[Q] Flash clean constantly restarting rooted LG Optimus L5 (E612f) - LG Optimus L3 II, L5 II, L7 II, L9 II

I have an LG Optimus L5 (E612). I successfully rooted it, some three weeks ago, by following these instructions. However, as of December 25, mobile device has been acting up; the problem seems to have started when I attempted to update SuperSU. The problems:
I cannot install or uninstall apps and it constantly reboots on its own.
When mobile device reboots, it appears to go to state it was in on December 25... apps uninstalled via adb for instance reappear after device reboots
What I would like to do is completely wipe it clean, using a factory reset or some sort thing. But I am unable to do that that... This is what happens:
a normal factory reset via settings fails
a factory reset by holding volume down, power button and finally home key fails as devices restarts after about 5 seconds
attempting to using fastboot erase [cache|userdata|system] fails as device restarts as soon as I issue command
I have been attempting to flash mobile device using fastboot, but I have had little luck there as well. How do I go about resolving this issue?

Your phone doesnt have fastboot. Backup your data and flash a KDZ.

I am a newbie at all this, could you please help with links to posts and/or resources that will help me 'flash a KDZ'?

I tried flashing, but I still have not had any luck with this.
KDZ Updater: I have attempted flashing... flashing process appears successful but problem still persists;
LG Software Updater Tool: This was probably the last straw. I hooked up phone via usb, in debugging + PC Suite mode... this was a success but problem is still there
Interestingly enough, the problem goes away after booting in Safe Mode; I can uninstall apps and even gain root access via adb. However, problem resurfaces after rebooting---apps I uninstalled are restored. Any idea what I could do here?
All I want to do is clean up device so I can start on a clean slate here...

[Q] Stuck in boot loop, exhausted almost all optons

LG Escape running 4.1.2
here is the progression of events:
1. rooted device
2. root seemed successful and no malfunctions
3. backed up all apps and system data with Titanium backup
4. the lg escape has no way to unlock the bootloader, so I tried various other methods. one of which was entering recovery mode via terminal commands. this is basically a hard reset, and it wiped all my data
5. I restored all my apps and data from my external sd card with titanium
My best guess is this is where something went wrong
6. upon restoration it prompted me to reboot the device
7. reboot passes manufacturer logo, but resets when AT$T logo appears
8. as stated earlier, there is no way to enter recovery mode during boot.
9. there is a hard reset during boot, but mine will not work, as it requires touching buttons which do not seem to be active in my stage of the boot sequence
so, I understand this does NOT mean my phone is bricked, but I don't know how else to get it to boot back up, or what is even causing the boot loop, as I DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOM ROMS flashed. any help here is very appreciated!
EDIT: so I have attempted to use adb on my pc to reboot into recovery from there, but it occurred to me that while I was in recovery the first time, I never checked "usb debugging". as a result my adb console commands cant even see my device. any way to turn on usb debugging while locked in a boot loop?
also, I can get it to enter download mode. I was hoping I could just reflash the firmware to it without needing to enable usb debugging, but have no clue how to do that while locked out of the phone.
I realize this is a very specialized set of questions, but it is necessary to ask here as the most people will see it. im open to any ideas

i have now tried to flash the firmware while in download mode using a less than legitimately obtained lg R&D tool. however, i need V10F_00.kdz and i am facing a bit of censorship. any kind soul willing to host this file on dropbox or similar so i can download it?
Usually devices have a button combination to press when powering on to get into different modes. Maybe try searching for the button combination of your phone on Google? Try ' lg escape button recovery ' ?

[Q] Bootloop Issue.

Alright, so after having my Fire HD 6 rooted for a few months I started experiencing some random restart issues. I decided to reset to Factory Defaults as I believe that it doesn't touch root (Please verify that one.)
Whenever I clicked on Facotory Reset, however; it immediately restarted and DID NOT RESET.
Then I tried to boot into TWRP and just reflash 4.5.3 (Downgrade) but when I tried to boot into recovery nothing happened, it just booted as normal. Thinking that it was just an error on my part, liking the wrong buttons, etc, I tried running 'adb reboot recovery'
This yielded the same result, just a normal reboot.
I have since unrooted my Kindle to try to update to 5.0.1 (To downgrade again)
Upon trying to update, I restart with no change just like in Factory Reset.
This leaves me with no Root, and no Recovery.
Next I tried using Fastboot to reset it, which now leaves me in a reboot loop that's stuck on the "Fire" logo.
TL;DR:
I have no root, I cannot get into recovery, I cannot access bootloader since ADB doesn't have permission without me giving it (Again, bootloop)
Overall, I'm kind of screwed, any help appreciated.

Please help.... I see you random viewer >.>
I think if someone had an answer they would have posted. Unfortunately, fastboot doesn't work on the 2014 HDs, and it sounds like that's what put you into the bootloop. At this point I think your only option is to contact Amazon for replacement if you're still under warranty.

