[HELP] touch stopped work [xt910] - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello.
I have a big problem, an average day the battery of my device was discharged, and then put my phone on the charger, after charging the battery, the touch stopped working for no reason.
as shown in the video:
So I researched some things on the internet and tried to hard reset by following these steps:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Power up the phone by pressing the VOL UP + VOL DOWN KEY together + PWR KEY .
2.The device will enumerate with different BOOT OPTIONS
3.Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL and VOL UP Key to SELECT
4.Select Recovery
5.The device will start up with Motorola logo and power up to a little Android man logo with Exclamation mark
6.Press the VOL UP and VOL DOWN Key together at this screen
7.The device will display BLUE Text on a Black background .
8.Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll DOWN and the PWR Key to SELECT the option desired .
9.In this case , press the VOL DOWN key till the Wipe data / factory reset is selected and press the PWR key to confirm the selection .
10.Use the VOL DOWN key again to select YES - delete all user data and press the PWR key to CONFIRM .
11.The device will then start performing the Factory Data Reset
12.Once the Formatting is complete , press the PWR key to confirm a REBOOT
13.The message rebooting is displayed on the phone.
14.The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And ok, hard reset successfully performed, but the touch is still not working.
Now I'm stuck in the initial boot screen of system and if I touch one of the four functions below the phone vibrates, however the system does not recognize touches on the display

Never

The phone's warranty already ended.
The unit has also been dismounted.
The Motorola in Brazil no longer accept the device.

Hi,
It sounds like hardware failure to me. But for other opinions, I will have your thread moved to your device section.
Good luck!

How to perform hardware and software reset

Hardware reset
The hardware reset does not reset the Windows Live ID or remove any consumer data.
Because the consumer cannot remove the battery to reset the phone the phone has a special electronic circuit which cuts the phone power when the power key is pressed for 10 seconds.To perform the hardware reset press the Power key and hold it for 10 seconds. The phone screen will turn black (phone is off). Then press the Power key to turn on the phone.

Software / operating system (OS) reset
The software / operating system (OS) reset returns the phone to its out-of-the-box state. Note that this procedure erases all consumer data! Always first try to perform a hardware reset.
Option 1: About menu
- Use this option if You knows the lock code
- This option warns the consumer about data loss!
- Tap Settings > About > reset your phone
Option 2: Hardware key combination
- Use this option if the phone is locked and You do not know the code
- Note: no warning about data loss!
Follow next steps to perform OS reset with phone keys.
Step 1
Make sure the phone is turned Off. Press and hold the Volume down, Power and Camera keys
Step 2
When the phone vibrates release the Power key
Step 3
Keep holding the Volume down and Camera keys for another 5 seconds and then release the keys
Step 4
The phone will reset and boot up automatically

[Q] P780 Lockscreen Error after KitKat Update

Hello guys,
So after downloading the official OTA Kitkat update (phone was not rooted and never was), I tried installing the Chinese Theme Center so I can install other themes. When I was playing with the lock screen and stuff, this error suddenly appeared:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I press OK, this screen will come up:
It says that it will enter security mode but it will just revert back to the error screen above... it's kind of stuck in a loop and I couldn't go any further since I cannot use the menu/touch buttons. The only buttons working are the power switch and volume rocker. Sadly, I can't remember if I have the 4GB or 8 GB version (I do not have the manual and the box anymore). When I try plugging in my phone to the PC, this is what it's showing:
Hope someone can help me. :crying: Thank you guys in advance!
Install a TWRP version and wipe data, cache and davilk, or full wipe option is the default first option for TWRP.
Shutdown phone (red button near sd card), than use combo (power + vol up + vol down) and go in to stock recovery. When you see green robot, tap power button once, than use vol down for navigation throw recovery, and vol up for choosing option from recovery. Choose "wipe/factory reset".

Read through there, there's guides that stympy gave me to root my phone, although you will have to make sure you didnt do what i did and lose my IMEI and all, Actually not even sure myself how it happened but im happy with Jelly Bean again, not keen on running Kit Kat with all its buggy ****, lag, ram hog & battery drain.

