I am running rooted stock kitkat 4.4.4 ROM on my moto E. I wanted modded google play by chelpus and so used 'modded google play installer' from onhax(dot)net. Realised later that it was for jellybean and ICS and so it wrecked my google play....:crying: I tried clearing data, clearing dalvik cache, factory data reset, installing new version..... But all in vain....
Download the latest un-modded apk from xda, if you have adb, force install using it. If you don't, just uninstall the modded version using any root app and then install the latest one.

Google Now stopped working for me yesterday (on a Galaxy Nexus using Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2). Here's how it looks now:

So basically, now cards are showing up any more, just grey.
Here's what I tried:
restart phone
Clear app memory
switch google account for Google Now
uninstall all Google Now updates (didn't help) and updating to newest version again
Nothing helped. Also, the Google Now settings are missing from the settings.
After updating to the latest version of Google Now and to Android 4.2.2 last week it still worked, it only stopped working yesterday noon.
Anyone with a similar problem?
Any ideas how to fix that?

I just signed on another tablet with my Google account, and Google Now works fine. So it seems it's not an issue with my account but with my Galaxy Nexus...
I fixed my problem by changing my System language to English (from German). It still works after switching back to German.
Everytime I try to download/update app on playstore, it always said "could not be downloaded due an error"

Previously, when I flashed the ROM and gapps, Playstore was working fine.
But just today, when I started the App, it shows me "No Connection" with Retry button on it. Below is the preview

This is play store apk. First move play store app from system aps to some other place and install it. if not works fine then uninstall it and move the store app again in system app and wait for some good suggestion.

Did a FULL WIPE and installed lastest Gapps from PA. Running ASOP 4.4.4_r2 with Xposed installed.

Done that on numerous occasion. Even rolling back to the older version. But once "auto updated" to the most recent version, I get those annoying popups

Yeah... Was having some issues with CM11 + Xposed and i thought was something to do with CM11 (or Xposed). Been switching roms (CM11 -> PA -> AOSP) with or without Xposed, still having issue
Sounds like your running android 5 gapps on android 4 to me.

FYI: This is not a 504 but negative 504 error
The only working solution what I found is the factory reset an wiping the whole phone, which is really annoying doing this every month. My question is, someone has easier solution for this error?

searching apps related files on phone and removing them
