On a lighter note, I don't have a sport; but, you do. You want to run a custom ROM. Here I present a 4.4.4 kernel. I did not build the whole ROM because the SM-G860P runs SM-G900P ROMs with a G860P Kernel. I will do a full build after this kernel has sufficient testing.
Step 1: Flash CM11 ROM for SM-G900P(kltespr)
Step 2: Flash kernel
Step 3: Reboot
Step 4: Report findings

NOTE: g860pkernel.zip is not a flashable zip.

cant flash cm-11-20141209-nightly -kltespr.zip i get:
this package is for device: kltespr,klte. this device is .
E:Error in /data/media/0/test 4.4.4/cm-11-20141209-NIGHTLY-kltespr.zip

installation aborted.
i think it has something to do with the way cm is making it for a pacific device! i tryed to flash it first(but i get the error) i also tried to flash kernel then the rom still get the erro. i notice this happen on anything aosp and in unified devlopement thanks for trying i think either rom has to be modded or cm-11 is going to have to be built for the 860p.

i just flash the stock 860p kernel and rebooted and i can try some things i am not computer programmer or developer

ok i still cant get it to work anybody else?
i flash your cm and kernel reboot and stuck at samsung s5 sport powered by android with the whole kernel is not seandroid enforcing ,and etc
i have tried number of ways meaning wiping everything to formating system, boot, etc rebooting recovery after wiping and flashing rom kernel
no go

OP Updated. Cellular radio is working. Data, SMS, and MMS work. Outbound calls hang at the dialing screen and incoming calls don't show. If you can help work on this ROM I can provide sources and/or ROM zip. PM me.

I forgot problem is when calling out it goes to calling screen doesnt make any sound and if you hang up it shows it hanging up and gets stuck there till you reboot.
