Got the green screen I think its the kernel panic mode ppl talk about. I had to restore my back up and efs back up also. I flashed and wiped caches again afterwards like op says

Just reboot and will be good let in settle a lil bit no need to panic for the panic

Nice TroNit!!!! Nice to see you here. Downloading meow!

The download only lets me grab an .exe file. I only see 2 download links not the usual 3. Most of the time I pick small middle one. That one is not there.

Installed flawlessly, thank you!

Good to see you still pushin' things out Tron. Keep up the good work.

Flashed on CM right? This is a CM based kernel, not stock. Plus not all phones respond well to certain kernels. My old S3 was very nitpicky when it came to what kernel to run.

It will not let me Max out my processor, every time I got apply it drops it down to 1958

Installed without a hitch. Any suggestions on settings in Faux. Thanks for your work OP!

Are u sure you are saving and setting up ur config to boot as well?

Thanks a lot @TroNit. Absolutely thrilled for a custom kernel. I never got out of the green screen-reboot loop, either. Any chance of posting a version with stock (cm) frequency and voltages? Thanks for your work!

I wrote this quote during our little "Inverted Gapps" chat early this morning.. " Thanks for the Link Man... I will check them out.. I've installed Revolt, Pac & Carbon..( Damn can't wait to run Carbon with the Uber..that thing is fast as hell now..) " And I wakeup Hung the Hell over and find this Gem....
Thanks Given... Happy Daddy Day Man..
I installed this kernel on your pac build from the 10th installed fine I decided I would update to the newest build and just as you said root was lost flashed the su zip and all is good. this kernel is running really strong so far haven't had a single reboot yet. Is trickster really needed as my settings seem to be sticking just fine with the performance control option in settings? kernel is crazy fast though jamie :good:.

trickster mod > performance control
with trickster you can turn bln on, turn fast charge on, overclock the gpu ect..
btw @kim621973, could you unquote the OP in your post? its not needed and takes up space thanks!
Jamie... you're the freaking man! Running this with Carbon and all I can say is DAMN! Thanks so much for this!
Love this kernel, especially when it was in the ReVolt rom! but after i switched to carbon, my phone keeps dirty rebooting after I leave the Trickster Mod app. Not really sure whats causing this.... I've reflashed the kernel a couple times and its still doing the same thing. @[email protected]

AH HA! that seems to have worked, sorry man i should read and re read the OP again ~_~..... this colds getting the better of me, but once again thanks for all your amazing work and help with my problem
During my Apps setup on Carbon, I got a couple of RR's but I must admit even though I always do a clean install, I did not run the root zip because you stated you only had issue with Pac one time.. So, I just re-wiped and installed the Pac package this time and did a Pac > Invert Gapps > Kernel > Root and this old Note is Singing a Song @ 1782 mhz.. 100% Rock Solid and no RR's.. I will go back and try Carbon again when time permits using the same install method I used with Pac and see what happens.. I hope to see others post their results with Carbon..

I don't know what happened with Carbon because I ran the same download yesterday and it was fine.. and I am currently running the same Kernel download with Pac and it's PERFECTION.. So, something happened during the marriage ceremony of Carbon & Uber.. But rest assured, that marriage WILL take place once this affair with Pacman is over..
Thanks for the settings pics Mr. D.

I would like to keep this kernel 'minimal' but I'm open to suggestions or ideas. With minimal I mean mostly improvements to the source, no instable stuff and no bloated options.
My kernel doesn't need any additional apps to configure it, all values are set by the ramdisk. Only if you want to customize stuff you might use an app.

I know that this doesn't technically works for a minimal kernel but in the lollipop kernel they had added 500+ comits to improve battery maybe you could port some over

I try to configure my kernel so that you don't need to customize anything, so impulse with tripndroid (default) is pretty good.

no, it doesn't
Add kcal and a sound engine. Also I would reccommend you upload to AFH. Google drive is slow for me. Also once many start downloading the gdrive link might not work later on.
Edit: Flashed it running smoothly. No issues at all (Y)
Flashed it. It's fast, but my phone has insomnia and does not want to sleep.
Maybe due to this, it's a bit hot and battery hungry.
Will try to wipe caches again and report back.
Thanks!
As suggestions, I'd like to have another hotplug (msm) manager and Lionheart governor for the CPU, and maybe reduce gpu minimum speed to 27mhz.
congratulations on this magnificent kernel, could incorporate some overclock CPU and GPU, thanks
Enviado desde mi LG-D855 mediante Tapatalk
Im using this kernel for a day and so far everything is working fine and smooth, IMO maybe is better to keep kernel minimalistick and clean but wery well optimized or make 2 versions 1 tweaked with bunch of sheluders and governors and 1 simple and clean. Either way great job on this.
thanks for the update, im falling in love with this kernel.
I love this kernel too! Its more fluid than stock and battery seems same. Definetely you guys must give a shot.
Thank you for this awesome kernel! Performance is amazing with it and battery life too!

calm down bro, as far as i can see, beside some useful posts in the past, you are asking a lot, which often sounds demanding, for stuff, features, roms ; instead of doing a little research for already given answers, instead of carefully reading the threads and instead of testing the things own your own and sharing your experiences afterwards. This just leads to many unnecessary posts, which dilutes the important contents for everyone more and more (similar i explained to you before already). . and again the last 4 posts, including mine, would not have been necessary. That's my point and i dont like.
Thanks for new kernel. I just installed it.
@tycoo sorry for the question, but I didn't find something related to that, is there the color calibration script included? Thanks in advance for the kernel.
Works well.
Thanks.
Working great! Thanks a lot tycoo.
For those wondering, yes, this has colour calibration script.
Im going to try it with the latest build. Thanks.

