Hi guys...
I wanna make a nandroid backup of my device before I flash the new CM11 for my LG P710...
I've just one problem... My sd card hasn't got enough space to make a correct Backup (it's a 2GB space SdCard and the CWM Recovery gives me error)
Does the TWRP Recovery require less free space on SDCard for its nandroid backups?
Thanks a lot guys

Depends 2gb is way too small. A backup is around 1.5 GB depending on how much space you have. You can try TWRP with compression level to maximum but idk if it will work.

just use backup/restore for dual boot =)
that's tedious ..
Isn't there any other method for dual boot?
The thing posted in original post is impossible on this phone due to limited internal storage.

when i flashed completely, i restored my apps. i saw slow space notification and i enter to system setting > storage. i saw it. do you get this problem ? please help me. thank to reply !
I am not currently running CM10, but they have repartitioned the internal storage to reduce lag. What you need to do is move apps to SD. If you DL ROM toolbox there is an option to DL all apps to SD. You can also go to settings>apps>downloaded and manually move to SD. This should take care of issue. I also recommend going to CM10 thread and/or website and you can find in depth information about it.

i moved my apps to SD but internal storage space still is not enough. i hope that there is a member of CM 10 read and help me because i am the new member. so i can not reply at the topic

When you flashed, did you format /system? I read on a different thread that this could happen if /system isn't formatted.
Just a thought.

Just flash to stock or froyo using odin and repeat the steps up to Jelly Bean. There are several guides on how to use odin to return to stock.
CM10 has less internal room for apps. You'll need to move the rest of your apps to SD.

If so, we need a system dump.
adb pull /system/
Zip up all the folders and upload it. Then post it here. Please and thank you.

Could you also run "adb shell mount > output.txt" while you're at it
I'm curious whether the internal /sdcard is still partitioned as fat or that they switched to ext4 since hox+ ships with MTP instead of UMS.

It seems the sdcard is now mounted as fuse, which iirc means that the "sdcard" is actually stored in /data/media. So you should have a shared space for app storage and phone storage (could you take a screenshot of Settings->Storage?). I guess that you can also have files bigger than 4GB on sdcard now since /data is ext4. But this also means you should be careful with full wipes when flashing a rom because I think they usually just format /data, which in this case would also clear the sdcard.
Now if we could only get this to work on original hox

This would be an absolutely NO-GO! Hope you are wrong... Would be a pain to play with different ROMs with a 64 GB storage when it's going to be deleted everytime...

Can we not get a recovery up and running for now, but obviously express a warning that you have to back up your data before flashing as it will erase sd card aswell as data. It may give you some breathing room to finsh off your other projects and look into our recovery issue
Anyone have the 'Super Wipe Script' download link? It's from the Android Revolution HD thread . His download link is down , so if anyone would be kind to post a mirror link , or if you have it in your SD card, could you please upload it ?

I don't believe so. I never use the internal memory since I have a 64GB sd card. I recommend backing up your photos just to be on the safe side.

I use it all the time, it only wipes system files from android.secure, it does not touch anything else, so your photos will be fine.

Here is a version I like better;
ruby-superwipe.zip - 1.12 MB

I always felt these scripts were unnecessary since 4ext has the feature to "wipe all partitions except sd card" but eh guess it comes down to personal preference

It uses e2fsck, mkfs.ext4 & tune2fs to wipe and align the system, data & cache...the other wipe script just uses recovery commands... so IMO it is more thorough.