You're sure fastboot doesn't work? I believe I have used it prior to this with no issues. (By the way, warranty is out >.<)

Bootloader screen doesn't indicate fastboot mode. Getvar doesn't return anything. If flash commands worked, I'm sure someone would have reported it.
If you haven't tried all button combinations, you should. (You know, hold down power; try power and vol down; try all three.) Without recovery that's all I can suggest. Sorry this happened.
I got the same problem too.
I tried to root and install gapps follow this tutorial. Everything work perfectly.
One day, my Fire's battery was empty and it turned off. I charged it and when it started, it falt in bootloop. The screen show amazon about 8sec and reboot.
I booted into twrp and flashed only 2 files update-kindle-full_ariel-20.5.2.2_user_522053520 and supersu, try to make it work but it didn't
Now, when i hold power button , "Amazon" and then "Fire" appear and it stuck there.
I tried to get into recovery by power and volume+ but didn't work, the screen show "Amazon" and reboot and stuck on "Fire" again.
What should I do now?
Sorry about my English.

rooting ls990zvg problems

just bought this phone off of craigslist.. I run the one click root methods and phone reboots but just continues to reboot into android. It's 5.0.1 and it's the ls990zvg .. do I need to restore to an older version to root?
Did you figure out how to root?
I recently rooted my stock sprint LG G3 running ZVG using this script: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/development/ls990-zva-zvb-one-click-root-method-t3212433
However, when the script tries to reboot the phone into download mode, it just reboots into the stock ROM. What I did was just wait until the script times out, at which point I think it said something about you have to reboot into DL mode manually. So I just unplugged the USB cable, shut down the phone, held down the volume up button, and inserted the USB cable. It booted to DL mode, and then script found the phone and did its thing.
I tried using the TWRP app to flash the recovery, and it said it was successful, but actually it wasn't. I used Flashify to flash TWRP, and it worked fine.

Stuck in bootloop Neffos X1. No recovery mode.

Hello community,
I haven't posted here before, so I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.
I have a problem with my Neffos X1 and after browsing the internet for hours nothing helped so far, so I hope some of you can help me out.
My phone is stuck in a bootloop since yesterday evening. I haven't done any updates or new installations recently, so it just happened out of the blue. It loads till the Neffos logo and then restarts over and over again.
Since I can't take the battery out, I tried letting it run out of energy and then restart, but as soon as I connect it to a power source the bootloop will start again.
I read a lot about getting it in recovery mode or to try and flash it, but no matter what combination of buttons I try, nothing is happening. The phone basically doesn't react to anything and just keeps restarting. The only thing I noticed is, that when pushing both volume keys the screen will just stay black (no restarting), but after letting go the bootloop will start again.
I tried flashing it via SP Flash Tools, but the phone also doesn't react to it.
Lots of troubleshooting guides also require, that I have rooted my phone in the past, unfortunatly I haven't. I also read about unlocking the bootloader, but since my phone isn't reacting to any buttons and my laptop also doesn't seem to recognize my phone (probably because it doesn't boot proberly), that doesn't seem like a solution either.
To summarize: I'm stuck in a bootloop with no recovery mode, no rooting, no unlocking bootloader, probably can only use my laptop to do anything remotely.
So, is there anything you can think of, that might help me get out of the bootloop? Or ideas of what I may did wrong when trying the other solutions?
Thanks for any help in advance.
Same problem
I have the same problem, I have tried all kinds of soft reset and nothing is working I also opened the phone to check if anything was not connected properly, but everything seems fine except for that infinite loop. Please help!

Try this
Download phone's Stock Firmware onto your personal computer.
Install the USB MTK Drivers - NOT ANY OTHERS (skip if you have them already installed).
Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the Stock Rom you just downloaded.
Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
Connect your phone via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your phone at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
Unplug phone and boot it up.
If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Voila, you are all good.

[H932] - Lost download mode after uninstalling magisk and resetting.

I have succesfully been rooted and for more than 3 years but I needed to uninstall root because some bank apps were updated and I couldn't use them anymore. After trying a bunch of stuff I wanted to uninstall stable Magisk and try the alpha version., so I pressed the Uninstall Magisk button in the app. My phone didn't want to reboot anymore (bootloop) and I lost TWRP, so i did the button dance and factory reset it. The reset seemed to only take a few seconds, no matter how many times i retried it (so possibly something went wrong there). It rebooted after a long wait (5-10 min) and I entered the setup. A few problems are now present: wifi doesn't work, random freezes and reboots (e.g. opening camera app freezes the device), every reboot takes 5-10 min etc. I enabled usb debugging in order to try the whole process of rooting the device again but only when starting the process I notices download mode loads (the blue dots) but is never entered and the device just reboots instead. It is recognized by adb but not by fastboot. LGUP recognizes the devices when it's turned on but when starting the downgrade to 10d, the device never enters download mode and reboots. LGUP just throws an error.
What are my options now?
EDIT:
So the currently i can access some basic mode which tells me it has been unlocked once and how to unlock it (no clue what this mode would be called), the loading screen for the download mode and normal turned on system mode.
EDIT2: I have a twrp backup.ab on my pc (backed up everything I think) from just before the changes. Can I somehow restore this without twrp? if I use adb restore backup.ab while the phone is on it sayw restore started and a few seconds later restore ended but nothing changes.
I am running into the EXACT SAME ISSUE. I have been trying different things such as flashing and wiping in different TWRP versions and orangefox. Also tried restoring previous backups and partitions. Nothing yet, will let you know if a solution comes along. I was messing around with flashing GSI and android 12 using GSI when this became a problem
Full wipe and data format, inti support via orange fox then Flashing kdz of 20H in recovery fixed my DL mode.
