hi everyone. i would like to you if i can change the internal memory of the I5500 samsung.
i have only 187 mega, i need more space. i don't know why but android don't consider my sd card as the internal memory.
if i move my apps to the sd card i still need more space.
do you know some trick to change the size of the memory ?
thank you very much
Uninstall some pre-installed apps

cause your internal memory it's not the same as the SD card for android.
if you want more space, deleting stock apps that you won't use can give you back some Mb... more space only 2.2+ with moving apps to SD
or u can use app2sd or s2e, that use a partition of the sd card like internal memory.
For example I have 4gb sd card, that has 1gb ext4 (it is used for internal memory) and 3gb fat (that it's used for files and data)
But for do this u can have a cooked rom like cyano or mad-rom

How can i do that???
Hello Guys,
I'm a big fan for Resurrection Remix, after installing the latest version 2.0 on my SG2, the device starting consider internal memory as SD card (external memory card) and my external memory card as USB Storage (internal memory) and I can't install large games or apps without plugging in my external card, I don't know why this happened and how to fix it and get back as previous, installing games and apps on my internal memory 12GB.
kernel: thoravukk 2.57
Internal memory: 12GB
External memory: 8GB
Thanx for any advice,
Have a look at this post

Scroll halfway down til you see external and internal card.

Thanks for this - RR 1.9 and 1.9.1 had issues with SD card (detection/scanning) which is gladly fixed in RR 2.0
Memory mounting
I didn't face any problems with prior versions, but when I installed RR 2.0 mounting problem happened, the internal memory mounted to SD Card, and external memory card mounted as USB storage???

Go to settings>Storage>(menu button) select Storage configuration>Tick this option.
This sets your internal memory as the storage.
I read through the forums and I checked that the internal and external storage can be swapped in order to install more applications. On the other hand a swap partition can be made on the SD-card in order to use it as RAM. My question is can I use them at the same time? I mean if after getting external and internal sd changed [MOD] ExtSd2InternalSd v3|Increase your data storage|CMW zip|CM10|100% Working|
which storage will be used in this method [MOD] How to make and use a swap partition on the SD-card (SGS3) ?? So simplify the question. Will the second script recognise that my external SD card is the internal storage and the swap partition is on the internal storage?
Anyone tried to swap external memory SD card to internal ? Thanks.
