Hey guys,
I just enabled ultra stamina mode to see what it was like, then I disabled it. I left my phone on the table and came back to see it rebooting repeatedly.
So here's exactly what's happening. For the record, my phone is an unbranded Sony Xperia Z2 on the latest KitKat 4.4.4 , unrooted and unmodified in any way:
Phone boots up
Enters lockscreen
If I swipe past the lockscreen, I get non-stop "Unfortunately, *blank* has stopped." where blank includes any of the following: swiftkey, nova launcher, beautifulwidgets, but most importantly com.google.process.gapps and acore.
It's impossible to get past the error messages
After a minute or two, it reboots
Repeat ad infinitum
I'm not quite sure what I can do. Any form of rebooting hasn't worked. And for some reason, I can't boot it into safe mode. I've followed all the steps but it just boots up normally and gets into the whole loop again.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any ideas or solutions short of flashing a new ftf file?
Thanks guys.
Try PC Companion repair.

I managed to get my phone running Freex10, went to install a custom theme and reinstalled xrecovery, but i FORGOT to install busybox again.
Now the phone will not launch xrecovery. When I get to the lock screen all looks good until i try and unlock the phone. Then it comes up with infinite notifications telling me that every process has stopped unexpectedly. The phone will also sit at the lock screen for a minute or so, then it looks like its trying to relaunch the OS. It will do that in an infinte loop. Also, it shows no network connectivity when its in the lock screen state.
The only thing I can do it pull the battery and start all over.
I would be very appreciative if someone could help me recover my phone as I dont know how to fix it without getting usbdebugging going.
don´t worry just restore the last firmware with flashtool if you don´t know how this is the post what you need

First off all, I'm not sure if this question is answered else where.
I have my S2 almost since the day it came out in NL.
Today a problem occurred. After I boot my phone it keeps rebooting the launcher (not sure if that's the correct name). The phone it self stay's on, I don't go back to the Samsung logo or what else - just Android it self keeps rebooting.
I run Go Launcher Ex for a long time, never had problems with it.
I assume it's a memory problem.
Had a similar problem about a year ago, where my internal memory was stuffed. After removing some apps etc. my phone was just fine again. Problem today is I cant do anything. Connection with pc fails, because of the rebooting software. I'm not even fast enough to get to the Android settings.
Edit: I tried booting in Safe Mode. Which works, till it reboots into normal mode.. and keeps rebooting. And of course there's no time to get something done in safe mode.
- Phone get's really hot when this all happens. An other indication for a stuffed memory(card) I think?
- Removed the SD + SIM, no changes.
Edit:
I was quick enough to change the launcher to something else (i believe Nova, via Home Switcher). Then reboot my phone in Safe Mode with Nova on, then the reboot of the software starts again.. and it forces itself into Go Launcher Ex without Safe Mode.
Thanks in advance,

Go to recovery and wipe cache and wipe dalvik Cache. If still not working then do Factory Reset. If the problem is still there than flash the rom again.

As my main goal was to get my data from the phone I suprised myself a lot and I'm copying as we speak the whole /emmc/ via SDK tools.
It's gonna take a while - I assume it's copying the whole 16GB.
After that I'll try factory reset's etc. and check if I can use my phone again.
Hey guys! This is my first thread here, but I knew this site before. I've got an M4 Aqua E2303, Android 5.0, Build 26.1.A.2.167 (upgraded from .99 with TWRP to keep the root.).
The story : I've got this phone like 4 months ago, I was so happy etc... After it updated to 5.0 it kept restarting randomly. Total random, when it was not under using, if I use it, it does not restart itself. Sometimes the restarts occurs when it's under charging, and sometimes when I want to unlock it and use it, and sometimes total randomly, and sometimes it shuts down. For different verions the problem was different too. On 26.1.A.2.99 it was the worst, it restarded and stuck on the boot screen until reached 0% battery. On 26.1.A.2.128 It turend off the screen, but the phone was running and the LED was red (even when fully charged) and only started with the hard off button in the SD card slot.
I've got the default "Diagnostics" app, now it says that the Phone got system errors 42 times in 10 days. It was worse before (over 140). But it doesn't say why did it restart, I'm hoping for help from any of you, who had this issue and solved it, or someone who knows a better diagnostic tool that will explain what caused the system fault.
I appreciate all the helps!
Have you performed a factory reset? (It will delete all your data and apps)

