Finally got my Unicorn Beatle today. First impressions are that its very firm. I was expecting the black tpu to be much softer but its very stiff. The fit is spot on. Buttons have a nice click but take a slight bit more pressure than some other cases. The dimple is nice. The front rim is glossy and the back rim is matte. Its a little bit thicker than I imagined but not to a point where its bulky.
Update: I no longer use this case due to it's sharp stiff edges

Looks great... Wish they would get back on Amazon for the cheaper price and the prime shipping... Right now I'm deciding between this and the yet unreleased diztronic ultra.
How does it feel in the hand? Grippy? Comfortable? Looks to provide pretty good protection!
Yeah protection is great.... But I don't like the sharp angles that you see in pics 2 and 4. Feels just like the spigen case that I stopped using for the same reason. Like I said I was expecting the tpu to be much softer and squishier. I think this may just go back because with such a huge phone the feel in hand means a lot to me. Ideally I would love a soft glossy black tpu border with a frosted clear polycarbonate back... Which this has the back but the stiffness really throws off the feel for me

In the past, they haven't done any kind of "transparent" or "hybrid" cases. You can ask though, the Diztronic CEO is pretty consistent on XDA. You can find him in the Diztronic N6 thread.
I do not have the phone itself yet, but probably will get it soon. I ordered this case and a few cheap ebay ones so I could get a feel for the size of the phone itself. This case seems very sturdy and gives me an idea how big the phone really is. It seems made pretty well and I want to get a dbrand white back so I can get the midnight blue and still have the white back I wanted. With the clear back it should look great if I do get the phone too.
EDIT: Did you get to test if this case works ok with wireless charging?
Got mine yesterday. Feels much better in the hand than the Spigen Slim Armor I was using. Buttons are a little firm, but I kinda like it because I haven't gotten used to the N6 button locations yet, and often pressed them accidentally. Oddly, I can't see the texture of my dbrand leather skin at all... just black and the Nexus logo.

I thought about that one, but I settled on the blue and clear one to match my blue carbon dbrand skin. I'll post pictures when it arrives, unfortunately there wasn't prime shipping for it.

I have the black version. Dont really use it much anymore due to the sharp edges everywhere, mainly by the charging port. Its really stiff, I don't know if it would protect the phone from a drop much.
Thanks. Interesting look. No way to feel the actual case unless it's in hand, obviously. But it's an interesting design choice marrying the TPU to the hard plastic like that.

Yeah, i'm looking at this case or the UAG case for this. I know UAG and have their case on my s3, it's super good. Probably go with what I know, just to be safe, and get a UAG.

I like the UAG a lot actually, however I don't like he sole color option. I'll post some pictures of the Supcase when I get it. I can compare it to my TUDIA Cruzerlite, Eva Case and Slim Amror.
thanks! yeah, I need the protection of a heftier case. I want the white in my new phone (when it arrives) to shine out, but i would prefer a frosted case, actually. or, have the case a completely solid color, so that the scratches aren't as apparent.

I have one coming via overnight shipping tomorrow. Amazon had it available for prime so I canceled the old one and ordered via prime. I'll post pictures and see how it is when it arrives.
I've got the diztronic ultra. Love it! However, the bumpers and sides seem to be a very hard material... Not sure how this would perform in drops (which is the only reason I have a case). Can anyone compare the diztronic ultra with this case?

I had the regular Diztronic but mine seemed to attract a lot of scratches on the couple of days that I used it. Does yours get scratches and makes easily?I wouldn't mind a ultra in blue or gray if it had the circle cutout too.

