Okay, I'm developing custom rom for Micromax Canvas Tab P650. I want to do something different so as I have completed it 75%, I want to change animation that occur when Android version is tapped often. Yes, I know its not an animation but I want to modify it into an .MP4 or any format video that will occour if tapped often. maybe I think its from setting application, But a developer can also modify an app hh? So, just if there an windows app or an android app, if not should be developed? Whatever I'm just a noob so I didn't wan't any hard method that took away my lot of brain. And I'm just new to XDA Developer Forum. Thanks..

I have a question about browsers....
I have tried many different browsers (mostly the popular ones) and have tried to access the music on my reverbnation page...unfortunately it will not initialize and wont play, I have no Idea why, ive tried changing the user agent to desktop, ipad..etc etc
I did some research on line and on these and different forums but I can only find very very old bits about it. can anyone tell me if they have an android browser that will play music on an artist page on reverbnation and if not, is it reverbnations fault or something missing from android browsers?
if anyone is willing to help and needs more info, please feel free to ask for whatever details you'd like.
first of all... is your android device has flash player? Since android 4.1 and up don't have flash player supported so maybe that's the reason why you can't play music on you browsers.

What is the android version of your custom rom? What is your android device anyway? I'm using a Lg Optimus Black with a custom rom too and flash doesn't work for me either so i think that custom rom just doesn't support flash. Try searching for keywords like "flash player for CM9 on .....(your device's name)" or "flash player for .......(custom's rom name) on .......(your devide's name)" or something around that on google and maybe you can find the solution.

Hello, someone may know me, I recently changed my phone from my beloved N1 to F240s(optimus g pro)
and It has locked bootloader, so I cannot port any roms.
and, I want to enable tablet ui to my phone, but we cannot enable tablet ui by changing dpi(due to system ui stopped).
I know there is way to enable it, but I can't find it.
I searched a lot, and I figured out I have to modify framework stuff.
but there's no well-explained way to enable tablet ui.
If you can tell me how to do it, I'm pretty sure that will help others, too.
to be briefed:
1.I have f240s(optimus g pro), and it has locked bootloader
2.so I can't flash any roms 'cause there isn't any roms.
3.we cannot enable tab.ui by changing dpi
4.I KNOW there's a way to enable tablet ui. don't tell me I have to use PA (cause it has LOCKED BOOTLOADER, so it will take a long time to have a custom rom)
P.S. I will change dpi if it can enable tab.ui, but in stock it doesn't work so I have to modify system files.
I was wondering the same. I have a tablet with almost nearly stock android (modified by acer) but it has the same ui than the nexus 7 , but i dont like it because it shows nav bar and status bar on top and i prefer when both area at the bottom that way the screen looks bigger

2.how to install twrp mode and what its advantages over cwm mode does it reduces its chances for losing touch in cwm mode while installing any rom
(coz when i was installing stock rom 4.2.1 on my friends canvas hd during installation where we should not touch the screen it got stuck and then it lost its touching capabalities and we went to service centre)
does twrp mode reduces the vulnerabilty of losing touch??
3.and also tell me whch is the best custom rom fr canvas a116 which improves camera picture quality as it has 8mp camera but pic quality is ghatiya(poor) as compared to lumia 625 and other phone in this range also tell me is there

1 For video recording u can keep the flash on by torch app and then record video . Some roms have integrated app of torch (Just
a example)
2 Installing recoveries not make yours touch not working , i prefer TWRP as it is

3 Custom rom depend on ur taste , How u like it , how u use it. Types include
-Stock rom (recommended) -a116 stock rom or tweaked
-Customizable -Miui ,samflare, naturewiz,xperia c etc
-Battery friendly -superlamina dad, stock rom
-Gaming rom etc - mostly with higher quadrant score
4 The official google map in play store has this option, u can download offline maps

6.another thing is that yes we can save offline maps but of only particular area but in nokia here maps we can download entire country mine is india so is there any app which is in making and similar to nokia here maps
7.bit of a noobish question can we make windows os customisable for android or can we make a single os which is amalgamation of android windows phone and ios which can play any apps from any three os
i know its quite complex and cumbersome thing but i was just thinkin.............
I would say go for Lenevo Super Camera. You gonna really love it, you can turn on flash while shooting a video. And even it will give you much better quality than a stock camera. Or if you still wanna go for a custom ROM. Then you can check out Development section for custom ROMs. But before it, give a hit to Super Camera. And if you want more options in ROM, then go for new custom ROM, for battery backup and everything else. Thank you.
Bro, if you want to use offline maps, the best one to use is Sygic India Maps, which is freely available in Google Play store. Once you download the app, it asks for you to download the particular state map which you want. Once done, you can enjoy endless browsing through the map, OFFLINE!! Even supports 3D buildings and voice guidance using only GPS.

I am VERY new to custom android roms and just tinkering. is the below possible?
I want to emulate a rom on PC, tinker with it as if It were on a phone, install apps and change settings in those apps then save it as a custom rom INCLUDING the settings in all the apps I tinkered with then upload it to my phone.
A not so good example would be to emulate a rom for my note 2, play a game to level 5, save the rom & upload it to my phone. I can then upload the same rom with the game save to 2 phones.
Is that possible? if so, how?

you can emulate android but I've never managed to run a rom from a specific device I also wanted and it must me possible but hard.
to run an android there's several tools
here's the link for the tool from google that have an stock android emulator but it's very slow
there's also an program called blue stacks emulator and if it isn't fast enough too google android x86 that is the system itself that you can either install on a virtual machine or install it directly on your computer

I want ask about iOS Transition effect mod - is this project still existing and is it up to date for actual roms? I had this effects on MIUI 7 last times, and want to get it again, but i cannot find any topic for roms for example 6.9.XX. I don't wanna try olders versions, because i tried once, and i had to reflash whole rom again - backup didn't works, even with fixed premissions.
Hope someone can up to date this mod, because it was wonderfull! Cheers.
