I'm a smart guy and Android developer and had the Mate 2 since release. why make a custom rom when you have root and 90% of gravity box works. Lollipop ? coming soon.

I do t know about you but my phone runs smoother then my xperia z ultra and is why it's my daily driver.

Lollipop is not definite until it arrives. I don't know much about gravity box but, I feel it is only a hack. A real aosp or cyanogen rom gives you more freedom and customization. So, we still need a smart kid who isn't happy with the current rom .

90% of gravitybox works ??? Lots of features don't seem to work in mine. Would you mind outlining what doesn't work. For instance, network speed indicator in gravitybox doesn't work for me. Does it work for you ?

Hi i just rooted my gs3 and got Paranoidandroid rom.
My settings, contacts, mails can get to landscape mode but my home screen and apps screen wont change when i tilt my fone.
any help would be great.

Should be able to mark the rotation in there.

Hey there! I was just wondering if we could use the phone.apk and conversations.apk of an Xperia ROM on Huawei Y201 PRO.
I found the apks but when I pushed them to system/app, they don't work. When I remove the phone.apk (original), my phone stops getting signals. Please, help me out on how I could implement this in my ROM.
Your help will surely be really grateful.
Would like to know this too, Samsungs apps look cheap.

An AOSP based Shortcut that was enabled from the side of screen..
As I was using Neo V and Arc S, I were having a Launcher-cum-Shortcut it was a half Circle type Shortcut based on AOSP ROMs that was Awesome!! here on XDA it has a thread for the same. Fopr customizing it and modding it. And By the way I think it is also available in PlayStore I think but I just forget the name. If it could be on Canvas HD it is just a WoW!!! thing... i love to have that on my HD!!:silly:

Yeah I got them working. I download with chrome using incognito that seems to work and keep from getting that error. I am using Skydragon 2.1

[/COLOR]As far as I know, you would need to port the Sony framework to the CM ROM. I think there is a thread teaching to do that in the "Sony Cross-development" Forum.
I did not try it but honestly I think is not worth it.
PS: I could be completely wrong!
