If your running a custom aosp based rom on your Xiaomi mi3 you can install the remote play app and play your ps4 on local Wi-Fi and over internet or LTE. Problems with internet and LTE on android 5.0+ at the moment. Not sure if this works on miui os if you try it on miui please post results for other users. Here's the thread for remote play and instructions for install and getting ds4 controllers working in posts #1 & #3.

Hello everyone!
Just wanted to post a few teasers for the ROM I've been working diligently on for the past several days.
1. Source built Android 5.1.1 with Native Android TV UI and Settings.
2. 100% working AndroidTV versions of the following apps:
Play store
Play Music
Play Movies & TV
Play Games
Live Channels
Leanback keyboard
Leanback voice search (needs microphone)
Backdrop app (photo screensaver)
Hbo Go
Moonlight Game Streaming (Stream from Nvidia card on PC to Android)
Netflix
PlutoTV
SlingTV (WIP)
Termux Terminal Emulator
Youtube
Currently, all of these applications work correctly except for SlingTV and Netflix - these have issues that still need resolution before release.
3. CAST SUPPORT - This is still a work in progress, but currently, I can establish a cast session between my phone and the device from Youtube and the device responds - but video will not play. I hope to get this working with the help of Xposed before release.
4. Fully rooted and Xposed. SuperSU is already installed and working, I am currently working with NeoMode to get Xposed installed.
5. Android TV Remote App - This currently will allow to pair to device, but does not control. WIP.
So, already, we have a very solid working system image - I would just like to get the "other" features working before we do a release.
Additionally, I believe bluetooth does not currently work with this build - we need to fix that as well.
Either way, making exciting progress, and this should be fit to see the light of day very, very soon.

Hello, i recently have bought redmi note 3 pro (snapdragon) and tried to run udp stream on it. Unfortunately look like MIUI ROM has some difficulties to run it? I tried to use vlc app but it wont show it (udp stream works 100%, my old android phone showed it fine). So is there any way to tweak miui rom to make it shows udp streams? Currently using Version: V8.0.5.0.LHOMIDG (MIUI8) global rom. Thanks in advance.
Hello guys. I d like to know if there is a way to make sixaxis app for to work with all roms or it is conpletely up to the rom i m using.What i mean is that for example in miui the sixaxis app cant find my bluetooth adress(all 8 attempts are failing for connection) so i cant make my ps4 controller to connect with my phone.Pure stock androids like pixel experience, omnirom or even sone lineage roms are working with sixaxis app(can find my bluetooth address and connect usually at 2 attempt) but at the moment none is working even from thrm mayby because of pie software. Is there any of you that found a solution to this problem so i dont have to keep changing roms or we are doomed to this problem?? I ve looked all over xda forum and google but havent found any solution and thats why i ipen this thread. I even asked my rom developers but they dont have an answer either. Thanks in advance for your time.
sixaxis controller app doesn't working on poco f1 miui 10 android 9
i have tried everything to work sixaxis controller app on poco f1 but this app doesn't working on poco f1 miui 10 10.2.2.0 due to it i can't connect my ps3 controller to my poco f1. so now i am considering to buy dualshock 4, can someone tell me does poco f1 support dualshock 4 and can i map keys for it ?
I tried connecting my dualshock 4 on multiple roms, it pairs but it doesn't register any input.
Should work on the latest PIE rom 10.2.2.0.
Using it now on Dolphin emulator.

Sixaxis' tools last update was 2016. I can test later but I doubt if that will work properly with oreo or pie. Support on new android versions for that software has stopped.