Yes, when the phone was new and the restarts were annoying. It fixed it for 1 day. The next day it was restarting again.
This would point to an app you've installed causing the issue. Factory reset again and install each app one by one until the restarts happen to find out which.

If you used the pre-rooted zip to maintain root while updating to the latest android, this will fix your rebooting problem. Follow this guide:

Will try it when I'll have time for it, thanks for the help!
Hi,
So here's my problem. (Sorry, it's a long story)
I purchased a phone from a french company ("Archos") three months ago. The Android phone was working fine until lately when I've been getting random freezes. When I would scroll on an app (Twitter's Feed, Reddit Homepage), the phone would freeze. The only way to solve this problem was by rebooting entirely the phone. Sometimes, the phone would also freeze at random moments (on the Lock Screen, the Homepage, etc...) with the only issue being to restart the phone.
I tried to factory reset the phone but it kept on freezing, even freezing on the first page of the Android Setup Wizard (The one with the "Welcome" label and the "Get Started" button) preventing me from touching the "Get Started" button. After multiple reboots and factory resets the phone was still freezing randomnly.
One thing to know is that the phone was apparently running Cyanogenmod since it's primary launcher was Trebuchet. So, I tried to install a stock copy of Android Nougat (7.0) hoping it would fix the problem. The thing is, there's no TWRP image available for my device (Archos Sense 55S). Instead, I used an tool name "SP Flash Tool" to flash directly a copy of Android onto my phone (I managed to find one online).
But the problem did not get solved. Now, it's worse. Before, even though the phone kept on freezing on the first page of the Android Setup Wizard, 1/12 of the time, it would let me touch the "Get Started" button and proceed with the rest. Now, it won't let me touch the button at all, it seems like the application is not receiving any input at all. I know the screen isn't broken because the "Enter SIM Card password" prompt works perfectly fine and when I want to turn off the phone, I can easily select "Power Off", "Reboot", confirms "OK" on the "The Phone will restart" dialog box, adjust the volume levels, the screens responds! But on the Android Setup Wizard: nothing's happening.
I am desperate. It feels like I have tried everything. I cannot install anything else (through ADB & Fastboot) since I can't unlock the bootloader because I can't allow OEM and/or USB debugging (I can't access the settings without completing the Android Setup Wizard). My question is there a way to install a custom rom with SP Flash tool? If so, is it recommend? Won't that brick the phone? Or is it too late now, and it's over?
Thank you for your time.
Hi All,
I had some issues with the Tab S3 being stuck in a typical reboot loop. I managed to enter Odin Mode and Flash the Firemware via samfw.com and Odin Tool.
The Tablet installed the new firmware and then starts the usual setup mode. The tablet is REALLY slow and hangs up when I hit 'next/skip' etc. for terms and conditions, join WIFI network etc.
Then it just crashes and reboots. Sometimes it gets stuck on the device unlock screen when I try to enter pattern, sometimes it allows me to enter the pattern and restart the 'first time setup' process' only for it to fail again.
It's as if the CPU (or something else) is working too hard and glitches out and restarts the tablet.
I'm really not sure what else to do, anyone else had any similar issues to this?
EDIT: I managed to complete the first time setup wizard. Now it boots to the home screen. I can scroll a little to the apps, but when I try to do anything like open settings or an app, it just reboots....

Not when on LOS19.1.
Stock ROM behaviour is to long ago.

Is there a chance to install "cool tool statistics"?
This app I use on all devices.
It shows in the statusbar CPU load and frequency plus many other things and you can monitor that second steps.
Standard is every 2 secs.
