P780 went Safe Mode 😭 - Lenovo P780

So I'm running ROW S227 8GB. I drained my phone until it shutdown itself, I was trying to completely drain it so I booted it up again then it said on the left bottom of the screen "Safe Mode" and all the downloaded apps begun to disappear. Then it shut down again, then I charged it. But upon booting, all the missing apps didn't come back. How do I get them back? Although the apps are listed in my app manager in the settings, I can't put them back on my home screen ??? help me please.

Restart it again after 5 minutes. Safe mode text will disappear.

Safe Mode???

Popped my phone on my desk as usual on a night and noticed it was 'booting'.
Android had soft reset and it was booting up, the lock screen appeared and then it rebooted again.
Booted into the lock screen again...
I first noticed my live wallpaper was gone, so I unlocked the phone and noticed there were no widgets, then noticed "SAFE MODE" in the bottom left corner of the screen.
I turned the phone off then let it boot and everything was back to normal and no more restarts.
Anyone seen this before? Didn't even know Android/Sammy had a 'Safe Mode'
I have had that before. You should be able to invoke it by pressing menu during boot or something. As far as I know, it is a bit like Windows safe mode because it stops unnecessary startup processes.
Its been posted before what it is no idea .

[Q] Black Screen and Loading... Loop

Hi All,
I've been coming here for a good while, reading articles, looking up help tips, and I gotta say, XDA is super helpful! I love reading about the new apps and seeing what people are making. But now, I'm running into a problem that I'm having trouble finding an exact duplicate or matching answer for. I've been looking through the boards and I see some things regarding somewhat what my phone just started doing, but it seems like everything is for custom roms or kernels. The difference between them and mine is that I'm on stock, nothing modded on my evo 4g lte at all.
This morning, I checked weather on my phone, loaded up some music and headed off to work. When I got to my office, I turned the volume down to vibrate only and plugged in the USB cable so it charges during the day while it buzzes from twitter updates or txt messages, etc. Anyway, about an hour or so ago, I turned on my phone and saw the lock screen, but it was different than what it normally is. Normally the lock screen has the weather on it but this time it had just the normal field wallpaper (one of the stock images). I pulled the ring from the bottom of the screen to unlock it and the phone immediately went to a black screen with the little box that says "Loading..." for about 2 seconds, then disappears. The buttons on the bottom (back, home, open apps) are unresponsive. I can, though, see the bar at the top with the time, signal, etc. and I can drag it down and see any kind of notifications in there. If I click the settings button, nothing happens, however the bottom phone button to show me open apps, it starts to work. I see little app cards for settings, but if I tap it, it zooms to the screen but it's still black.
After about 10 seconds, I see the "Loading..." box pop up, disappear, pop up, disappear, continually.
I called my phone from a land line and I could answer, but if I left the phone screen, it was just black. Eventually, an error came up that says "com.htc.bgp" has stopped unexpectedly. I hit don't send the error, it goes away, and I'm back to a blank (black) screen with "Loading..." continually popping up and disappearing.
Also, I can pull the task bar down and select the USB option and then select any of the other functions...HTC Sync Manager, Charge Only, Disk Drive, etc.
Every now and then, when I see "Loading..." pop up, I can see a stock HTC image (the orange colored fields picture) flash on screen just before it goes black.
I'm really stuck and don't know what to do. I'd love to try to save everything that's on here if possible (images/movies saved to internal storage). But if not possible, then oh well. I was able to find this link forum.radioshack.wdsserve.com/t5/Sprint-Discussion/How-do-I-hard-reset-an-HTC-EVO-4G-LTE/m-p/17981 on how to do a factory wipe, but is there any other options I could try first? Also, what do the other options under this section mean; like clear storage, is that like wiping a browser's history?
Thanks,
Sin.
Update: My EVO kept looping the "Loading..." message, even when I did a power-off by holding the power button for 10 seconds. I found out, though, that if I did the force shutdown (hold pwr for 10 secs roughly), keep holding until it buzzed at me, then when the phone turns on hold volume down and the EVO will boot into safe mode. It would have the "SAFE MODE" logo at the bottom corner of the screen, but it booted up without anything other than stock apps on the screen. I'd do that, let it sit for a while, go to sleep, wake it up, sleep, wake up, etc. It never went to that black screen that just said "loading..." Everything seemed ok, so I did a normal restart, let it load up, and all seems to be good now.
I was using live wallpapers before, but when i switched back into safe mode, I made sure that just a stock wallpaper was set. I think that may have been the problem, maybe one of the live wallpapers got corrupted? Who knows.
So if anyone's having trouble, try the safe mode trick, remove anything crazy, then reboot normally...do that before wiping out.

