[Q] Restore Xperia Z2 Tablet to Factory - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I rooted and installed Cyanygenmod 11 on my Xperia Z2 tablet (SGP512) after making a backup of my ROM.
I now want to restore the factory rom, but when I do that the tablet reboots infinitely.
I tried using the Sony Emma tool but it doesn't seem to recognize my device.
I am back to CM11.
Any thoughts on how I can get back to factory state?

[Q] Bricked My WT19i

I have a rooted SE wt19i with CWM recovery installed and yesterday I wiped all the data, cache and system files to install Minimul Triumph ROM.
When I rebooted my phone it was stucked at the First Sony Ericsson screen and didnt boot into recovery. I have a Backup On My SD.
Please Help
have you tried flashing back to the original firmware using flashtool?
Yes i DId try but it doesnt even go to flash mode
Edit:I finally managed to go to flash mode. I flashed the firmware succesfully thanks kevin
First, I cannot find that kind of ROM for WT19i, could be wrong ROM to install. You can only install ROMs, that are built for your phone.
Second, you must have custom kernel to boot into custom ROM. Stock kernel only works with stock ROM. First install custom kernel(there's plenty of them in Development section, like X Kernel, Rage Kernel, bbooff's kernel etc) and then via CWM install custom ROM(install from sdcard).
Most custom kernels include CWM.
Please help me
I have brick my sony live with walkman, (Actually what happen)
i have a sony live with walkman, with rooted, Unclock bootloader (with test point method), and i install cm7.2 rom in that and the phone works fine, i want to try other roms for doing this i have wrongly deleted the system files using CMW.

The main idea is to restore your framework-res.apk. U can use aroma explorer if you have installed CWM from boot. If u havent, u should unlock your bootloader, there are several methods, i would suggest the unofficial through s1 tool with testpoint. Do you have a custom ROM build, or the official that came with your phone?
Take your battery off, start flashtool, put battery back in DO NOT power up.
Connect to pc when flashtool tells you holding back button.

thanks guys for replying.
but I don't want to unlock bootloader. so I flashed it completely using flash tool. And had to give-up my all app updates. Now working fine...
Install cwm this time, even if your staying on stock, so that if something like this happens again, atleast it's easier to recover without loosing data.

---------- Post added at 11:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:23 AM ----------
dont forget to wipe the phone before flash the new one
Try using flashtool and downloading generic 4.0.4, if that doesnt work use SEUS as last resource
Download ftf file for your phone and flash it using flashtool.

You should wipe data and cache at first, then install the ROM along with the gapps with it!

That's the first mistake I did. But how do I go into recovery or download mode now? It is stuck in bootloop. Please help me get out of bootloop. Thanks
Go to recovery mode, wipe phone completely ( cache, data, dalvik cache, battery stat if you want to ), then flash your rom. it will be fine
back to cwm again.

Thanks. I just did that. I flashed it but it came back to CWM again.
please help.
after reboot it came back to recovery ? Okay if it so. try these :
1. do as i said earlier + before flashing rom, after wiping phone , go to mounts and storage and formate /system, /data and /cache manually. then flsah rom and reboot.
if this didn't work,
2. then as the first comment on this page says, download ftf file (rom) for your device and flash it via flashtool. all instructions will be given when you'll select to flash ftf . dont worry this will work definitely.
but sorry i haven't asked you earlier, you have locked bootloader or unlocked ? because if you'r using wrong kernel which is not for the rom, you'll get bootloops.if on wrong kernel, try flashing right kernel for your device. good luck

[Q] Boot loop after trying to enable Bluetooth on Xperia mini

I have an Xperia mini with latest stock firmware and kernel, though rooted and with officially unlocked bootloader.
All of a sudden, after trying to enable Bluetooth (via Notification Toggle) - teh device went into a boot loop.
Tried using Sony Update Service - it says device is modified and cannot be updated.
Tried re-flashing kernel only - no effect.
Is a full firmware flash the only way to restore the device? I'm loath to lose all tunings and customizations...
Install another kernel with recovery and do WIPE.

Bootloader locked or unlocked?
I had several issues with restoring with CWMm some were painfully slow I didn't want to wait and some did reboot first time after restore but then it was stuck.
What finally worked for me was to flash stock and recover with one of the latest custom kernels for my phone

Did you flashed the kernel???
If yes flash an stock based kernel like "elite kernel v3"
And flash an stock based rom to relive your phone
The Repair with Sony companion doesn't work because you have unlocked bootloader. Use flashtool to relock bootloader en then use Sony Companion to repair Phone, or us flashtool anyways to flash TFT file with stock Rom and redo rooting and so on.
