There is not much i can say or do... Even the thread has nothing left... Some things have been taken down since the day it was discontinued. Maybe u could find other sources of info on the internet. I've update the thread op... Check it out...

Exactly, did you read the first post. This is intended for developers. Take out the modem and csc what are you left with? factoryfs.img so extract it. .. I hope if you are a dev you know what i mean!

sammy is blocking with kernel 3.0 i think, till then its good to go anyone tried yet

This method has already been confirmed to not work on the Canadian Notes, any chance of it working on the att note?

First of all, if this is for the EU Note, it's probably gonna be more difficult to port to the US Note than, say a ICS leak for the Skyrocket (same SoC as US Note). And secondly, the link in the OP basically gives me a 404.

Case in point. That will be another post that someone has to wade through to get information. It's much more helpful if this thread is left to developers to work on developing for device rather than posters doing awesome or yeah.

I'm downloading it now to mirror it elsewhere, but it's gonna take 2-3 hours. Really slow.
The host (uploading.to) stopped allowing downloads from American IP addresses due to the whole megaupload thing. A non-US proxy would work faster if you have access to one.

It is based on AOSP, AOKP, CM9 and and other sources + some personnal developpement.
The result is a really usefull and efficient rom that you can use either if you are a developper of an all day base user.
You will find a lot a feature. The rom is fully configurable.

Does anyone know what happned to Jokersax? Ive been checking his site for like a month now and its been down. I really wanted to try some nw roms and stuff on my old photon.

Anyhow, I just seen this on goomanager and thought I would share this with you since it doesn't seem to have a thread anywhere on xda...
I flashed it and it says its LiquidSmooth RC8, but the sound also works! I'm guessing its an unofficial build...
I can't post links because of the 10 posts rule... but its on goo manager, under SGA

Looks like RC8 isn't being released (think liquid is close or has released RC9 for their supported devices, so hopefully that will be coming).
Might have to pm someone that had the file.

I noticed that ManelScout4Life seems to be posting nightlies of the Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.1 ROM under the "quincyatt" header on his goo.im section (although they don't appear when you "filter by compatible roms".
I downloaded it, but searched all over the interwebz and couldn't find a damn thing on it...and since I'm not a huge fan of blindly flashing ROM's, I wanted to see if anyone here has taken the plunge and tried to flash it? I know he did the voting thing the other day, but I have no idea how that turned out...so I'm not sure if he's just intentionally not posting it here, or if they're just test builds that aren't ready for full-on testing yet.
Either way - I have read some cool things about RootBox, so I'd love to give it a whirl if anyone else (Manel included?) could confirm that it's not gonna take us to Bricktown or anything. :laugh:

I'm running Dirty RootBox on my N7 and its great. I haven't heard or seen anything of it for the i717.