Hello,
Picked up a TPU case from Cimotech in Black, S style a few days ago and thought i would share my thoughts on it.
PRICE: You cannot complain about the price. Anything that is 1/3 of the price as the ones that are located in the store are a win. These cases really are the cheapest you want to go without sacrificing quality. Trust me, DO NOT get those full silicone $3 ones on eBay.
FEEL: The case is smooth for one half, and more plastic on the other. The "S" line is actually a design, where one part is straight TPU, and the other is a softened matte finish. The matte finish is very close to what you would get with the soft touch smartphones of yesteryear. The other part is also TPU, however has a more of a "sticky" feel to it. Also with this case, the sides are textured for grip. I cannot stress how much i like this. Under any situation, I have never felt like I would drop the phone with these grips. Definitely adds extra feel to the super slippery awesome phone that we have.
LOOK: To be honest, I always thought these cases looked cheap. Now that I have one, i would say that these S series cases beat the $25 ones you see at the Verizon retail stores without question. If your looking for something more rugged, I would look more towards otterbox
FIT: Super snug fit. Its almost too snug when putting my phone in there. However once its in there, there is no wiggling or gaps at all. the left and right sides tend to buckle when you pull them away from the phone, but that pretty much the standard for any kind of case like this.
BUTTON ACCESS: The buttons for camera, power and volume control are very tight. They work great and the tactile feedback feels better with this case than without it. I honestly never thought I would say that, however it does add a little extra press into each of the buttons. The Volume and Power buttons are both covered by the case.
Design: The case has a pre-cut spot for the SD/SIM door. This i thought was awesome, as some cases have that area sealed. The main, and really only negative with this case was that it covered the secondary microphone that's located on the bottom, back of the device. My recommendation would be that if you were to buy the case, i would make a hole (I don't know what method would be the best way to recommend) so that you don't loose the functionality of that second microphone. The phone will be expecting it, however I haven't noticed any call quality degradation so far.
Final Thoughts:
In the final tally the case is well made, looks good, fits the device, & the price is right, if it wasn't for the secondary microphone being blocked, it would be a perfect review for a perfectly priced TPU case.

Nice review. I have the VZW case with the kick stand. Its OK, I want a case with a clear back to show off its kevlar in all its sexiness.
I have the clear one that I just purchased off of amazon and I love it! Now I am just waiting on a black sample from the kind CIMO rep!! A full review of both cases will follow soon!

Damn I'm still waiting for mine to arrive from Cimotech...!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. This case is awesome. I first wanted one when I got my Skullcandy case for my iPod touch and have been waiting for one built for an Android phone since. I like the case because it doesnt fall apart like other hard cases when its dropped. It slides together with the small black bottom piece and stays together. I found it pretty cheap on eBay and would highly recommend it. Matches the phone colors perfect with the deep red.

Nice! Thanks for the heads up. How difficult is the case to get off incase you need to do a battery pull?
just ordered one in red. i was stuck between the commuter case and this icon case. for 8 bucks shipped. why not?! thanks
Pretty easy. It fits snug because of the felt lining inside the case but it's easier than one of those hard jelly cases
Cool, thanks!
@quikfinger00 is this the auction you bought from? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Body-Glove-HTC-Rezound-Icon-Case-Red-Flat-Back-Free-Shipping-9248201-/120840910311?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item1c22adf5e7#ht_918wt_1141

thanks 06stang and quikfinger00. I just bought one off ebay as well. I also have the commuter so I'll let you guys know what I think about the differences once it comes in!
Hey fellas. My case came in yesterday! this case surpassed my expectations. The red color is more of a dark metallic color and actually looks pretty beastly. All my prior phones (blackberries, voyager, incredible, DROID x, thunderbolt, gnex have had black cases but I really have to say that the color on this case is the shnit. I love the soft rubber feel and like the nice lip around the screen. Thin enough to keep the phone thin but thick enough to keep the phone safe in case of drops to the face. The interior has a quality feel (soft velour) to it and the phones fits snugly in the case. The case is also easy to connect together and remove for easy battery swaps. I have a otterbox commuter case coming in as well but I think I'll be keeping this one on more often except for when I need added protection or a more professional look for business meetings, etc, etc. I'll post pics tomorrow and will post back about my quick thoughts for the commuter case..
Sent from my HTC Rezound
Hey guys, so I've been using the body glove case for a couple days now. I definitely like the slimmer form factor compared to the commuter.
Pros: Definitely slimmer then the commuter.
It fits and covers the phone nicely so you see the whole screen (the commuter covers about half the htc logo).
Quick to get off in case you need to pull the battery.
Appears to be pretty sturdy and has a really snug fit.
Has a little bit of a less slippery back since its very lightly textured.
Has openings for the mics and what not where the commuter covers some of them
Colors and look is sweet.
Cons:
It doesnt have any internal padding on the sides so I dont know how well it would protect the phone from a hard drop if it landed anywhere besides on its back.
The back is still kind of slippery, but a little less then the commuter feels imo.
So far I like it and will probably only use the commuter at times if I know im going to be doing something that its more prone to getting dropped liked going out to the bars.
Hope this helps anybody thats been kindof iffy on whether or not to buy

