I have 1. ADB Shell installed on my Win -7 PC 2. I have Rooted Android 3. USB cable
Please let me know what else I need to write commands for Mobile through PC. and step by step process of doing it.
If I connect as mentioned, how to avoid my mobile being charged if I have to measure battery.. Any help is appreciated

I just recieved my Xperia S phone
When i connected my phone, it asked me to install pc companion , i did it .
Now when i connect the phone it says USB device cannot be recognised and even the PC companion is not detecting the phone!

Unplug the data cable, reboot both the phone and the PC and see if it works. I had a similar issue yesterday and a reboot solved it.
And if you have already installed the device (Xperia S) then in Windows 7 go to Control Panel- Devices and Printers and check if Xperia S is listed there. If yes open it and change general settings - Open Windows Explorer to view files when device is connected.
I am having trouble with installing drivers for
1. PCI Simple Communications Controller
2. SM Bus Controller
3. SEMC HSUSB Device
Can anybody tell me where can i find drivers for these?
I have same problem, when i connected usb on to my phone its charging. There is no option asking MTP or MSC,,, please help to fix this problem guys
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with my Samsung i5500. Every time i try to connect it to a PC it is not detected as a mass memory device and gos straight into charging mode just like i would connect the phone to the socket charger. The PC does not recognize the phone, it doesn't do anything, just like i never connected the phone through the USB port, but the phone is charging.
I tried to connect the phone on 3 different computers using 3 different micro-usb cables. On all 3 computers I installed the latest drivers for the i5500 and the same problem occurs every time.
Can anyone please help me with an advice. What should I do in order to get my phone connected and recognized by the PC?
In case you it helps you to know, I am using the stock 2.2 ROM and the phone is not rooted.

If you use windows 8 or 8.1 then you will have to extract the file you download from the link above and then right click on the .exe file and go to 'properties', in that go to 'compatibility' and in that choose your operating system as "WINDOWS 7" and check the option below 'always run as administrator' and there you go. Double click on .exe file and follow steps. Install drivers. No need to restart the pc also. (if your phone also do not detect after installing these drivers only then restart).
Can you just try this out? I know it is maybe not driver problem but still you can try this.

hi guys i m gona tell u how to install adb for any android phone . it is tested on mmx a35 which do not have preinstalled drivers
REQUIREMENTS:
1) windows pc or laptop
2) moborobo pc suite (you can google it and download it)
PROCEDURE
1) atach ur android device with USB debugging 'on' using a usb cable to a computer.
2) driver installation will fail . disconnect ur device .(first 2 steps are important)
3) download moborobo pc suite
4) atach ur device with usb debugging and usb storage on . moborobo startup menu will show up or other wise manually start moborobo
5) moborobo will start installation of drivers . if it do not start automatically click REFRESH button on top right corner (you must have internet connection enabled on ur pc )
6) it will install drivers of ur android device and ur device name will show up
now u have sucessfully installed ADB drivers of ur android device
now u can root or perform other development on ur device through this

Hi everybody! I want to use ADB to push a script to an android device, run it and disconnect the USB cable. My problem is that when I unplug the cable, script stops running. How can I do this?

Drivers aren't needed for Windows 10. Are you connecting to it USB-C to USB-C or using an adapter from USB-A to USB-C?
Yes there is no need to download drivers. They will install themselves once you connect your device to the Computer/laptop. Few suggestions try one by one:
1. Restart the computer.
2. Enable developers mode(USB debugging) on your phone and then connect the phone to your computer. If your device is still unable to detect your phone.
3. Change the USB plug your connecting through.
4. Update your PC to the latest update and try again.
