Ok I seriously dont know what to do. I had custom ROM installed onto my new htc one, and I didnt like it I decided I liked the stock better. I have tried over 8 ROMs all of which I didnt like or the WIFI isnt working and I dont know what to do I need some help or advice or links on what ROMs I can use that are actually going to work and are fairly close to stock,
I am running:
HTC One M8, from Telus
android version: 4.4.4
HTC sense version: 6.0
Software: currently running Android revolution HD 22.1 by mike1986 (the wifi doesnt work on any of these roms.)
please someone help. Im so beyond frustrated right now I just wanna throw this phone.

Ok so i just very recently got an android phone, the vibrant, after over a year of researching and waiting. Ive looked through and found that CyanogenMod 6 is very nice, but it doesnt support Vibrant yet. I hate TouchWiz and I want to get to either regular vanilla android or HTC Sense, vanilla being preferred. I also need 2.2. SO is it possible to install another phone's ROM, like the G2, and install it on the Phone? If so, do i need any special procedures? And one last thing, if the answer to my first question is no, is there any way to install vanilla android on the thing?
EDIT: Solved the problem found a bunch of ROMS on the site. Please close this thread. Thanks Anyway!

No, you can't install ROMs from other phones like the G2 on this device.
HTC Sense is still being ported.
There is no full Vanilla ROM (Anderdroid's AOSPish FroYo is the closest you can get)
2.2 is just leaked for the vibrant though, no official.. And the leak has bugs.
ok thanks. For now ill probably use the one you listed or this other one, Onyx or whatever. When CM6.1 comes out, ill use that
I have a EVO 3D flashed to MetroPCS, with fully working internet and is rooted with S-on. I hate to ask probably a stupid question, but I have looked all over to find a MMS fix for the software version I have. I have tried each one I have found and they put my phone into a boot loop. I have had to run the RUU several time so far and it really sucks having to do that.
The specs on the phone are:
Android version: 4.0.3 ICS
HTC Sense: 3.6
Software version: 2.89.651.2 71ORD
Baseband: 1.09.00.0706
Has anyone found a way to fix the MMS with these specs? If so could someone point me in the right direction to get this fixed?
Thank you to everyone who posts, I greatly appreciate it!
Can you tell me how or where you learned to you upgrade your flashed Metro phone to ICS & HTC Sense 3.6?

The upgrade to ICS was done right after I got my phone talk and text flashed. The phone was still not rooted, and the HBOOT WAS STILL 2.08
Personally I would recommend not upgrading. I find more fixes, ROM's, etc.. for the old version. The HBOOT will become 2.58 and is hard to find a lot of things that work with it. If you are wanting to update anyway, you will need to unroot, and relock your phone. After that you can go into your settings, system updates, firmware updates. Hope this helps!

So I have an HTC HD7 from T-Mobile laying and I heard from a friend that you can install a android rom into it. If so, how could I do this? Does cyanogenmod work or just the stock version of Kitkat or jellybean?

Please **do some research, do some research, do some research**
This response is so good (I do not get tired).
Hi, please to anyone who still has a galaxy s4 or remembers there best rom(stock) from the old good days, please read this and help me out. Thanks!
I am looking for a stable stock rom on kitkat that has the stock camera and stock launcher.
I'm not doing this for myself but for my uncle because hes s4 keeps rebooting and going into safe mode for no reason at all and says lags a lot...
So, out of all of these roms out there I came across this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50359886#post50359886 and thought it'd be a good one but I'm not sure about if it comes with stock launcher and camera & if the latest version that is released has a dark theme.(because his/hers older ones says dark and light but the latest doesn't.)
I tried youtubing videos about it and also about stock roms but can't find the answers I'm looking for and if I had the s4 myself I'd flash it to try it out but I don't so I really really need someone who has one or remembers there best stock rom that they used when s4 was great. Thanks!
(I really need 10 post too lol so I can post in the actual thread so then that'd help a lot..... so yeah but maybe someone will help me out here but so far I've got nothing but 1 person but still hasn't answered everything I need help on )
Edit:
Totally forgot lol.... it has MDK on Verizon and not sure of the recovery it has on it though.... & it's on 4.2.2 never updated)