Any paint chipping off? Considering the gray/black one.
Theres a tiny bit of paint chipping where the two pieces meet. It also seems like theres a bit of metal underneath that paint. Maybe its just chrome plastic. This case looks to be of much better quality then previous cases made by body glove
Sent from my HTC Rezound
Had the case since the beginning of January and it's looking fantastic. No drops but lots of sliding around on tables and banging around a car shop.
I bit on this case because of this thread, just got it in.
it is light years beyond the oem htc plastic case from verizon with the red back/htc logo...
this case is the bees knees for me so far... love it.
I have this case also...
Along with a Seidio Active case...
The Body Glove does fit very snug on the ReZound...
Question I have is, has anyone had an issue with the case scratching the gloss edges of the phone?
I had this issue with my Dinc and a Seidio case.
Lego
ya, i've had the body glove case put some small scratches on the 'chrome edge' of the device... nothing i can't forget about, but it's definitely noticeable.
Just dropped it for the first time while walking the dog. Ouch...
Pretty much killed the top edge of the case. Bummer
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201
I've had mine for a few months now, It's still in descent shape, had a few falls. It fits great, and looks good. I use it in combo w/ the zagg shield.
It did scratch the chrome around the edge of the phone, but nothing to terrible.
overall a great case.
I just purchased this. I've been looking for a decent case. I did like the Body Glove when I had it on my Original Droid, although it was a poor design because of the Droid's slide-out keyboard, but I still liked the feel of it. Looking forward to this. I should get it by the end of this week coming up.
I really like this case. Definitely better than the hard rubber one from Verizon.
Great Deal.

The Elago feels stiffer and less rubbery. It also has a higher side ridge (if your glass is naked, the surface would actually touch the case instead of the face).
The Incipio has more flex and feels felt-like. The blue color looks great compared to the dark blue of the Elago.
At the end of the day, I'm leaning towards the Incipio for the looks.
I've ordered a few of the Ebay slim, ultra thin, hard back covers. There is a glossy version that looks great. Once I get them off the slow boat, I will post some pictures.
I'm trying to avoid the soft, velvety, rubber coated ones, as they tend to scrape off..
i gotta say this thing is pretty nice, real thin, almost like having no case at all. Was messing around with it earlier and seems like if i ever broke/lost/crack my back cover i can just use this thing as a back cover since it skin tight.

Yes, I have both and the Incipio's side ridges are just shy of the edge of the Note, whereas the Elago is just a bit higher than it.
While they both do a good job protecting the shiny metal part of the frame, only the Elago would protect the glass if you were to lay the phone down on a flat surface face down, since it would be resting on the case whereas the Incipio case would not be tall enough to do the same.
I still prefer the Incipio for the color (Vibrant blue looks sexy against my white Note) and the fact that there isn't a cutout for the Korean antenna (Elago has one).

Which one is easier to take off?
BTW, I contacted Incipio and they have no plans for a white version of the Feather...bummer.
Neither are rubber. The Incipio has more of a "felt" like feel to it. I suspect it's some kind of rubberized coating that will probably peel off over time.
Both are easy to come off - just have to pry at a corner, then move all the way down the side.
Hello all and thank you in advance for reading my post. I do my best to “pay it forward” when I can.
I recently just switched my service over to Verizon (love the service) and bought a Note 3 (love this phone). I was using an S3 with an Elago Breathe case. It was a great case but more for light duty use. The Note 3 is so nice I would hate to have it covered all of the time so I would like to swap cases based on my situation. The slim cases go on and come off easy but when you get into cases like the Otterbox they seem to be a “put it on and leave it on” type of a case. I just want something mainly for protecting against drop and slight bangs. I “think” the Otterbox defender would be overkill and very large. So out of the light to heavy duty cases what ones go on and come off easy?

I also switch out batteries daily so the case is quick to come off and put back on.

Just any TPU case from ebay, which can be very inexpensive...will do the job and not give you problems when it comes to battery removal. I am using a goospery case....in red. I love it! My idea is that if you drop your phone anyways, you might be screwed...so HOLD onto it. Get square trade insurance...and you're good to go! Just MY two cents!!!

