Is there any possibility to port the PullUp app from Note 3 to the Note 4?
I had this app on my Galaxy s4 before changing to my Note 4, and I see this app so useful.
I'll appreciate any clue to port it.
Think @daxgirl has done it in the 6th gear rom. IIRC she had it as a Flashable zip

I have had it in my roms since first release. Get it from my thread HERE. Should work on SD Note 4's too but make a backup first
It is the gs5 home, are there any problems with resolution or something else? Widger compatibility??

Will you have the pull from left and long press menu, do you have the pull up from bottom?

I really love SGS3 Touchwiz launcher and ONLY two things about it bug me every time.
1. Home screen icons white text. If I have a white background wallpaper, the text is lost (white on white)
2. No setting to disable wallpaper scroll.
If someone knows how to fix these common issues, I will really appreciate it Thanks.

Is there a flashable zip for floating multi-windows on VZW GN2? I searched and found a couple of threads but they seemed somewhat complicated and quite buggy. I had this feature on my GS3 with Synergyrom and loved it, I'm sure it would be even nicer on the bigger screen. Sorry if there is a simple answer that I overlooked.
Here is a simple way of getting floating multi Window. I know of no other mods at this time.

Thanks I'll look that over
I tried that mod.... The only issue is the lock screen gets screwed up when you change the resolution.

Is it because it's built into the rom that it works so well on Synergy for the GS3? If so is it something that can be done for GN2? I ask because I don't fully understand what can just be flashed and what has to be built in to the framework of the rom to make it work properly.

Talk to echelon or trevE over in the Verizon s3 forum. They may be able to help us out.

Ihave the same problem, but I deal with the three shortcuts instead of five. Then I use an spp to control jist the lockscreen rotation. Im my opinion, the benefits far outweigh losing two shortcuts.
You can also change the dpi if you want all of your shortcuts as lpng as you can deal with smaller icons.

This seems to have no effect on my VZW Note 2. Running Jelly "Beans" with Nova Launcher and Widget Locker.
Are you hitting the save button in the right corner of xposed after you change your settings ?

Yeah same here on beans 13 didn't change multi Window at all. Tw launcher. Beans stock kernel.
Tried both resolutions. Tried different dpi.
It would be really cool to have this. I am not smart enough. Lol. But i know there are tons of smart people in these forums.

Yes, just like I do when I change DPI on all my other apps. I know how to use it. It just isn't working with Beans 13 for some reason.
Great trick! Working quite well on sprint!

Hi guys,
This is a method I came up with to have your note 2 device look like the note 3.The advantage is that it can work on any rom, rooted or unrooted.
All you need is a note 2 and a working play store. There is just one thing that I haven't been able to figure out is that the weather widget note 3 wont update (I need help on this one).So bearing the updating thing in mind, let's begin
1.Get the note 3 stock wallpapers from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2438493 (I used the fhd_03 from wallpaper pack 2 since its the one that is applied initially on note 3 but its your preference)
Credits to -Aatif-
2.Get the S4 lockscreen from here. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lockscreen.galaxys4
Its similar to the note 3 or should I say the exact same one
3.Get the s4 clock and weather widget from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.GoeloeDesigns.GS4clock
You will need UCCW for this to work https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget
With the right tweaking and settings adjustment you can make it really look like note 3.
This was my first guide ever.I hope you all liked it
Thanks for reading
Cheers
Can you post a ss please?

I have the same problem. I have a dock from my Note 2 that I quit using once I figured out I didn't need it. It works with the Note 3, but why can't the desk clock be enabled without it.

Yes that app works fine, but why should we have to install another app that will do pretty much what an app that is already on the phone will already (and absolutely should) do?

I miss it too. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like the KitKat clock has it. Details and download link here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/1...ixed-font-four-tabs-new-time-picker-and-more/

Anyone find a way to use them? I find most of the icon packs in the Samsung store pretty ugly or outdated. Just want to use a nougat icon pack and I'll be happy lol

It's not useless.
It does what the OP ask and does it well. No, it doesn't do the app drawer, that's not possible.

Yea I know about this, but it just makes short cuts and doesn't actually apply an icon pack.

Today I found this article (spanish): https://elandroidelibre.elespanol.com/2017/11/crear-temas-para-samsung-galaxy-theme-galaxy.html/amp/
Right now I have an paid icon pack run on my TouchWiz S8 (no root, no break Knox security)
I found the hapiness!
Enjoy it

There is another method you can use that hasn't been mentioned here that I use to theme side bar and lock screen icons (as I don't use Sammy launcher, but would also work for it)
Using tasker and app factory, make a task to launch the app you want with the new icon, assign the icon then export as an app and install, now hide the original app icon from drawer and you now have a themed shortcut you can put anywhere you want.
Yes it's long winded and takes effort, yes you have a few more apps installed than normal, but the over all effect is nice. All icons matching and all.
