Hello people. I was trying to install a custom ROM, but i was having problems with the CWM recovery, it said that my phone model was different in installation. All ROMs for the LG P768 had the same problem. Looking for a solution I saw a post saying that would have to update the CWM, so I picked up a newer version. After I installed the latest version, and restarted the phone, at first it didn't turn on, but now after LG's logo appears on the screen that android sign with the red triangle. The same thing happens when I do the hard reset. I've tried using the LG Mobile Support Tools, but gave error on updating. I don't know what else to do. Who can help I thank <3

Ok guys I'm super new to this and have been searching all day. I got a Nexus S with Videotron here in Canada. It is the I9020T I made the mistake of trying to root it which brought me to the google logo loop.
I then panicked and followed the unrooting process to fix the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088494
When I ran Odin with the package supplied the Radio failed.
The phone will now boot up, however, the signal bar is grey'd out with an x which I'm assuming is because I have no radio.
I should also mention my phone is 3g and the odin package is 4g which I'm assuming is one of the reasons it did not work.
I would just like to know what to do to bring the whole thing back to stock. I have tried the bootloader recovery but it just gives me the android guy with a triangle and an exclamation point inside.
I have also tried factory reset and another odin package which just hangs.
Could someone please tell me exactly what to do as this is a work phone, and I'm in a lot of trouble if I can't fix it.
I beg you please help before work tomorrow!!
Thanks guys,
Chris
Hi I have Motorola Defy phone, which is rooted and I already update it on Android 4.1 once. But I wanted to make some changes so I made new update with this version: cm-10.2-20130801 and mini GAPPS both from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1768702. But when I try to start a phone the note: "Setup Wizard has stopped working" shows up and i can't do anything with that.
So I tried to get in recovery mode and install another version, but the yellow exclemation mark with green android (which apparently shows up in phones without root) shows up and then i can get in something like recovery mode in unrooted phone. There are only 4 options.
I'm starting to get really desperate because I really don't know what to do. I'll be very glad if somebody can help me and I'm considering some kind of reward for helping me.
Thank you.
and i need serious help. I have a LG Optimus L9 LP769 and I tried flashing a new rom but it ended up just booting into recovery but it has a red triangle with an exclamation in it. It was my mistake as I flashed a rom that was for another device. I misread as it was LP790 or 760 or something like that. I haven't been able to boot into cwm recovery since then. I need serious help as its my dad's personal phone and I really need a solution that does not delete any pictures or any personal data. I know, i ****ed up and didn't back up anything.
Also, my computer will not recognize it so i can't do anything through the computer. ADB recognizes it but I can't really make it do anything other than reboot. Fastboot just hangs saying "Waiting for device". I've tried various methods that I've found here on xda but none of them have worked for me.
Please help and thank you
Hi guys, I`m new to this forum and I wouldn`t be posting this topic if I found a solution on other forums. If anyone had a problem like mine, or saw a thread before, I would appreciate if you pasted a link to the solution, or gave some kind of advice.
First of all, I`m new to rooting, custom roms, etc., so I guess that whatever I did, it was my fault. I got this Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) as a gift, and since i already had a phone, I wanted to take a risk and take a shot at installing a lollipop rom. I watched a few tutorials, it seemed simple enough, so i thought why the hell not, but in the process something went wrong...
Sooo... here is what I`ve done:
1.) Rooted my phone with VROOT
2.) Flashed custom recovery with ODIN. I`m not sure which version of CWM it was, 6.0.4.5 I think (the file is named CWM KitKar compatible-I9100). When I flashed CWM, my phone didn`t boot up. All I got was a Samsung Galaxy logo and a yellow triangle for a few seconds before my screen went black again, but I could still access both recovery mode and download mode using the combination of keys.
3.) And then I did what I think screwed up my phone. I thought maybe flashing a lollipop rom through recovery would solve the issue (maybe the recovery is incopatible with my older stock rom and it`s the reason why my phone isn`t booting). So i flashed CM12 from galaxys2root.com. It`s called CM12.1S ROM for Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 (Andorid 5.1)
Not only it didn`t solve my problem, I still can`t get my phone to boot (now I get a samsung logo and a yellow triangle, but screen doesn`t go black after a few seconds, I left it in this state till the battery ran out and still nothing). And on the top of all things, I can`t get my phone to recovery mode anymore, all I get is the yellow triangle. I can still get it into download mode, but it doesn`t connect with my PC anymore. It charges, but I can`t connect it with ODIN anymore. And the weirdest thing is, when I connect it to PC, my other USB port goes crazy and disconnect my USB Wi-Fi adapter
What went wrong? Any advice is highly anticipated. :good:
Hello guys, so I got this l9 P768 model which is apparently stuck at lg logo screen. I've already tried hard reset ( volume down, lock and home ), but sometimes it get to the home screen where numerous errors come up, such as Unfortunately, home has stopped and etc. Even when I make it work, I get different problems such as not being able to use wi fi, or keyboard, or if i restart it - it gets stuck on logo, again.
Note : Previous user said automatic software update failed to finish the process, so I thought it was the main problem, somehow I managed to start the update, it downloaded filed, but failed to install it ( it was 4.1 update ).
Since I'm complete noob, I'd appreciate if you could give me few hints what should I do first, I know I should flash new firmware, but since I've never done that, some help would be appreciated
Since you're a complete noob, start with reading these forums, General is a good place to start. The answers are here.