[EOL][KERNEL][G92X][7.0/7.1] N0G33K Kernel V7 - 24 DEC 2018

Mod Edit: Thread Closed per OP request
Welcome to the N0G33K edition Kernel
This kernel is built on the idea of having optimized battery life and performance. A well made balance between these two is what you get.
Read this first
Please do not post requests, because this is my personal kernel and I won't add any stuff I do not want myself (i.e D2W, S2W, AOD, sound control etc). Also I won't add any other support for other devices. Last but not least: I don't reply to questions like: "which governor/scheduler is the best" etc. The choice is all yours.
PS: You need to root yourself (Magisk on Nougat or SuperSU on Marshmallow)
Features
- Based on A810FXXU2CRH7 source
- Unified kernel that supports G920/G925 F/I/S/K/L/T/W8 models
- Upstreamed to Linux version 3.10.108
- Extra governors & I/O schedulers
- Linaro 6.5 compiler
- Always on display (AOD) support
- Wireguard support
- Knox 0x0 with safetynet bypass
- Permissive mode by default
- Synapse Control for OC/UC, voltages and a lot more
- LZ4 1.8.3
- Other misc optimizations

- Interactive governor: merged Galaxy S7 Interactive changes (android N changes wont boot, so kept it MM)
- Merged S7 zswap/zpool and zsmalloc android N changes
- Added Impulse governor
- Tweaked I/O Schedulers for our SSD + Zen V2 update

- Backported latest CPUidle driver from Linux 4.7 (should give better idle experience throughout the day)
- Other misc optimizations
V7
- Rebased kernel and kept it quite stock/light
- Doesn't use recycle commits (= commits that have been using in all S6 kernels for the last 4 years, without anything new).
- Based on the A810FXXU2CRH7 source code, which means that its newer than any G920x source out there.
- Upstreamed to 3.10.108
- Unification added to work for nearly all S6(e) devices (No A & P model support)
- Improved touch latency
- LZ4 fast 1.8.3
- Compiled with Linaro 6.5
- Added Wireguard support
- Great performance and battery life -> Ask @ananjaser1211 who copied the kernel
The kernel wont be updated anymore (no oreo support/updates), therefore enjoy this last kernel while it lasts. If something is broken in Synapse, then so be it.

Want to use this in your rom?: Don't, just forward to the thread.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for all the damages followed by or to your phone after flashing this kernel. If it bricks, wipes, explodes and you will hold me responsible I will only laugh
Known issues:
- Probably Synapse "backup profile" doesnt work.
F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Synapse says no UCI detected
A: Install Busybox to system/xbin
Q: I had a reboot
A: Only report it here if you didn't undervolt and do it with a log.
A2: If you had random reboot without undervolting, then make a proper log please. Which means I need a last_kmsg from right after the reboot.
You create the log by using this command in adb shell or a terminal or use any 3rd party app like Syslog.
Code:
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
Good luck .
Maybe you will add for g925F support to .

But never say never, who knows.
So if rhis works with 920f does that mean it work with 920i

I have read this.... i just ask... MAYBE
GL & HF
I lost RIL (signal) after flashing V3.
Unknown IMEI, but efs partition intact.
Going back to Arter v22 Grace, fixes this issue.
OP is aware of this, and will look into it, so have a nandroid backup in your hands, and be sure you have a fresh efs backup, prior to flashing V3.
It might not happen to you, but since some users have V3 installed already without issues, consider your self warned.

Yes like I stated the N7 compatibility is still in beta. So far this is the first case where there is no signal. I am taking a look into it.
Also people you dont need an EFS backup or something, flashing back to stock or arter N7 kernel will just be fine.
I'm happy to see you finally here ?

This kernel is more faster than artx and light kernels, I am of those who cannot see a little lag because that bothers me and this kernel keeps my device smooth...
I didn't tested it on stock and I don't think that it will work, anyway, I can try to build custom stock kernel but I think that it's too late now for build to marshmallow

So, default cpu governor is performance? I hope it doesn't drains battery so much, since I usually prefer to just use the default setting because I believe OP have the best balanced settings there.

Keep your time. You don't have to push an update all days. Let the users use it for a while and then report. One day with this kernel and report it is nothing. The system need time to get one with the kernel settings
G3X is pretty much beta. ArtX is not beta (IMO). If you want a more stable kernel use ArtX until this one gets all the kinks worked out.

I think I should also mention that I'm using RR 5.8.3 rom for F400 variant by oadam11, which is also have performance governor by default on its default kernel. Maybe there are something related.
Anyway, take your time, and thank you for your hard work.
EDIT: However, I've tried artxlight 2.1 but its governor wasn't set to performance by default. It was zzmoove.
Hi I have a little problem. When I flash through TWRP I get unsupported device and error 1. My device is d852.