Mine disappeared as well
Mine too..go in safe mode..by switching off ur phone then power it on and keep volume up and down button pressed till it boots up in safe mode..there u vl find close recent apps working properly..then restart it vl come back fr few days..den repeat again..simple...
happens when Google search Updates to 6.0
Why do you want to close all Apps?
I dont know about the update. But as soon as you remove or deactivate Google search the button is gone.
Booting into Safe mode then boot normally the issue was sorted for me...
To get into safe mode follow the instructions
1.Power Down the OnePlus X
2. Hold the Power Button Until Android Starts to Boot Up
3. As Soon as Android Starts Booting Up, Let Go of the Power Button
4. Then Immediately Start Holding Both the Volume Up and Volume Down Buttons
5. Continue Holding Both Volume Buttons Until Android is Fully Booted
follow the instructions from this forum
For me a simple restart did the job and it never disappeared again atleast till now
For me both restart or save mode didn't solve the problem. But I think in my case there is no fix because I uninstalled Google search. With that the button is gone. Its a little bit strange because in my other phone I did the same but the button is still there (other phone is in CM12.1).

Stuck in bootloader

Hi, I have a galaxy A5(6). Maybe it's counterfeit because I want not able to get into the download mode. I used a program called Samsung 300K Tool that did the job. After flashing a combination rom, t failed coz I selected the wrong one.
Now it states with the error SV REV CHECK FAIL. I know what it means the problem is I can't reboot or do anything.
I used all the possible combinations and still stays the same. No other messages on screen.
Tried:
V- , V+ , Home, power
Power, V-, V+
Power, V-, Home
Power, V+, Home
Power , V-
Power, V+
etc
My device atm is recognized nor in ODIN, neither in ADB.
Any advice.

Hi there,
You are right about one thing there are a lot of counterfeit Samsung phones,
However, you can try one thing that is to drain the battery completely.
Or
You can try and use Samsung Kiev to restore your phone since the phone is in download mode.
Try and use another pc it might work.
Or you can just search it on Google (how to fix the problem your facing).
Sincerely
KIBS2173
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM NOT RESPOSIBLE IF YOU DEVICE GOT BRICKED OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

firmwares have security versions like this
A510fXXF(U)OR(S)OR(D)(1,2,3,4,5,6)RF1
EXMPLE:A510FXXFU3RF1
NOW YOU SHOULD SEARCH AND FIND LATEST FIRMWARE WITH LATEST SECURITY PATCH
IF IN YOUR SCREEN SAID : SW REV.CHECK FAIL, DEVICE = 4 ,BINARY = 3
YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE WITH BINARY SAME OR HIGHER THAN 4
EXP: A510FXX(U4)OR(S5)RF1

Changing language to a pseudolocale and restarting bricked my XZ1

Hi,
I have already posted the full description here in the noob-friendly help thread but I thought I might get a few tips directly here.
TLDR: Developer options enabled -> Language settings -> Add language cibarA [XB] (Arabic in reverse) -> Set it as the top / main language -> Restart the phone -> Booting gets stuck in a semi-turned-on state, where system UI is not loaded (so I cant even fully unlock the phone), but the system is kind of running.
To illustrate cibarA [XB] language:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Any ideas on what I can do now to be able to get it working again? Eg. changing the locale to English somehow through an alternative way which doesnt involve ui confirmations?
Ill post this as a subquestion - I would love to try recovery mode, but no matter how I try I cannot get there.
Tried:
- holding volume up when powering on
- holding volume down when powering on
- holding both volume buttons when powering on
- rapidly pressing volume up after Sony shows up
- rapidly pressing volume down after Sony shows up
But only managed to get into Safe mode instead (dont remember which case it was).
What is the correct way to do that on XZ1?

Did you try with device off pressing volume up while you connect to PC? If I don´t remember bad from my last Sony device the connection to flash mode and fastboot mode are done either pressing volume down or volume up while you connect to the PC, a short vibration might happens and the led light turns either green or blue. Or try using the option reboot and keep pressing volume down (not power key).
