I'm not sure what I did wrong as I wasn't able to get root. Once I flashed the kernel, it will go into bootloop. Any advice?

you must be on ICS 672.180.33 EN.EU.
But there is nothing new with this, it's the same rom but deodexed, you might skip this.

I need to also install busybox during the flash, will leave it how it is for now.
will work on it being a full flashable deodexed rom, a base for other developers/tinkerers, flashable to the second system and rooted with busybox.

Framaroot 1.9.3 - Try another exploit if available (Error #9)
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip/superuser.zip (from kitkat rooting tutorial using CWM recovery v6_kk_carliv-mod) - install from SD card complete without errors, but after reboot nothing happens

I followed all your steps but after installing superuser.zip or superSU.zip using openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0rev2-p780cn, even though there is no error, nothing changes after restarting the phone.

It would be much better, but I haven't found anything interesting - can you recommend something? Is it possible to switch from a chinese firmware to any european one without many problems?

Unfortunately not !
Let me see !
One of my recomandations would be Baralajbi firmware an chinese based firmware ! Stable ! Good.
Seccond will be MIUI ! China based with google apps ! in beta state but good firmware !
Based on ROW (Rest Of the World) is Life 1.2 upgradable to 1.3!
This are my reccomandations !
I had a root on this specific firmware and this particular phone, but I lost it after reflashing it while got stucked without google calendar...

I have download and install Rashr and do everything to the backup point. When I press the Backup and then press Go it have same error and i can not do the backup. Do you know what is the problem? I root phone with kingroot and I dont have pc to do on it.

If you cant find any recovery for this model.then I think you need to port a cwm or twrp for your device.
It will be easy if your device chipset is spreadtrum(sc8830).

i found that blog and install every thing i can. but that twrp is 2.8.7.0. it is too old and not has the best compatible with android 5.1+

If you want the latest build of twrp then you have make/port it on your own.you can port twrp 3.1.1(the latest twrp for now) from sm-g316hu

It a custom stock rom build by a china guy, he only load to baidu cloud which it impossible to download if u are from oversea. There is some features that he had added in. U are a lady??

Installation instructions
1. You should have stock EMUI 8 rom installed
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Unpack downloaded zip
4. Connect your phone with FASTBOOT mode and run RUN.BAT file. Choose "1" to install rom
5. If the Kangvip ROM version differs from the last stock ROM installed on your device, you should also flash BOOT.IMG , same number as the last stock ROM installed

i have US mate 10 PRO BLA A09 8.0.0.9 C567, so is the v3 the same version, instructions little confusing, what boot.img do i need to install, the azip contains boot_0 and boot_r which one of those do i need to flash or do i need to flash boot from the latest 8.0.0.9 i have in my PC to go back to stock and there is no such thing as boot in oreo it has ramdisk and others as boot i divided into ramdisk and kernel, i am confused, please post more clear and simple instructions, i want to give this a try, thank you very much.

I installed this rom, it booted up but there was lot of bloat and it changed my imei to something and I didn't have cellular connection and after factory reset it bootlooped, so make sure you have the correct phone and software version.

I have installed this recovery via fastboot following the instructions of the thread that is now blocked. My problem is that all the folders with very strange names appear and I cannot access them. Previously I was wondering if I wanted to decrypt and put my pin and it worked. Now he doesn't ask me anything and I don't get that option. Someone would be so kind to help me .... Thanks in advance.

You need to format data with lrtwrp to decrypt if you want proper names
to make it permanent, how do you do it or can't twrp?

What did you do between "previously" an "now"?
That could lead us to understand what to do...
Like you explain you are forced to format data and loose your data as well.
You can escape from this in case of very important unsaved one by flashing the last eu rom via OTG or external SDcard.

This is stock rom?
Root via TWRP option might not work because of boot protection.
Best is to move to EU 11.08 rom. You be able to root via twrp and install YT vanced.

Surprise that Youtube Vance via Magisk download is no longer I can find them during from with-in Magisk Manager ---> Module --> download.
Glad I have a zip copy from few of my old phone I can copy to my new device Redmi Note 9 Pro and it is now installed & seems working properly.
Just to report this as strange from my device Magisk Manager canot download Vance Module .

Whats the advantage of installing YT vance through magisk, i install it through normal way (apk) and it seems works fine.
