I looked at other things like the zeisss one and homido and they all seem to have poor reviews.
I had the z5 premium but also bought some useless 20$ one last time which was uncomfortable and the lens were really far from my eyes. I wasted money then and don't wanna do that again which is the reason for this thread.
I am a psvr owner love it to death but wanna explore the higher res vr just to see how it is.

Can you pls review how well the Bobo VR Z4 worked with your Xperia XZ Premium?
Also, could you watch 360 4k content, and if yes, which APP did you use?
tnx
