Hi everyone,
I bought Lenovo A806 from china and wanted to clear the android so I flashed bootloader. After flashing with SP flash tool, phone cannot start.
If I connect it to PC with or without battery, it looks like PC find some device, but in about 30 seconds, it disconnect it and connect again. If I try to flash again, SP tool cannot find the phone.
I don't want to send it to china again, so if someone have any idea, it would be very helpful.
Thank you and Merry Christmas
format again with manual option don't use auto.

can you elaborate, about addresses ?
I fix it. Try to connect your phone without battery. It will connect with proper drivers (ADB) and you are able to flash bootloader and ROM.
Hey there I'm having the same problem - every time I run flash tool hit download and connect the phone, nothing happens.
I've tried connecting without battery but doesn't seem to make a difference. When phone is on I can connect the phone and is recognised fine but when I turn it off and connect I can hear it connect and then disconnect after 20sec approx.
Please could you give step by step how you got this to work plzzzzzzzz
Thanks

You can download it here: http://www.needrom.com/download/vibe-ui-2-0-1508-st-multilanguage-deodex/ or browse roms or bootloaders in parent folder.
Step without battery is simple:
unplug phone from PC

This method is not mine, i just only find it and share it with you.
Try it out, or someone who knows the method of the unbricking can comment to this method.

1. Install the flashtool.
2. Download the ftf file what you want. You can get it from this post.
3. Place the ftf file in C:\Flashtool\firmwares..
4. You should install the drivers of your device in your computer,.. If you had previously connected your phone to the pc using pc companion, then don't worry, the drivers are there.. you don't have to do anything.. If not, goto C:\Flashtool\drivers and open the exe file and install the drivers for your phone..
5. Turn off your phone, if you cannot turn it off, then remove the battery and wait for a few seconds,.. DO NOT connect the phone to the pc yet
6. Open flashtool and click on the first ICON [the thunderbolt symbol] and choose flashmode..
8. Now you will get a window showing the list ftf files in the folder... Choose your ftf file to flash.. And press ok..
9. In the main window it will show you the process going on,...Wait a few second and you will get a window asking you to connect your phone,..
10. Connect the usb cable to your phone, DON'T CONNECT IT TO PC YET...
11. There is a specific key for each device to enter the flash mode, find out the key for your device from below,
12. Now press and hold the volume down button of your device, and connect the usb cable to the pc.. hold the key until the flash tool asks you to release the key,..
13. Wait till the flashing process finishes, and keep in mind that, the first boot might take some time as it have to rebuild the cache and all..
Hope it will help

if you cant connect your device in fastboot/flashmode, then how come you changed kernal ???
you left with only one option mate... to flash stock ROM with flashtool...
why your phone not connecting in flashmode ??? have you installed device drivers correctly ?? and also which OS you are using ?? because we cant connect in flashmode/fastboot in win8.1..
reinstall drivers properly...did you try in another computer..?
otherwise try flashing stock rom.
I think this is a driver related issue..try booting into fastboot via cwm.

I have the exact same issue. Flashing stock S124 after (rooted) S223 with SpTools messes something up.
I managed to do a TWRP restore to go back to S221 but I can't use SpTools anymore.
I get the same SpTools error message. Only after pressing the red reset button my phone will then come back to life.

Your preloader seems to be messet up. I have one problem the same like yours yesterday. It took like 4 hours to solve the problem. The problem was like this:
The computer was not recognizing the phone when the phone was powered off. Sooo.. what i did: i opened device manager in the computer, then i attached the phone. Something new has appeared in the device manager for a seccond. I clicked fast on it. A small window hass appeared. From this step i was safe. I just updated the driver and that wass it. I could flash the ROM i wanted.
Hope this helps you.

Thanks for your explanation, you seem to be the absolute guru on this site for this device! I think you are right about the preloader being messed up. I tried to install the USB driver (again) for the new device that the computer now sees. It is listed in the device manager as "Unknown Device" under USB controllers. I can't seem to force it to accept new USB drivers for it (Lenovo drivers). It keeps saying that the driver is not compatible with the device. I use Win 7 64bit, could that have something to do with it? Also is it possible to flash a new preloader using TWRP? If I press the reset button on my phone it reboots fine (rooted S221) and I have TWRP installed.

Spoiler: What I'm going to say won't help you!
I've had that myself! The micro-USB slot on your phone is possibly damaged. For getting that fixed, you'll either have to quickly push in the USB cable and hold it there for a while until it is detected. The sad thing is, if pushing in the USB cable in any way doesn't help then the way to go is some service.
If you're lucky enough, then it may indeed be a driver issue. Please share your OS version and your architecture so that I could be of some more help - other than scaring you!