Both offer a bit of protection from falls, and great protection for your daily usage.

Nice, is that comparable protection wise? I like that case but I have heard mix reviews about the rubber on it. What have you seen?
This is one of my personal favorites, its a mix of TPU and a hard shell that is wrapped around it. The fit and finish is excellent and its not too bulky. The case also comes off in one piece and goes on just by popping your phone into it.

Always welcome! TPU is the only kind I've ever used on any phone and luckily, I've never regretted it!

How would this compare to the Commuter series?

I haven't had any problems with protection so far, but I do have two little scratches where I have dropped it, but no rubber peeling and no problems with the felt on the inside of it either.
Just purchased the Trident Aegis case from amazon for $18 and it rocks! rubber surround, with plastic backing (hybrid) superb protection, free sp. does not add too much bulk, and it looks great, Will post pics if you want me to. I have always used Trident cases and they are awesome, oh and it comes off easy too. I got the green one

In terms of protection it doesn't. Commuter is the stronger case and also has a much better lip to protect the screen. That being said the commuter also makes the phone twice as thick whereas the slim armour is a bit more svelte. The slim is also easier to take on and off from the phone although the commuter isn't that difficult, it's just that you have to do it in two pieces.

Hey guys finally ditched the samsung camp and got myself a Nexus 6 for relatively cheap here in the uk, xpansys selling for £250 with a free Google Chromecast.
Initially I was over come by the sheer size of this phone, and in now pretty worried that I'll drop it or "scuff" the soft touch case.
Anyone able to recommend a slimline but smart looking case & screen protector that doesn't take away from its looks? Thanks guys.

Best I've found over the past year:
http://www.amazon.com/Ringke-Essential-Protector-Scratch-Resistant-Protective/dp/B00O152P7G
The SF Black has a nice soft touch to it and it comes with a screen protector. I'm sure there are better protectors on the market but for an all in one package it's tough to beat. Only gripe is that I wish it had the Moto dimple cut out. That would make it perfect for me.
Third one looks good ?.

just run mine naked - love the looks of the phone
The incipio dual pro fits this beast well and has a nice grippy feel to it
I'm using Nillkin Frosted Shield case. Really slim and gripped so it's not slips from the hand. I don't really know if it's protects from dropping, but I don't really care about it because I'm really careful with my devices and I have tempered glass on it.
I got two different ones and use them both (not at the same time) depending on the need for the day.
The first one is really nice/inexpensive and since I got clear it doesn't affect my original color choice for the phone (which is white). It came with a free screen protector but despite rather significant experience at applying protectors this one didn't go so good so I removed it and now I'm just going without, but that's mostly because I use the second case most of the time.

The second one is a larger pouch case and it's my favorite because it allows me to keep the phone naked so it will fit in the Proclip custom mount in my truck. I can still easily hear alarms, notifications, etc with the phone in this case. It protects the screen and the whole phone very well. It's a little pricey but really good quality/construction. My phone is in this case like 99% of the time.

This is what I'm rockin' and I love it.
Even has a hole cut out for the Moto spot....

The OP was looking for a slimline case. That's the total opposite, probably the biggest case you can get for the N6. The Ringke Fusion is probably the one the OP wants. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ringke-FUSI...hash=item3aad336132:m:mm5wuDQt5cp30pfU-E1_3cQ

This is hands down the thinest quality case you can get for our phone.
There were a couple of links in this thread for Ringke cases and I would absolutely agree. Ringke cases are superb.
Also , if you are looking for a tempered glass screen protector then look no further than this :

Lol, I just received this same case yesterday. While I love the thin design which covers all 4 sides and back I wouldn't trust it in a drop from any distance. But then again I don't what something too thick because I also carry a iPhone 6s. Just couldn't pass up on a $200 Nexus 6.
I've got all three spigen cases, and supcase beetle. I really like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid gunmetal case that I have the best...

I think the ballistic tough jacket is pretty nice. It feels solid in the hand, good build quality etc (6ft drop protection on 6 sides bla bla bla)

I paid $14 for one on Amazon. Thing looks beast. The power and volume buttons are responsive as well. Probably my favorite case
Anyone try this case:

I see that the holster for this case is a snap in holster and not a slide in. Does the holster allow for the phone to be attached screen out?
