Good afternoon guys
Now I am going to explain how to get transparent UI. Here is what we are going to need
1-rooted device with Android 4.4.2 and stock UI
2- Xposed app
3- G2 tweaks box (google play)
4- G3 tweaks box (google play)
Steps:
1- we install all these programs on the phone
2- enable the last 2 apps in xposed and reboot
3- open g2 tweaks box >> theme tweaks.
Enable the first option (Enable Theme mode)
4- in the same app >> open Quick settings panel >> Enable editing
All what we need to check is :
-Use panel color for back ground (makes quick settings button background transparent)
-Hide label button (Hides text on the quick settings icon)
CAUTION: Never Never Never check the option "Use AOSP Quick settings"
This will void your rom
Then we go to step 5
5- open G3 tweaks box >> Theme tweaks >> enable theming
And enable "Tinted bars Mod"
Then in Notification panel, Enable panel mod and check:
- Use panel color for all elements
- Hide notifications title bar
6- search for themes on google and install them
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/themes-apps/mod-g3-tweaksbox-themes-sense-6-theme-t2884927
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/themes-apps/mod-gwbt-theme-g3-tweaksbox-themes-t2852754
7- select your favorite theme from G3 tweaks box
8- finally reboot
Again, Never use aosp quick settings in G2 app as it will cause your rom to fail
Enjoy

Nice find! I would never know that the G2/G3 Tweaks would work on our phones
@gabbo99 search on Google
Do you know any other G2/3 tweaks that work on our L7 II aside from that? Lock Screen ones appreciated,LG LS is really ugly.

You can change home screen size from 4x4 to any
5x4 works best
Just open G3 tweaks box >> LG Launcher tweaks >> Custom Grid size (Under subtitle of HOMESCREEN)
Then select 5x4
Also you can enable call recording and bigger caller picture in G3 Tweaks box from the option "Calls Tweaks"
If you find any other tweaks, please post here.

Hi These are some tips to themes your rom like AndroidL.. its not complete theming but theme your rom upto 80% similar to Android L
1) best theme :
I got this nucloid theme after long search which themes most aspects in your app like messaging, clock, calender, settings, system ui, keyboard most similar to Android L
Download link is here
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2_vOo99DI_vWkkxRm1QT1lNTUE/edit?usp=docslist_api
2) xposed Tinted status bar :
As we know dsb(dynamic system bars) s special feature of Android l design. But we can get it via xposed module tinted status bar
Xposed download
forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
>First download xposed framework installer
>install it
> open it install framework
>reboot phone
Then download tinted status bar from here
forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/mod-tinted-status-bar-t2457265
> install it
> go to xposed installer app
> go to modules option
> tick on tinted status bar
>reboot phone module will be activated after reboot
Tinted status bar settings
>in appearance settings
Tick animate colour changes
In overlay mode keep semi transparent
Keep full opacity
Now you're status bar will change its colour similar to app header colour
If in some apps status bar not changing there colour then set perapp colour settings 8n app as you wish
3) install material designed apps:
Most of apps get material designed grab it and install from playstore
www.androidpit.com/android-l-apps-with-material-design
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2796019
www.androidauthority.com/best-material-design-apps-for-android-523420/

Hello people, I have made a guide that shows how you can make your Galaxy Y look like a Galaxy S4 without root or flashing any files in recovery (I created this in stock 2.3.6 ROM with no root)
Below are screenshots after the transformation:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Before-screenshot -->
Lets start the transformation!
Downloading & Installing:
1. Download and install S4 Launcher and Lock screen:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/iciud12rlmbl4zr/twlauncherv4.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/vv6b3fnipgsw6do/S4LockerLens.apk
2. Download and install S4 Settings app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ion.setting
3. Download and install Super Status Bar (This is available in Google Play too, but the latest version doesn't support Android 2.3 anymore so here is a link to the second newest version):
http://gallery.mobile9.com/f/3008525
3. Download and install Weather widget (If it fails to add location, you can fix it by uninstalling the app, wiping cache and reinstalling it):
http://www.mediafire.com/download/s95fv8lt3k53k8x/YAWeather.apk
(Optional) Download and install the ICS search widget:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.u1aryz.products.icssearchwidget
Set up:
1. Set Touchwiz launcher as default launcher
2. Enable S4 Lock screen and turn on "Lock Sounds" for more realism
3. Place Weather widget to the home screen top 2 rows and place app shortcuts to the 4 slots below
4. Enable Super status bar and "iLlusory background" (Under General tab)
5. Change Super status bar layout to Classic (Under Advanced tab)
6. Press settings button (Left of Home button) on the app drawer and select "Hide apps". Now you can hide the stock settings app (as it's replaced by the S4 app) and some others if you want
Here are some S4 wallpapers you can use:
http://www.sammobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/fhd_03.png
http://www.sammobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/fhd_01.jpg
http://www.sammobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/fhd_06.png
I used this wallpaper in the transformation, it fits best for the home screen and creates a nice gradient status bar that looks good in apps too (not just launcher):
http://android.1pages.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/xperia-wallpaperxperia-z-wallpapers-hd---beautiful-stunning-wallpapers-xaqntfsc.jpg
With this, you will completely forget Gingerbread (At least if you don't open any stock apps )
This guide is made 100% by me (I gathered the apps all over the internet, most aren't even built for the Galaxy Y), but the credit goes to the developers of these amazing apps

1. Install Substratum.
2. If you're rooted just skip to step 3. If not, you need to purchase the Substratum plugin, named Andromeda.
3. Enter Substratum, proceed to Settings and check "Sungstromeda mode" (After March security patch, this step is essential for any overlay to work).
4. Select Manage and enter in Custom Navbar Overlays app.
5. Select from the drop down menu what you want to overlay, check the on top box and press the "Install selected" button, located on the bottom of the app.
6. Restart your phone.
7. Enjoy
If you want more navbars and want something specific, buy me a beer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=paid.customnavbar.overlays

sure. it can be done, but the home button will loose the pixel animation. will be in the next update ( do you wan the same icons for recent and back too ? )
The last and the back are not necessary, just the center button. Thank you so much for your work.
Dear the V30 navbar didn't get fixed in the last update I was too excited to update the app but the navbar still small and home button still smaller than back and recent
