whats your thought?
lattely installed L5.0 on my nexus 5 and really like it, saw LG thereat with Lollipop ROMs so would not be an issue installing custom ROM,
read many reviews about Nexus 9 and ppl say it is not worth the money, CPU is better than LG 8.3 so new Lollipop should be smooth but some users compalin on hardware in HTC nexus as well...
was hopeing for few words from you guys on wether you happy with Nexus 9 or not? would you recommend or not?
THANK YOU !
Love the Nexus 9, have no real complaints and it is a Nexus device.
I thought going back to 4:3 would be bad but it is natural for me when I use the Nexus 9 to read.
Google is still updating older tablets with the Nexus 9 I can count on getting timely system updates to a few years.
LG.... not sure may root it custom ROMs or hope LG updates the tablet.

Hello, this is my first post and am new to the Android community. I have recently switched from the Iphone 5 to the Nexus 4. So far I have been loving the Nexus 4 and the android experience. Rooted the phone and everything. Now i've heard some magnificent things about the HTC ONE. The specs seem to make it have a better performance than the Nexus 4. I know that the Nexus 4 will get any OS updates first. So my question is if I switch the the HTC ONE, can I root it and install Key Lime Pie myself when the OS comes out, or will I have to wait? Because I know that It won't come with 4.2.2 either. Will I be able to put any OS version on for that matter myself? I am new to the rooting scene and don't the all the possibilities I can do with it. Also will I be able to put the Nexus style on the HTC one since I am getting used to it? THanks guys
The availability of different ROMs really depends on the quality/quantity of developers working on the phone. Just my guess, but I would imagine the One will have a deep group of developers, so I would expect to see 4.2 and Key Lime Pie available earlier than later.

Hey guys,
Since the new Nexus 7 has been released and the announcement of Android 4.3, I was wondering what you all think about the Nexus 5 and more importantly what version of Android it will. Obviously, since I intend to purchase the next Nexus phone, I want it to have 5.0. However, in my mind, it seems unlikely that Google would released an update to Android (granted a minor one) that would quickly be out done within 3 months. The only reason I could fathom was that it would only make sense for Google to sell the Nexus 7 (2013 edition) if it came with a new version of Android. Here's my question: Do you guys think we will see Android 5.0 be released alongside the Nexus 5 in October? or is Android 4.3 going to be the version shipping with the next Nexus flagship?
Thanks for responding,

It will boot be a Nexus 5 and will be 5.0 key Lime pie, it will be a nexus 4 2 running 4.3 jelly bean Like the new nexus 7. the nexus 10 will follow suit (most likely).

Everyone not happy with their nexus 10 should root, add twrp and flash CyanogenMod 10.2 Stable then flash the original tablet mode I'm so happy right now,
Google have snubbed this device, the huge phone ui is awful and I was praying they were going to give the nexus 10 the tablet mode back with the lollipop update or at least give an option to keep everyone happy.
Anyway just give it a try and remember why you used to love the Nexus 10
My N10 has been far more stable after the stock 5.0.1 update.
Loving my manta with rooted stock Lollipop more than ever.

yep, phone UI sucks on a tablet.
seems pretty obvious Google has adopted phablets instead of a real tablet.
Google, you ain't taking my money again. (yeah, I'm butthurt).
Is this not a well received device? I love it and it seems like a better device, size wise than my previous Nexus 7 (2013). There were/are tons of ROMs for the Nex 7, why not the 9?
THOUGHTS?

Don't worry the roms will come. Nexus 9 is awesome so I don't believe the devs will ignore this device.

my belief is that because all(or most) custom roms use the cyanogenmod device configs
this device shipped with lollipop which not all custom roms have switched to yet, the big one being CM. I think that once CM starts shipping out CM12 nightlies that one of the devs will pick up the nexus 9
also the fast that no one wants to build custom roms for it because of the 64 bit support. i looked into building unofficial Cm for it and it was beyond my scope of ability
Heres one

I am looking at buying either a Honor 5x or a Moto Play X. I am looking for a dual SIM device that is well supported with custom ROMs. Custom ROM support for the Horo 7 looks pretty bleak, so I wanted top ask you if you think it will be better on the 5X. There is an early CM13, a fact that makes me somewhat optimistic...

The Honor 5x is a nice phone, but the number of users is small in comparison to a Nexus or HTC, Moto etc. The 6P or the nexus 5x will have a lot more in the area of custom development.
We were Lucky to get CM12 and 13 and the only other "custom" Roms I have heard rumors of were PA and maybe BlissPop but those are just variations of CM13 so their you go.
To me this 5X along with CM13 is one outstanding device and at the current pricing it's hard to beat.
Thanks, so the Moto is probably more interesting for me right now.