phone will not turn

I used my phone this morning and it was fine. A few hours later I went to use it and it would not turn on. It is fully charged. I am running go launcher. I usually don't get asked which launcher I want to open it with when I wake my phone. But that screen flashed very quickly but I could not choose as the screen went blank very quickly. The screen was blank but the back button and the home button were lit up. I hit the power button so many times but nothing happens except the the 2 buttons lighting up. I went into recovery try to boot from there but nothing hapeens. It just goes to the HTC screen and hangs there. Its been on that screen for 10-15 and then I go back into recovery and still nothing. I tried to do a factory reset. It went to a screen with a picture of the phone and 2 green arrows going in a circle and a green down arrow inside the circle.
I have no idea what is going on. I have not done anything new to the phone. It is stock and I got Kit kat on it a few weeks back. Everything has been fine up until this morning. I understand the go launcher could cause a problem opening up the phone. But I don't understand why I cant do a factory reset from recovery. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
I also noticed that in the bootloader the very first line says 'LOCKED" is it supposed to say that?

Samsung J1 overheating problem

Hello,
I have a Samsung SM-J120M that's rooted with SuperSU and is on stock 5.1.1. The phone feels warmer than usual just above the Home button.
I open up CPU-Z and it tells me thermal_zone0 reaches temperatures up to 49°C (120° F), the battery never goes higher than 32° C (89.6° F), the CPU overheats only when it's not in standby. Oh, and all this is happening while it's 18°C outside my house.
This problem started four days ago, the same day I installed Nova Launcher. So I switched back to TouchWiz, yet the problem persists even after freezing Nova in ROM Toolbox Lite.
I wanted to restart in Safe Mode to see if I could solve the problem that way, but when I long press Power Off, I get no prompt. Even pressing Volume Down at the title screen didn't work (the screen hangs on there Samsung logo). I've wiped the cache partition. My microSD card is fine.
I don't know what else could be causing this.
If you could help me that'd be really great because this phone is very useful to me.
Thanks in advance.

Try this for safe mode
With the device powered on, press and hold the Power button (located on the right edge) until the Phone options prompt appears then release.
Tap and hold Power off until the Reboot to Safe Mode prompt appears then release.
Tap Restart.
Note The restart process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
Note Upon restart, Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the unlock/home screen.
also download from google play store Wakelock Detector [ROOT] .
Charge your phone 100% and then wait until goes low let's say 20% then open this app to see which apps drain your battery and which apps use most the cpu and cause high temp.

S9 Plus (G965W) Freezes and restarts to a black screen after a few minutes

Hi.
I recently bought a S9+ off ebay and it started to glitch and go into a black screen with only a few icons like the signal bar and battery icon showing. So I tried to reboot and reset the phone through the recovery menu but nothing fixed it.
It just boots up and shows "android is starting" then goes to the black screen and randomly shows that some system process (eg: System UI) has stopped working and gives the options to wait or close it. Neither option does anything. Other than that I'm able to long press the power button and get the power off menu, but can't actually turn it off or restart.
So I tried a stock firmware flash through Odin which completed successfully and the phone booted to the setup screen. But i can't select any other language other than Canadian English cuz the phone will freeze and go into the black screen again. I can only get back to the setup screen by doing a factory reset in the recovery menu. If I continue the setup without changing the language I can get as far as the connect to a WiFi network( which I can't skip cuz I wasn't able to turn off FRP before doing the reset) But when I turn on the WiFi it just loads for a bit and doesn't do anything or display any available networks. And still after a few minutes the phone goes back to the black screen.
I couldn't find any info regarding this issue by searching on Google or the XDA forums.
Please any help regarding this issue is much appreciated.
Thanks
